ah. something i find a little funny is seeing people describe the way he speaks as "distant" or "detached", or even outright "cold"
i think it is very safe to say he adresses us in a way that is very personal. heartwarming, even. like someone who is excited to see us and show his work with every release (and has explicitly used the word for it).
idk you guys if you're too weirded out by him that's alright — in fact, the way he has this effect on people solidifies an uncaniness that is very important to his character — but there is no way you can look me in the eye and tell me that "SO TO BE HERE FINALLY ON THE VERGE OF CONNECTION IS QUITE EXCITING." or "I LOOK FORWARD TO CREATING A NEW FUTURE WITH YOU." or "SHALL WE? SHALL WE GO AGAIN?" is expressing nothing but professionalism🚶

the way his words are so carefully curated, not only for the sake of precision, but so it fits a rhythm that is breathable for a slow speaker.
to say exactly what he means in a short sentence, with recurring pauses and a clear pronounciation. to prefer periods(.) over commas(,).
not to be needlessly verbose – much the opposite; because this vocabulary serves the purpose of clarity, organization and to hold the attention of the listener.

What are your current thoughts on Gaster’s motives with the Secret Bosses, if you had to give your best guess?
To be completely honest, I'm of the mind that he doesn't necessarily have malicious intent with breaking their senses of reality (if he is the one doing it), but he severely misjudges how they're going to take the information he gives them.
So he's less of a villainous force, and more of a cryptid that flits in the corner of your eye, and as soon as you turn your head like "What? What was that?" your croissant has gone missing.

☝︎King in chaotic black. I love King's mouth on berry. So I tried to combine my favorites!
King's berry mouth is not the only reason I like him. It's because him being like hamster. I love hamster so much, I couldn't stand!
☝︎Inspired from Paisley Park(JJBA). Actually, I want to redraw this.

The amount of usable time for drawing is like less than one tenth compared to March these days. It really stresses me out. I can't work on next chapter.

"why can't they just be friends" not in the homophobic way but in the "their platonic relationship in the source material is far more dynamic and complex than the sanitized personalities they gain as a result of shipping" way

he would give them this type of shit
just straight up vsauce curiosity box contents
consider: mad genius who's also a very kind and lonely old man
actually adores children and connects with them better than most people because they are both openly candid, creative and curious
struggles with the asexual conundrum of wanting a spouse and offspring but ultimately Sucking So Much Ass at building intimacy with another person he skipped that part altogether and mad scienced his way into a family
