Character description & backstory (The references to research will be at the end)

Name:

Elliot “Estafa” Illiger

It means con in Spanish which the Hoatzin has a nickname in.

And Illiger is apparently the first to document the Hoatzin

Description:

A tall lean male wearing a 50-60s style era suit with a mechanical or modern flare to it. He wears genaric gloves with a symbol on the top of them and worn business shoes. The suit gives off a closed design having a similar feeling to a cage. (Colours have yet to be decided but to be a play on the colour plate of a Haotzin) His hair is pattered down. He has an odd line spanning from his upper forehead down avoiding his nose through his jaw. He often gives a fake smile. But when off duty will frown.

One of his hands can burst out of the glove, showing a metal, sharp hand with three jointed fingers in the position that all fingers (and thumb) should be. The minority of his face of which the line holds can be taken off, showing that it is a fake skin showing a metal face with a camera lense eye. One of his legs are also mechanical.

His tongue can switch between three others, one being normal and two that glow softly, being silver and gold respectively. Although the golden tongue is only used for emergencies.

The second paragraph

A physical reference to how Hoatzin’s claws are hidden by their wings

Reference to the underrated movie “9” as well as personal appeal to a more traditional camera lense for an eye then most robotic eyes media has made.

The third paragraph

References to silver and gold tongued individuals and how they aren’t always using their abilities 24/7. While also referencing how rare and more powerful a golden tongue is to a silver.

Story:

A con man in prison named Elliot Illiger, was given the option to undergo government testing to lower his sentence. He agreed but soon regretted that choice as he saw a bin with multiple severed limbs and pieces of flesh carved off. A constant symbol was everywhere of a Phoenix like bird curled up with a ring around it.

There Elliot undergone painful experiments where they replaced his arm and leg with robotic ones. He could feel the steel like skin, the cold hard nature of it as his long sharp tri jointed fingers and thumb moved. Later he had his head operated on, removing his eye for another and giving him the ability to switch between three tongues, having one out while the other two sit within his lower jaw. They gave Elliot silver and golden glowing tongues as he cried in pain at the sensations of having something forcefully jointed to his nerves.

After one of the facility’s experiments went wrong all the people rebelled leading into the death of many with Elliot escaping with just his life. However, when he returned to the city a wealthy businessman came to him saying how he caused the incident that lead to rebelling and expects Elliot to pay in full. When he couldn’t the businessman was going to have Elliot killed. However, with the use of the golden tongue he was given he was able to make a deal to work until his debt was done.

The businessman had Elliot change his name to Estafa as a way to remind him of his position. Begrudgingly Elliot would go door to go to sweet talk or force people into selling their homes to the businessman as he expands his empire. So Elliot had to be the businessman’s salesman.
