What really gets me about Look My Way is when Stolas says "But dearest, I know better now - I must give you this choice - I can give you everything you need - Or do you want to hear me plead?"

At this point, Stolas is ready to get on his knees and beg for Blitz to stay with him (and not in the sexy way) but he still won't do it if Blitz doesn't want him to.

Because Stolas cares about Blitz's freedom of choice more than he cares about what he himself wants.

This makes me fucking weep every single time.

I figured I'd better make my contribution to the season 2 Sinner!Adam theory so here we go...

Transfem!Adam (haven't yet figured out what her name would be) who, once arriving at the hotel, starts exploring her identity more and eventually figures out she's a woman despite the whole "first man creation thing". Lucifer and Charlie especially help her stop blaming herself for "not meeting God/heaven's standards" because being an almighty creator of the universe does not excuse blatant transphobia and anyone who hates her for being herself is an asshole.

Also, enemies to friends to lovers with Lucifer because THE CHEMISTRY IS THERE. And Charlie is constantly coming up with schemes to get them to confess their feelings (e.g. the typical 'lock them in a closet') because sometimes a little outside influence is needed ;)

I propose that we, as a society, should stop using the term "homophobia" to reference all types of anti-queer discrimination.

Homophobia is, by definition, prejudice against homosexuals/gay or lesbian people.

But there are many different identities that fall under the LGBTQ banner, obviously, including but not limited to transgender, bi/pan or aro/ace.

There are certain terms like transphobia, biphobia or aphobia that are, like homophobia should be, limited to prejudice against one type of queer label.

Queerphobia is a much more accurate term to describe prejudice against the LGBTQ community as a whole. You wouldn't call your nonbinary aromantic friend homosexual, would you? (If you would, that's a whole other issue). Why should that change when referring to discrimination against the community, which is a topic that should be handled with respect for queer people.

There are lots of different ways to be queer, and all terms associated with the community should respect that- even ones I wish didn't have to exist.

So please, use "queerphobia" instead. It's just more respectful to the people who have to deal with it on a daily basis.

I have a new idea for a multichap fic brewing in my head...

Hazbin Hotel high school AU (the characters are either high school students or teachers, I haven't decided yet and all roughly the same age; I don't care that Zestial's canonically 750 years old), mainly starring Zestmilla, Huskerdust and.... a Lute ship. Any Lute ship; I'll figure it out later.

(Also possibly Stolitz if I decide to include Helluva)

So, like, fear for your lives once I write this.....

Because ZESTMILLA ANGST is my main plan for it so far.
