ok so I was going to write a different caption for this but I honestly have no idea wtf I’m doing right now lol. so far this quarter has been the busiest I’ve ever had- I’m taking 19 credits (the highest I’ve ever taken), started working at my first internship, doing work with some community activist organizations, planning what my life is going to look like over the next year, not to mention… surviving during an election year in a global pandemic). needless to say, I am very tired. it’s all just a lot and last week I finally burnt out. 

tbh it feels wrong to complain about everything I’m doing because it’s all stuff that I genuinely love (other than analyzing founding father speeches for my communication of public address class) but I guess I really just have to keep reminding myself that work is work, and productivity isn’t admirable if you never take a break. you don’t have to earn the right to rest- what’s important is that you prioritize it. my life will work itself out one way or another. everything is going to be okay. sending you lots of love xxx

I have a super busy week this week with lots of things to tick off before Friday so I can have the weekend to myself. I also have to prepare myself for a job interview I have next week

I have a proposal due next week so that’s on the top of my to do list

In two days I’m moving to France and I’ve so much to do this week T T. I was planning on spending my last days in Istanbul leisurely but I’m just running around.

25th August - Do you wear sunscreen?

My skin is really sensitive and I get so many bad sunburns or even sun allergies, I really need to use it all the time.

hello autumn! 🍂

the sky’s turned thick and grey, yet my smile could not be any bigger. i have been waiting for you so much. please, be nice and gentle  🍂🌾🌿🌻 i have spent the second half of the day preparing and planning for the upcoming fall, which in my case includes:

buying lots and lots of cider (sorry not sorry) and a huge pumpkin to prepare some soup for the weekend

looking for fall recipes and writing them down to try out during autumn

writing the usual fall bucket list, that includes visiting the corn maze that has been reopened very close to where i live

dedicating some time to trying out the lettering book my friend gave me for my b-day - what an amazing and cozy hobby for a rainy day! highly recommend to everyone who is looking for something new to try out during this season (also - a huge upgrade to your bullet journal spreads!)

repotting my baby avocado into a bigger pot 

downloading the whole hp series in blu-ray for those foggy rainy days when you feel like laying in bed and doing absolutely nothing

stacking up on some tea, cocoa and snacks

changing all my pillows from summer ones to - you guessed it - autumn ones 

and yes, it is the 1st of September, and yes, i am totally obsessed. now confess,have you already started with your fall preparations for this season (come on, we all know you have)? 🌾🌿
