It was a pleasure visiting IFCE’s Guaramiranga campus. Thank you for the private tour and the wonderful hospitality. I will be back when it opens up as a hotel for the public.

Hotel Vale das Nuvens
The Hotel Valley of Clouds is located at the top of a mountain in Guaramiranga. The hotel is built only with environmentally friendly materials. The apartments are made from 100% recycled plastic. It’s the first ecohotel in the city, and will definitely have a huge impact on ecotourism. The owner of the hotel is currently designing similar projects in Las Vegas and Switzerland.
This beautiful paradise is the perfect environment to relax and getaway from the stress of everyday life, and technology. It’s so peaceful to be in direct contact with nature. I sure enjoyed the incredible panoramic views of the towns of Baturité & Aracoiaba, and all the beauty it had to offer.

Serra de Baturité
Baturité Mountains is full of farms as the town explores fruit growing and agriculture very well. Baturité has one of the last reserves of the Atlantic Forest in Ceará and the natural surroundings make it a perfect place for Ecotourism.
It is the ideal place to go for walks or hikes on nature trails, where you can breathe fresh air and enjoy the crisp cool weather.

Mosteiro dos Jesuítas
Located in the most peaceful place in Serra de Baturité, this once was a school for Jesuit priests. The construction of this historic building was finished on August 15th, 1927.
Today the former seminary is still run by Jesuits, and serves as a retreat house and guest house. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful gardens, events, and the breathtaking views of the towns of Baturité and Aracoiaba.

It’s not goodbye, it’s see you soon! Não tchau , ver você em breve!
I want to truly and genuinely thank Hotel Sonata for this opportunity of a lifetime. I learned so much throughout the past 8 weeks at Hotel Sonata.
At Hotel Sonata, there is a different way of getting work done. It involves having fun at the same time, which makes work not seem like work. Each member of the Hotel Sonata team brings in something different, and that is what makes them truly the best team. Everyone works so well together, and I only wish I could work with a team like theirs in the future.
I have never seen an employee without a smile on their face. No matter what they might be going through in their personal life, at work everything changes. The energy that they have is contagious. They gave me such a warm and upbeat feeling like nothing else mattered in the world. They taught me how to be happy while washing dishes. They taught me how to smile while setting tables. They taught me how to laugh while making beds. They are the hardest working individuals I have ever met. It’s beautiful for the guests to walk into a hotel with a staff like this because they will never want to leave.
This journey was both educationally and personally rewarding. This team has made me feel a part of their family, and it breaks my heart to leave. Two months ago I thought the hardest thing I’ve ever done was moving out here to Brazil. But now it seems like the hardest thing to do is leave. I truly want to thank each and every member of the beautiful Sonata team, for all the memories, the laughs, the motivation, inspiration, and for the lifelong friendships we have made.
Amor e Beijos,
Reecha
