I wanted to make a “which table are you sitting at ?” Version for my ocs. Little random, very little of these tables consist of characters that interact, let alone actual friends. I just wanted to make bunch of ‘lol what if these characters interacted” and give each table a decent blend of sweet nice guys and those absolutely insufferable ❤️

Updated Map of RESETTING !

I just wanted to revamp it a little and make it look a little clearer, even if it’s not a super accurate map. I didn’t draw nearly enough buildings and they’re larger here than they would be in the real story. But it gives a general idea of how I visualize the setting of my story. Most of it takes place in Evelow (particularly that bottom cityscape) but other areas are relevant and have a role.

sean - touching, kissing, compliment giving. Sean kind of interprets how people he cares for likes to be given love, so adjusts as appropriate

@duck-n-clover It's sad that Cora and Morgan ultimately have a falling out, but it is indicative of Cora's character growth (don't worry, Morgan will get theirs later)

Oliver doesn't remember his time with the crew, but Brian has no issue with talking about it and Oliver's kind of grown up knowing the story. With that being said, Oliver doesn't hold the same grudges, and is even kind of curious about them as he grows older. Brian doesn't stop him from wanting to reach out, though Brian thinks it'd be impossible though.

Funny enough, I think Oliver would run into some of them in the future ? I have drawn an older version of Oliver and I think he'd know of little Jean and Salem, who are close with Morgan and know Naomi and Skylar, so it's possible Oliver meets at least those three ! And no bad blood, Morgan has grown more sympathetic towards the situation since (and the twins keep their mouths shut of anything insensitive, plus they liked Ronnie, so they could share some funs stories too !)

Brian would scoff and still think the crew are a bunch of asses, but Oliver's just curious and still cautious, so he's trying not to complain.

i wanted to talk about brian's story a bit on his birthday but though that has past I now have access to a computer lol.

but yeah it's a shame I don't talk about him more ! he was one of my first ocs, and sometimes I think I should kind of give him his own mini storyline (kind of how heidi and ian have one... none of this is actually written down but you kind of get my gist i hope)

but I don't have much of brian's childhood planned out. I just know he was a middle child and lived in the city of Recom, a port city that didn't have many permanent residents, lots of people traveling through. When he was older he became a mechanic and started a relationship with one of those said travelers, a pirate named Ronnie. (Well, they claimed to be """""just friends"""" but they were intimate and wanted to be romantic, but it was a lot of Brian following Ronnie around on her trips) Brian didn't care too much for Ronnie's crew, which you might be familiar with (Crimson, Morgan, Naomi, Skylar...) But Ronnie loved them, so Brian tolerated them.

However, Ronnie eventually became pregnant ! And so they decided to keep the baby, who would grow up with a little mutation due to both parents' overexposure in harsh toxic environments (is this biologically sound ? Absolutely not, but Oliver has six eyes so yay !) Even Ronnie's crew adored the little guy ! However, this happiness would only last for about a year or so when Ronnie and another of her crewmates, Morgan, were involved in a scavenging accident that led them both in critical condition.

The crews' makeshift medical team, Adam and Seth (they were organ harvesters, but they picked up the skill of transplanting organs too !) were left with the decision to only save one of them, but to brian's dismay, their choice was easily favored towards Morgan (who was actively trying to insert themself into their relationship, so there's that bias lmao) Everyone in the crew kind of took this as "well it had to be one of them, we have to move on now" but this was brian's breaking point. He couldn't believe they brushed off Ronnie's death so quickly, and without her, there was no incentive to stay, so he took Oliver and left.

Though he decided to check out the city of Evelow. Brian heard the city was nothing like Recom or the badlands, and the risks of scavenging were unheard of there, so to Evelow he went. From there, Brian took on a job at the energy factory, and befriends people like Cora and Orisa, the latter of which becomes his roommate. He also meets Cora's best friend Jake, who eventually becomes Brian's boyfriend.

While Brian thinks his days in the badlands are gone, little does he know Cora was a childhood friend of Morgan, so when Morgan strolls into town, Cora (mistakenly) decides Morgan and Brian should reunite ! And we know that doesn't work out ! But is a little less expected is that Cora ultimately takes Brian's side, and while Morgan is my favorite and I love them to pieces, this was a good choice for Cora lol.

Would they agree with the term ‘guilty pleasure’ ? Do they have any ?

Orisa dislikes that term, and in fact, would discourage other people from using it. "Do not feel shame over the things you enjoy !!" She would push on to her friends.

I'm sure she has a few things she feels bad about enjoying, like processed snacks or trashy reality tv, but she tries to ignore the guilt.

If money wasn’t a limit, what would they wear?

She'd probably invest in more expensive jewelry. I don't think her fashion would change too much beside that. Orisa loves thrifting.

Stability or novelty?

20 % stability, 80 % novelty. She stays true to her opinions, but she's mostly a free spirit and loves stimulation.
