Ok so hear me out, I hate the Slytherin house colours. Like I don’t know if this was by design but Slytherins flag truly shows they were always meant to come second. Think about it,

Gryffindor - red/gold - gold is first place

Slytherin - green/silver - silver is second place

Ravenclaw - blue/bronze - bronze is third place

Hufflepuff - yellow/black - I assume last

There isn’t anyway you can say it that would make me think Salazar Slytherin would PURPOSELY associate himself with anything that doesn’t mean winning. It doesn’t work with his vibe.
