for a community that's famously harder to organise than cats, I am so impressed with how many hermits showed up or got involved with the gamers outreach charity stream. as far as I know we had:

That's 77.77% of the hermits (doc must be up to something). And I know some of them are on holiday right now. Some of them aren't comfortable sharing addresses to post things for auction. It's amazing how many hermits were both willing and able to step up for this weekend, giving up their time, their money, and their possessions for charity.

Hello beautiful people I'm freaking out.

I just came out to my (quite usually homophobic) mother.

AND SHE WAS OKAY WITH IT!?!?!?!?!

I mean technically she said that she never wanted to see me with another woman if she could but that she would never stop loving me?!?!

I would like to let all you wonderful people know that like a year ago she told me that if she ever found out that I liked the same gender she would lock me in our home and take away any technology I had?!? AND SHES OKAY WITH IT NOW?!??!!??

Like when I told her, on accident btw, she just got quite for a second and told me that she would love me regardless of who I love and that she would still provide me with food and shelter and what ever I need.

I know I should be ecstatic and happy, but I am very much freaking out!!!!!

Like how do I handle this situation, like yeah she's apparently okay with it but she very much does NOT like gay people. But maybe not? I'm so confused.

This happened like an hour ago and now it's like we're pretending nothing happened. Can someone help me what do I do in this situation? Am I overreacting? Like I'm glad she doesn't hate me but like now what? I've hidden this from her since I was in fucking middle school and now it's out in the open.

I think one of the hardest things I've had to do is delete pictures of my ex-bestfriend. Because in those pictures she wasn't the person who hurt me, she was the person I told all my problems to, my shoulder to cry on. She was the person who saw me at my most vulnerable and weakest moments.

It took me two years to finally get rid of our photos together. It took me 10 minutes to get rid of years' worth of memories.

I will never forgive her for what she did, but those little girls in that photo have no clue what they did wrong to get their picture erased forever.

I will forever apologize to those little girls who thought that they would be bestfriends forever and ever because they don't deserve the hatered and sadness I feel when I see their pictures.

Because as much as I hate her, I loved her like a sister.

It's so funny hearing Joel complain about him and Bdubs not being online at the same time because from what everyone else seems to complain, Joel is basically never online at the same time as ANYONE. This man only logs in on the 25th hour, builds an entire new building, then drops off the face of the map.

Mumbo got lonely since Grian is in a constant prank war with Doc, so he's built another Grumbot that is slowly taking all the dimonds on the server to help Mumbo become mayor (we don't tell Grumbot that there is no mayor). He has to permanently keep his thumb on a chain so he doesn't use it to shift.

Scars starter base is already bigger than half of the mega bases and he's still not finished with it.

BigB was added this season. No one is sure what he is doing ever or how he actually got on to the server. He's just gaslighting everyone into believing he's always been there.

It's 2031, and Hermitcraft Season 15 has just started.

DocM77 has created a machine that adds a new dimension. Zero mods, no resource packs, just redstone and glitches. He is using Netherite blocks for his redstone circuits.

JimmySolidarity joined two seasons ago, and has died first every time. He is very careful this season, but other Hermits kill him first on purpose.

TangoTek has built Decked Out 4 in the End. It is roughly four times the size of the main island, and the dragon has been captured and sealed in an obsidian box so that it will make a cool sound effect in one specific room.

SMajor joined five days ago, and he has already been in a fan-favourite duo with half the server. His Ao3 tag has quadrupled in size, and his tumblr tag is full of art vaguely shipping him with just about anyone with a face.

Pearl has been a landscaper, a janitor, a postmaster, an accountant, a bus driver, and a librarian. Running out of public service jobs, she has started showing up at people's houses in real life with teas and coffees. No one's sure how she gets there.

Etho's tissue box has finally disintegrated, and everyone is excitedly recommending him mic stands. He is trying to hide the fact that he has put an exact copy of the box in its place already.

Zombie Cleo has become so adept at manipulating armor stands that they can perfectly recreate literally anything. Including things that by all rights should not exist. New viewers occasionally complain about lovecraftian nightmares and mental issues after seeing them. Cleo and their older viewers laugh like it's an inside joke.
