The Ultimate Matchup!!!! Winner of the Main Bracket vs. Winner of the Losers Bracket!!!

Which is worse: shooting your son in the leg for no discernible reason, or fusing your daughter with a dog so you can get a better paycheck?

If this point had been made before, apologies. It's just the main thing that always sticks out for Shou Tucker. Which is that he didn't even do a good job on creating a chimera.
Later in the show, we see MULTIPLE chimeras. Humans with their full facilities and the best of the animals they were fused with.
So not only did he commit a crime against his family twice. Not only is he a terrible father and a terrible human in general.
He's a terrible alchemist.

Can't believe we're having this conversation, but Shou Tucker was NOT "a good dad up until he did that". Good dads don't kill their kid's mom by fusing her with some animal and making her suffer so much she kills herself by starving to death because he wants money. Good dads don't allow their child to feel so terribly lonely, she has only a dog as a company in a big house because he's busy in his office. Good dads don't allow the house chores to pile up so terribly because "his wife is gone"
Moreover, transmutation like that is not something simple to do. It's not something you can just draw a circle that's the earth and be done with it. He planned all of it. He had the research done. He gathered the ingredients and drew the circles. He chose the family dog in specific.
And he showed absolutely no remorse. Even when he knew that Chimera Nina would suffer terribly, because his wife suffered so much she killed herself, he showed to remorse. He was ecstatic! He even deluded himself into thinking he now could provide Nina a better life with the money he'd get as if that'd somehow matter to the daughter he literally committed a crime against.

The biggest thing for Tucker for me is the betrayal because he seems like a good/decent father at first then he goes and does THAT. like if he was an obvious pos for the start the reveal wouldn't stung as much
RIGHT??!!
but for me the main thing that did it, besides nina and alexander both being SO adorable, was him making the “we’re not so different you and i” speech at ed. like

Huge congratulations to Clay Puppington, winner of the Shitty Cartoon Dad Losers' Bracket!
I couldn't be prouder of everyone who voted. Clay is 90% of the reason I started this blog, and even though this is basically a consolation prize, I'm glad he's getting the recognition he deserves.
However, this still leaves us with one question: how will Clay fare against the real shittiest cartoon dad of all time, Shou Tucker?
We shall see…
Stay tuned.

🚿 Which character(s) sweeps took you most by surprise?
Oh, easy. Mr. Turner.
I mean, especially with him beating Buck Cluck in round one. Buck got the second most submissions out of everyone.

Ask game, mostly “am mid-way/finished running a bracket” edition because I’m bored:
🐬 Which character(s) did you originally have in mind when making this tournament?
🧢 Were there any characters you predicted would win that actually ended up loosing?
🧊Are you running/have you ran any other tournaments? If so, which ones?
🛝 Which, if any, was your favorite matchup and why?
💎Are there any fandoms you found out existed via this tournament that you’d now be interested in checking out?
💙What’s your favorite part about running this tournament?
🚿 Which character(s) sweeps took you most by surprise?
📫Do you plan on running any other different tournaments after this one?
🩻 What’s the best piece of propaganda you’ve gotten from this tourney?
🗽Favorite image(s) you’ve used in a poll?
Feel free to ask me any of these! (:

Canonically Jewish Character Tournament
hey! it's me, runner of @shittycartoondadshowdown, @shittycartoonmomshowdown, and @nepobabyshowdown. i'm here with another tournament for characters who are CANONICALLY jewish.
rules:
obviously, the character has to be confirmed jewish.
i won't rule out non-matrilineal jews though—if the character's dad is jewish but their mom isn't, i may count them anyway, depending on the character's relationship with judaism & how closely they identify w it.
if the character's judaism is only confirmed in a statement by the creator outside of the source itself, then i'll make a poll on whether they should qualify.
ditto for if the only proof we get is, for lack of a better word, non-substantial (like, say, the character goes to her niece's wedding and all the men are wearing kippahs and there's a canopy and they step on a glass but it's unclear whether the niece is jewish or if her husband-to-be is, or if they both are). but if i know the character well enough i may just decide on my own
the obligatory "submit as many characters as you want but only submit each character once"
fictional characters only
will probably cap at 32 characters, but ultimately it depends on the number of submissions
nobody's included automatically! submit jewish blorbos both well-known and obscure!
submissions will be open until may 5
please, for the love of god, no homestuck.
inspired in large part by @nicejewishcharactershowdown, and here's a few other cool blogs you should follow: @bestinshowbracket @indigenous-character-tournament @blackcharactertournament @ultimateheadcanontournament @bluehairandpronouns-tournament @fatherfigurefistfight @latine-showdown
