How does double elimination work?

In a double elimination bracket there are two brackets, a winners bracket and a losers bracket. People in the winners bracket have never lost a poll. People in the losers bracket lost once. If someone loses twice, they're eliminated. The losers bracket is staggered slightly behind the winners bracket.

In the episode "The Beak" Candace takes on the identity of a supervillain she calls "The Dangiraffe" in order to bust her brothers who have decided to become superheros in a bird-themed superhero suit. She doesn't actually have any powers but dresses up like a giraffe, I guess because of her famously long neck.
