I re-read the story, you are 100% right my brain just doesn’t like to read words properly 🤣.

Man finding out Nora was a red head nearly broke me 🥺 I also LOVE her sense of humor. Her implying she needed a drink (heavyweight hc mode activated) or how mad she’d be if Charlie either cheated or divorced her 11/10. We only got crumbs but I feel feed.

Also Cody not talking to Frankie for a week afterwards 😭

I think Cody just wanted to blame someone and well, considering Frankie is the one who suggested that when they get back that she might be in their timeline kinda puts her in the position to be blamed (not that i think she should be blamed at all, she’s honestly right the timeline shouldn’t be messed with more than it already is) but Cody’s emotional state and the experience he had doesn’t help him at all to realize that

The fact we got a story for Nora at all is something I never thought would happen but I’m SO GLAD it did, and just, the way Cody blames himself and how we also get a deeper look at Charlie’s and the kids’ emotions about their loss, how Kade just wouldn’t talk about it, how Graham wept, how Dani blames herself like Charlie

ALSO ALSO “She laughs like Kade. Her voice was really nice. And she gives really good hugs.” HAS A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART, the fact she laughs like Kade??? I’m crying i love that so much

Nicole’s clever writing really blows the mind, cause later on when Cody meets her, he takes note of her red hair (a parallel to Kade), how she smelled like the soap Graham used and how Nora herself commented that she cooks like Dani, it made me think the story is trying to show how each of the kids take after their mom one way or another, but it also brings up the interesting question if Graham used that specific soap cause it reminds him of her and if Dani tries cooking even tho she’s terrible at it to also connect with her mother in some way or form, a coping/ comfort mechanism

And the fact Kade, Graham and Dani welcomed Cody in and didn’t see him as the reason they lost their mother??? Crying and screaming i love families that love each other unconditionally <33333

Just received word that my highschool art teacher was killed on April 6th, 2024. This is the link to the family's Go Fund Me in order to bring her home from Spain. Anything helps them, whether you donate or share.

She was an amazing art teacher, she believed in me and my ability and I wouldn't be where I am today without her pushing me. Because of her I have experimented with nearly every medium, from paint to pottery. She was a beautiful soul and did not deserve what happened to her.

Ms. Pitman was an amazing woman. The only thing I regret is never being able to share what I have achieved in art with her after she left my school.

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.

and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.

there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.
