its so unfortunate when different peoples neurodivergent traits clash horribly. like yes i totally understand that the man at the other table cant control his stimming and loud vocal tics and i think he deserves to have a nice day out at a restaraunt without judgement. however if i dont remove myself from the audible vicinity in the next 20 seconds i will explode.
I’d been eyeing this stunning design by @aleksibriclot for years, and a little while ago (after two years of working on it) I finally finished it! It has all the dark norse fantasy vibes that I wanted Ragnarok to be, and I figured hey, I can make it myself!
I had to up a lot of my leatherworking skills for this one, and I dove into a lot of new skills as well to try to make all the pieces a cohesive whole. It uses lambskin leather, suede cowhide, and veg tan, as well as an entire sheepskin for the cape!
This whole costume has truly been a labour of Loki love and I’m so glad I was able to share all the madness (process) and the finished look!
Doing the Dracula Daily read-a-long this year and I'm wanting to do something a little extra while reading. I'm going to try and make some of the meals shown in the book, but does anyone have any ideas of what else I can do for fun?
the underwhelming dense pang of sadness mixed with the loss of personal identity and opportunity that goes hand-in-hand when you're forced to live with your parents as someone well into their adult years lol
so a few days ago I saw this post, and the accompanying tags from @brrmian :
the idea of Cody being simultaneously so cool on the surface and constantly overanalysing every interaction stuck with me so much that I ended up spitting all my thoughts into existence
Thinking about the DDMG fam getting home from some nonsense and all passing out together is really cute. Like the five of them either make it to the boys' room at the Children's Home and then collapse on the floor, making a nest out of all the Turtle's bedding and pillows; or when they're living at the Lair, they get as far as the living room and then conk out of the floor.
Except, whenever I think about this, I remember 2012 Leo canonically sleeps like he's in a coffin.
So it's Splinter, Mikey, Donnie and Raph all curled up next to each other, the boys using rat dad as a pillow or extra blanket... and then there's Leo imitating nosferatu, stiff as a board.
