Gender is so hard when you really start examining it, and sometimes you need to do that. Sometimes it can just be as simple as vibes. And sometimes you already made the choice in your head a long time ago and need to accept it.
Here's the thing society doesn't want you to know: You don't have to be sure of your gender. You can explore it. You can be wrong. You can be a bit of a mess about it. You are allowed to be confused and to be confusing and full of contradictions. You're not committed to anything. You can tell people or you can not. It's all valid and I've done all of those things on my journey.
There's something else you should know. You can try hormones. I went back and forth over whether or not I wanted estrogen for 3 years. It wasn't until someone told me that you can try hormones and just stop if you don't like it that I was able to take the plunge. I knew within a few weeks that it was the right decision, because it's so much more than physical changes.
So I'm here, right now, telling you that you can try a new gender if you want to. You can try hormones if you want to. I beg of you to explore who you are, regardless of where it may lead you, because that's the path to happiness.
