heya!! i know you said reposting is a big No for you, but would i be allowed to use your thrushpelt art as an icon with proper credit? it's alright if you're not comfortable with that though!

you can use it as an icon with credit, what i mean is i dont want the full drawing reposted to other sites as i’ll miss out on the traffic and exposure given to the picture because people won’t go to my original post or profile to like my art, but just like or share the picture from the account they found it on, thus giving me no attention for my own work.

but icons are fine as theyre not the entire artpiece, though i’d still like people to ask before using it as icons

i’m one of the two hosts for the map, and the character designer for brambleclaw and hawkfrost (as well as sasha, mothwing and tigerstar)

i can’t take credit for the color pallette change idea. it never said to do that in the script, so that was all raevei’s idea, and they made it look super cool! but this art is so cooooool!!

Tbh honest the colors in general look amazing, like throughout the whole MAP they look awesome. So y’all please show this MAP some love, it deserves it.

Also I know the MAP focuses on Hawkfrost but I couldn’t help but also draw my boy Brambleclaw lol. He fluff.

So, my personal use bases...

I’ve decided to release them in a PWYW format, meaning you can tip if you want to but otherwise they’re completely free.

Why? Because with the Warriors Wiki’s sprites being the default for non-artists to go to when they wanna make pixel references of their characters, despite the wiki asking you not to use the sprites outside the wiki, it might be nice for some people to use sprites that are less jumbled in style and more-so consistent in design.

Well that and also not trying to mimic realistic styles.

You may use them for more than just WC OCs too, so that’s why they’re just called Pixel Cat bases.

They’re absolutely free to use, so long you remember to read the README in the ZIP file.

Basically:

You may erase the signature in your pixel, but credit should be given somehow if you use them. Either link to my twitter (listed in the README) by linking to the gumroad page.

Please do not sell any of the bases used. This includes making adoptables with them. I’m not comfortable with the idea of my free bases being used for commercial purposes when I’m only earning the money people generously decide to tip me with for these bases. Any adoptable made with these bases should be free, or at least not cost real money.
