While I think it’s absolutely lovely that the Tennants and the Sheens are apparently neighbors now(!!), I do worry for how the crazy RPS blogs on here are going to twist this around as “proof” that their relocation closer to each other is to facilitate David and Michael having some sort of secret romantic relationship… 🙄😫

Aight I’m gonna make a post because I can’t keep up with the people who keep asking me about the Georgia Tennant situation on Twitter 😂
Please note that I am by ZERO MEANS an expert on what happened, I just found out about it like an hour ago and from what I can gather, this is how things went down. If you’re someone who knows more than me, please feel free to chime in!
So basically, it sounds like it started with this tweet, but where someone called out Georgia for liking Zionist propaganda on Instagram and then unliking it when she got called out. Which, I could get into a whole discussion about how problematic it feels that some people have enough time on their hands to comb through celebrities’ likes, but that’s another rant for another time.
Tumblr media
Anyway, Georgia responded with a simple “wow”, as seen above. Then, she went on to clarify said comment here.
Tumblr media
Now, other than those two tweets, IDK what was said to her, if she was priv-tweeted with hate, or if people were messaging her and being awful, I truly don’t know. But she deactivated her account and seems to have left the platform.
So…that’s the situation as I understand it. If anyone has anything else to add, please feel free to reblog this. Hope this helps anyone who was confused about what happened.

To the 16-20 year old kids who bullied Georgia Tennant into deactivating her Twitter, a few questions:
Are y’all even David’s fans? Cause it seems like you LOVE to talk about how you are, until he—or in this case, his wife—says something that doesn’t align exactly with your beliefs, and you immediately feel the need to pounce on them, cancel them, and drive them off social media.
Second, if you are David’s fans, do you really think he’d be cool with how you’ve treated his wife? Cause I guarantee he probably 1) most likely shares the same beliefs as her, and 2) I HIGHLY doubt he would be okay with y’all cyberbullying his wife. In fact, he’d probably be pissed, and have some very strong words to say to y’all about it if he had a platform of his own.
Mark my words: y’all think you’re being cute and getting clout for bullying your favorite celebrities (i.e. Michael Sheen) or their families (i.e. Georgia Tennant) off social media because they don’t believe the exact same way that you do, but ultimately you’re just going to force them further out of the public eye to where they aren’t going to want to interact with their fan base at all.
So…congrats, I guess. Don’t come crying to me when you don’t have behind-the-scenes pics of David or Michael on your TLs, and definitely make sure to change your pfp pic if it’s one of David, cause clearly you don’t respect him at all 🤷‍♀️ Thanks for coming to my angry Ted Talk

Well, I for one absolutely cannot WAIT until all the 16-20 year olds who bullied Georgia Tennant off Twitter come back crying in a week about how they don’t have any behind-the-scenes/candid pics of David on their TL 🙄
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. 🤷‍♀️
She was SUCH a huge part of why David has any social media presence at all and y’all just basically said “get fucked”, I stg

Been wanting to write a fanfic where Barty Crouch Jr. lives post-GOF fic. IDK, is that something people do?
Bit worried about starting it because while I’m inspired by David Tennant’s acting in the movie, Barty Crouch Jr. is like…a dick of the finest order 😂

@ineffableleo I am going to edit my post to say “straight-presenting”. I think that more speaks to what I was trying to say. Thank you for your comment!
Okay I lied that last rant wasn’t over
YET ANOTHER THING: I’ve seen a LOT of the blogs on here who ship David and Michael romantically talk about how David is “secretly” queer and how they’re going to be “safe spaces” for him when he’s ready to come out publicly.
Y’all. There is so, so much wrong with this for so many reasons. First of all, aside from a few rumors to the contrary that I’ve never seen any basis for, David has always been straight. He’s only dated women and is currently married to a woman, with whom he has several children. Yes, one of his kids is non-binary and he is an ardent supporter of them and an ally for the LGBTQ+ community as whole. This is GREAT. It shows he’s an engaged parent and a wonderful ally to the community. However, there is nothing pointing to the fact that that David is queer himself. Him wearing pride pins and wearing the “queer is here” sweatshirt is zero indication of his own sexuality. For all we know, he’s just supporting his kid. Also, all the “better halves” and “work wives” jokes made between the Tennant and Sheen families are clearly that: jokes. They’re all clearly in on the gag and think it’s funny, so they keep using it. There’s been no real life basis for them actually all being in love with each other and in some kind of swingers situation.
Second, labeling David as “queer” when he hasn’t specifically said he is himself is just plain wrong. There’s nothing “safe space” about that. Y’all just want to label him that because you want to fit him into your special little mold, so that your ship of Michael/David can set sail IRL, or so you can feel better represented. If it’s the latter, I encourage you to look at how David is an outspoken ally for the LBGTQ+ community. He’s made his voice known for years about how passionate he is about that community’s rights, and is a great high-profile ally to have. He doesn’t NEED to be queer himself if that’s not truly who he is.
Point is: Don’t label someone with a sexuality they’ve never publicly used themselves just because you want to see them that way.
If for some reason David wants to come out in the future, that’s great and I’ll support him wholeheartedly if it ever happens. But…there is NOTHING WRONG with letting him be in a happy, straight marriage with his wife. Both of them seem very happy, and both of them continue to be strong advocates for the LBGTQ+ community. Let them live their lives.

@asaziraphale I see your point, and I appreciate you saying something. Honestly, the only reason I referred to him as straight was because that always how he has presented himself, to my knowledge. I will edit the post to say “straight-presenting”. Thank you!

*cracks knuckles* Yet another PSA about the Tennant and Sheen families…
Alright, here goes it. I don’t give a fuck if you ship Aziraphale and Crowley. I’m a huge shipper of them myself, so it’s all good! Love them, want the world for them, etc etc. HOWEVER, if you want to:
1. ship David and Michael romantically
2. want to use shipping David and Michael as an excuse to be blatantly misogynistic against their respective partners (Georgia and Anna)
3. want to allege that they are being “trapped” in their marriage by their partners “strategically” having kids
Then get the fuck off my blog. Seriously. There’s no place for you here.
You’re literally hoping that David Tennant, a man with five kids, will leave his wife of 12 years (whom he clearly loves) to end up in a hyper-sexual romantic relationship with Michael Sheen, who would also have to leave his partner as well, with whom he has two young children and who he seems very happy with. You’re literally wanting happy families to get broken apart so that your selfish ship can sail. It’s disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I get wanting to have queer representation, it’s greatly needed and there is always room for more of it. However, wanting to assign a queer identity to someone who hasn’t publicly acknowledged that they identify that way is NOT okay. I don’t care who they are, celebrity or not. If you want to see queer representation, then Aziraphale and Crowley are RIGHT THERE. Don’t wreck real people’s relationships with their partners—and their friendship with each other—just because you want your ship to sail. If for some reason David and/or Michael want to come out in the future on their own, then that’s for them to do when they feel comfortable, and speculating about their identities without them saying anything is just weird and gross.
AND ANOTHER THING! All y’all who write essay-long posts analyzing every single social media thing about Michael, David, Georgia, and Anna: y’all need to get a fucking life. Go outside. Touch grass. PLEASE stop treating these very real people like they’re puppets in your grand romance story. I guarantee you that their lives are probably not NEARLY as fascinating and scandal-filled as what you think they are. And believe it or not—because I know y’all LOVE to use this as “evidence”—people are allowed to not be all smiley and lovey-dovey in selfies and photos with their partners, and for many people, teasing their partners is part of their relationship! *gasp* I know right?? Shocking. It literally doesn’t mean anything that Georgia and David tease each other or that Michael and Anna tease each other, and that they all occasionally aren’t smiling in photos with each other. That’s normal person behavior and I’m begging y’all to understand that.
I know this post probably isn’t going to be seen by the weirdo people who need to see it the most, but whatever. I just really needed to get this off my chest.

I’m thinking about writing a Sally Sparrow/Tenth Doctor fanfic, so naturally I went and rewatched “Blink” tonight for the millionth time to get some inspo, and you know what kills me?
All the little details we don’t get. All the little stories that played out without us seeing.
Kathy getting zapped back to 1920’s Hull, directly in front of the cow farmer who will become not only her first friend in the strange new town she now has to call home, but also eventually her husband. When Kathy awakes in the night with her heart pounding and tears streaming down her cheeks, and simply chokes out “the angels…I dreamt about the angels again”, his arms are always there to comfort her. The dreams slowly subside over time as she adjusts to her new life, and soon there are other, more important things to worry about. Some good, like the birth of their children, and some bad, like the war. But Kathy survives and lives a full life, as do her husband and children, and with every picture she continually insists upon taking—one every time they have enough money to afford it—she thinks of her friend Sally Sparrow.
There’s also poor, lovely Billy Shipton, transported back to 1969 London—probably by the same Angel that sent the Doctor and Martha there. He’s just as unmoored as Kathy is, but—as strange as this Doctor guy seems to be—Billy finds himself liking him in a weird way. He makes a point to become Billy’s first friend in 1969, and he and his friend Martha help get Billy not only a place to live, but also a job working in publishing (even though Billy can’t figure out how the Doctor possibly managed to forge those papers that spoke to his “extensive expertise” in the field, or why he is so insistent upon splicing several videos of him talking in jargon into a bunch of completely unrelated DVDs once Billy moves into video production). Martha sets Billy up with a pretty girl named Sally who always comes into the shop where she works, and a few months later, the Doctor attends their wedding. Billy tries to find him afterwards at the reception to say thank you, but he’s already gone, leaving behind only a simple envelope inscribed “for the bride and groom”. It contains a pound note hefty enough to get Billy and his new wife off to a good start in their marriage, and simple card inscribed with a wedding blessing, written in a script and language neither of them can read.
The next time Billy does see the Doctor is many years later, when he’s old and grey, lying bedridden in a nursing home. Billy had never truly believed the Doctor’s claims of being an alien, but when he sees the same skinny, dark-haired young man walking across the room towards him—looking exactly as he had in 1969—he can’t help but cry in the midst of his wonder. The man who calls himself the Doctor is still a mystery, but as he pulls up a chair next to Billy’s bed and takes the latter’s outstretched hand, he’s as kind as he always was. He offers his condolences when Billy tells him of the passing of his wife, and smiles at the photos Billy shows him of his children, carefully dodging Billy’s question of whether or not he ended up having children of his own. But then he grows silent and his gaze grows sad as he looks out the window at the storm clouds brewing in the sky. “I’m sorry, Billy, I’m afraid I didn’t just come here to visit,” he says, and his voice is laced with a guilt and sorrow so deep that it sounds centuries old. “It’s time.” For a second Billy thinks he sounds close to crying for some reason, so he puts his wrinkled hand on the Doctor’s shoulder gently. “It’s okay.” he insists, giving him a soft smile. “This means I’ll finally get to see her again.”

A short rant regarding David Tennant, Michael Sheen, and their respective partners
Just started re-watching Staged a few days ago to celebrate finals being done and when I went in the tags to see other people talking about it…wow, was I in for a rude awakening!
Obviously the show is everyone playing heavily exaggerated versions of themselves, but the sheer amount of unhinged-ness that people were expressing in the tags was INSANE. The fact that there are people out there who either 1) just plain hate David’s wife Georgia, and 2) think David is secretly in love with Michael and that each of their respective partners are just FWB (despite both couples having multiple children) are quite frankly appalling.
I wasn’t around much in the Doctor Who fandom when people were rabid about wanting David and Billie Piper together so maybe this isn’t a new thing but Jesus…I was just shocked at how incredibly delusional and strange some people can be.
All this is to say, I firmly believe—based upon everything that I’ve seen—that David and Georgia seem to be very happy together and the same goes for Michael and Anna, and that David and Michael are close friends. Anyone suggesting otherwise and wanting to shame their wives/partners for roping them into “loveless” relationships (and having children as a way to “manipulate” them into staying) can very kindly fuck right off. All the sources people seem to be citing don’t add up and it’s clear (at least to me) that it’s people who largely just hate Georgia for being married to David and Anna for keeping Michael from being with David romantically.
Anyway, this is completely random but I just felt like it needed to be said. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Headcanons about what Fourteen does once he moves in with Donna’s family
Gets bored after approx 48 hours and decides he’s going to get a job to “help support the family”. Donna has to bail him out of a job interview gone wrong when he keeps trying to insist he has “900 years of on-the-job experience” and tells him to just rest for awhile.
After a week of Rose begging him to take just a short, secret trip in the TARDIS—just so she can really know what Mars looks like for her class project—the Doctor sneaks her out and they fly off in the TARDIS. Donna can’t even find it in herself to be mad anymore when she looks in Wilf’s telescope and sees her daughter smiling in the door of the TARDIS with the Doctor standing proudly behind her, as they fly home.
To give him something to do, Donna decides to give the Doctor the weekly shopping list to pick up at the store…until he starts calling her every other minute asking “but what kind of ice cream do you want?” “I dunno, just pick one” “DONNA THERE ARE 20 DIFFERENT FLAVORS”
The Doctor uses the sonic to renovate the shed to make it bigger on the inside, and one time Donna goes out to get him for dinner and promptly screams as she falls into the massive swimming pool right inside the door, as the Doctor sits in a lounge chair sipping a glass of wine and laughing at her

i will now be needing david tennant to appear as an extra at least once a series.
like he’s never in the action, he’s just walking down the street or getting groceries while the (main) doctor runs past in a frenzy. he might look after them for a second, but then he’ll just go back to texting donna about what kind of ice cream rose wants.
