What a difference 43 years makes juxtaposition of Mercedes-Benz T-Class, 1980 & Mercedes-Benz E-class Estate, 2023. The long-roof variant of the Br 214 series E-class has been revealed. Mercedes-Benz first series-production station wagon was the W123 series which used the T for touring model designation. The T was dropped when the mid-range model was re-designated as the E-class during the 1990 with the W124 series. This becomes the 7th consecutive generation of Mercedes-Benz estates
Volvo 262 C, 1977, by Bertone. The 262C was coachbuilt by Bertone in Turin, though it had been styled by Volvo designer Jan Wilsgaard. Powered by the PRV V6 shared with Peugeot and Renault it was based on the 262 but with a lowered roofline, it remained on sale until 1981.
