I asked an irl friend and explained the fic and they laughed and said "that's the slowest burn, that's slower burn that I'm usually willing to read" I'm learning so much about romance

okay I'm not educated on this topic, what's considered slow burn?? I don't write romance much/ever, and initially I didn't think my papyrus/reader fic was slow burn, but I'm 11 chapters in and neither of them even have crushes on the other and I don't know at what point it's slow burn/not slow burn LOL

It'll be another 3 chapters or so until the romance is even introduced, and I'm beginning to think this might be slow burn... but I don't know

i had a dream i was playing undertale and i got to the snowy area and it was mostly the same but papyrus was replaced with this new character Prunsel.

Prunsel’s sprite was a high-contrast black and white photorealistic eyeball, roughly twice as big as papyrus, and looking directly at the viewer. whenever Prunsel “spoke”, the music completely cut out and instead of text it was an ominous red glow emanating from the text box

Random Strange Facts:

Papyrus is the only character to speak without an asterisk

Papyrus’s dialogue shakes on a consistent basis when no one else’s does

Papyrus is described as “forgettable,” something only mentioned elsewhere in context with Goner Kid and Gaster
