as much as i am a fan of watcher, i also feel like their decision has made them unappealing to their international audience (me included). to pay $6 for a streaming service, that currently produces a video a week seems so unnecessary in comparison to other financial expenses. $6 in my currency could equate to 2 meals, or 2 cups of coffee which i could use for studying. in the grand scheme of things, subscribing to watcher does not seem appealing.
with that, watcher could have chosen to partner with other streaming services to make subscriptions more appealing. but if the service only provides just the current content they produce now, it seems so out of touch to think fans would likely support the move.
too sweet by hozier is matt murdock coded in a sense that you just know he would rather drink his worries away than be with a partner that tells him he deserves kindness and softness
The way Matt Murdock thinks of himself and his need to be Daredevil makes me so sad.
He thinks he's got the devil in him because he's so violent when really it's empathy that drives him. Empathy for the good people of Hell's Kitchen that are being hurt and not getting help due to deep-rooted corruption (and other things).
He doesn't feel that he needs to attack, but that he needs to protect and there's such a fundamental difference between the two that it's heartbreaking that Matt himself can't see it.
