Part 2 of my selkie au as you guys seemed to like it

(im definitely gonna write this as a fanfic now!)

yellow is writing another letter to her mother about her recent travels and seeing the selkie, she notices pink diamond and steven by the sea sitting not far from her.

Pink is very sad and wishes she could return to blue but is too scared to tell steven that who's asking her why she's so upset.

Behind a rock, blue transforms into a human and speaks with pink, they're very emotional to see eachother, yellow sees this and thinks maybe that pink diamond was the other selkie blue was speaking about

As blue and pink continue speaking greg appears and asks pink who blue is, blue gets really scared and wants to leave, she fears he'll steal her coat and force her to be human like pink.

Yellow diamond appears and distracts blue from greg, pink and her family walk away and blue thanks yellow for making them leave

Blue is now more comfortable around yellow now and talks to her more. They spend hours at the beach getting to know each other.

Now it's night and yellow wants to go to the house she's currently staying in, she says blue can come and tomorrow she can take her around to show her not all humans are bad, blue nervously agrees but only if yellow doesn't take away her coat

(Alright here's part 2 of this au idea, I will be turning this into a full fanfic, message me if you'd like to work on it with me😊, ngl I planned this and more all night I'm so happy it seems some of you liked this idea)

Random bellow diamond song of the sea/selkie au idea I came up with last night

(I'm writing a super long fanfic but might also write this at the same time since I have nothing else to do)

So here's the stupid idea I made

Yellow diamond is a sailor who travels the world and always lives by the sea, she's currently in a place similar to beach city (she's constantly moving so will be gone soon)

one night when she's by the sea she sees blue diamond transform to her human form from her seal form and tries to speak with her, this scares blue diamond who quickly transforms again and goes back in the ocean.

Yellow diamond spends a couple nights wondering about blue and trying to find her again, she spends a long time just waiting by the sea, during this blue is also wondering about yellow and scared she'll tell people about her.

when travelling back to where she first met yellow, blue turns back into a human and meets yellow again, this time yellow didn't see her transform.

Blue and yellow start to talk, blue tries to convince yellow she didn't transform and is just a normal person but yellow isn't convinced (she'd heard of selkies from her mother who's white diamond)

To test if blue's actually a selkie yellow touches her white seal skin coat to see how blue will react, blue freaks out and starts to panic and cry thinking yellow will steal it and comes clean about everything, begging for yellow to not take her coat.

yellow apologises but doesn't want blue to go and tries to ask questions about selkies, blue tries to escape and go back to the ocean but sees other humans nearby so can't transform, leaving her to have to talk to yellow.

Blue tells yellow her sister (pink diamond) was also a selkie but had her seal skin taken by a human so was forced to live as a human, this made blue scared of all other humans, yellow tries to promise blue she won't do that but she doesn't believe and swims away again.

(There will be much more bellow stuff this would only be the first couple chapters I have some more lore planned but I'll see what you guys think about it)

I'm obsessed with this au now

Even thought of an AU of the diamonds being Greek gods?

Well....not Greek but Western, it was one of my very first Au, where White was a god 👍

Summary of this Au (if you're interested)

I didn't name this Au :)

In this universe there was a place, a place for good creatures who have died and it is also the residence of the supreme god (White), she initially created Black (oc) in the hope that she would be the one succeeded her later, but Black was impatient so she tried to kill White to take her power. But White was originally a god, so she quickly defeated Black and Black was banished to a place for bad people (aka hell).

Later, when her anger subsided, White created a new heir, Yellow. Black creates a devil, Blue, and wants her to kill everything White created (including Yellow).

Many thousands of years later, White decided to create a new angel, Pink, to take care of the souls. But instead of studying hard to work later, she was playful, flying back and forth between planets and then fell in love with Earth. From then on, she always sneaked to Earth to play with humans (disguised as humans).

Black knew so she sent Blue to kill Pink. When Blue saw Pink from afar, she used her power to prepare to kill Pink, when a voice said: "There you are" causing Blue to stop and look in the direction of the voice, that was also the voice. was the first time Blue met Yellow. And, she fell in love at first sight (Yellow is very beautiful in this au :3)

As for Yellow, after discovering that Pink was not in her room, she went looking and felt an unusual dark energy. Ran over and saw Pink nearby, but she remained calm and called Pink when the energy disappeared. After observing and seeing nothing, she took Pink home (Blue had already left).

From then on, every time Pink sneaks down to earth to play, Blue will always hide around, just to see Yellow:3. But if the person who comes is not Yellow but another angel, she will kill them (other angels, not Pink). White soon felt strange so she asked Yellow to find out the reason. And when Yellow comes around, Blue shows up (she was following Yellow the whole time) they have a fight.

(This is actually an Au I created for Bellow, not really a slasher) XD

In the Pink part, after being discovered many times, of course she was punished and had to stay in her room. Because she didn't like being locked up, so she try to leave, but was caught again. This time, White got angry and took away her pair. Pink's wings. At the same time, she ordered her to be locked in prison, then later,Pearl (a low-level angel serving Pink) help Pink escape the prison and leave the paradise land.

From then on Pink stayed on earth and lived in human form until Black discovered her. Black sent another demon to kill Pink. When Yellow returned and heard the news, she immediately went looking for Pink, and found her cold body. Yellow thinks the devil who killed Pink is Blue so she hates Blue, but because she has no evidence, she can't do anything....

Later, Blue learned why Yellow hated her, so she got angry at Black and left. Blue then explained it to Yellow again. After much persuasion, Yellow believed and no longer hated Blue. She goes to find Pink's real killer and destroy that demon. Later, the two started talking and Yellow realized that Blue wasn't really evil, but because she possessed great evil power, everyone thought she was evil....

They gradually secretly became friends... at this point I stop the Au :)))

Maybe I will redraw this Au and post it later :b

just a little ramble about inspiration:

i sometimes get burnt out when im only doing original art so its nice to do fanart every now and then. i was such a big steven universe fan back in the day, it was such a big inspiration for me as a young artist. i lost interest years ago but it still is important to me, just as important to me as invader zim, adventure time, regular show, and all of the other cartoons that were formative for me.

i think some day soon we are due for a steven universe renaissance, where we re-evaluate what worked, what didnt, and its cultural impact in a nuanced way (LILY ORCHARD WHEN I GET YOU). i hope with the SU renaissance, people start making gemsonas again. that was my absolutely favorite part of being in the fandom, gemsonas were what make me take character design seriously.

enough of my sappy ramblings, i also like steven universe bc the diamonds are morally fucked up milfs, and thats how i like my women.

Would she have saved Spinel from her psychotic break, and if so, at what price? Would Blue have bubbled Spinel, and would Spinel have been better off spared of any further suffering?
