when i tell y'all my heart always shatters hearing alu's broken sobs during this scene . . . crispin freeman, you did my baby justice. give this man an oscar.

and the way everyone who is witness to his tears looks on in sadness and disbelief, because tears are the very last thing you would expect from him, especially in the moment of an enemy's defeat. not only does alucard mourn anderson because he always held a significant amount of respect, but anderson's choice of turning his back upon humanity + his death was also a symbol of alucard's dream coming to an end. to be defeated by a human hand. he no longer desired to live an eternal regret, and he saw anderson as one of the main gateways for his curse to finally be put to rest.

alucard versus anderson will always be one of the greatest and most complex rivalries in anime history for me, and this clip alone explains why.

i think there’s something particularly evil about that “in defense of bioshock infinite” essay glossing over indigenous voices. because these (totally valid) critiques about booker’s character are likely coming from people who have spoken to an indigenous person. (can you guess who?) also surprisingly, there are native bioshock fans. there are people who can point out how tasteless and insensitive the use of wounded knee is in infinite. because its integral to their identity as an indigenous person, its a need to correct the community’s (overall american’s) misconception of that event, and once again (proven by your local “american sioux”) showcases the constant ignorance this fandom has towards native tragedies. yeah call me a fucking pussy because “wounded knee cant hurt you” but when youre 86 miles away from the greatest american injustice itself and another 160 miles from the largest us mass hanging of 38 native men. it gets personal. anyway, i will make a longer post about this later. not towards them in detail, but honestly this entire fandom and their lack of empathy towards natives.

I usually don’t make posts like this, but I’m in a really bad spot. My name is Carlos, I’m an 18 year old disabled artist. Yesterday, My grandmother, who I’ve been living with for maybe two months now, informed me she was kicking me out.  She gave me no reason, telling me that me not understanding why was even more reason to kick me out. My phone charger has just broken, meaning that I can no longer call or contact a lot of the people I need to contact, and I don’t have the money to buy anything I need, as she has decided I am no longer allowed to use any of the items in the house, including the food I purchased for the house.

If anyone has some links for housing options that are open in Australia, or knows anyone in South Australia, in the Adelaide area, who is willing to rent a room to me, please contact me ASAP.

My commissions are also open, and I’ll take any funds, no matter how small/.
