Welcome to the official blog for the webcomic 'Two Souls, One Mind' an Adventure/Comedy/Fantasy series.

This is where I (@palegalestudios) will be updating my webcomic, posting here as well as three(?) other platforms. I'll also be posting on Instagram, which is under the @/tsomwebcomic username, and (possibly) TikTok (still deciding).

This is for my comic ONLY! If you wanna see other tsom related stuff, like the ask blog, you can find it on my main blog (which I have tagged above).

A synopsis:

"We're told that legends and creatures of myth are just stories... Stories you tell to your children, or your friends.

But... what if they were real. What if there were two other races, creatures that we know from myth and... magical celestial beings, that lived with humans and were sealed away before the beginning of Ancient Greece.

Follow best friends Matt and Danny, and their new mythical friends, as they uncover this world in the modern day and try to stop it from disappearing forever, while also handling their own magical potential"

I have a lot planned for this story, and have been working on it for the past 3(ish) years now. I can't wait for you guys to watch all these characters get up to shit, while trying to save magic.

Quickly, just some basic boundaries:

I'm absolutely ok with fanart and fanfiction. In fact, tag me! I love to see the stuff!

With that being said, I'm also ok with headcannons and theories, as LONG as it doesn't ignore actual character and story cannon too much

The only acceptation to the rules above is anything NSFW. For my own peace of mind, keep it to the characters that are OF AGE!! (looking at you, you fucking pedo and proshipping creeps), but please don't tag me or show me... at all. In fact, don't show anyone else. I can't stop y'all, but PLEASE keep that to yourself, and in private. If I find out that y'all are using this to be weird with others I STFG, I WILL END YOU! /NEG

I don't wanna see ANYTHING weird or creepy towards me, my story, or anyone who interacts with this blog. I will fucking block you, don't test me, and I encourage others to do the same.

This is a safe space! I don't wanna see any bullying, racism, or any phobia towards the lgbtqia+ community, at ALL! Again, you will be Blocked!

If you do feel unsafe and I haven't done anything, possibly because I didn't see it (my notif feed is fucked so I miss a lot of stuff), pls reach out and I will sort it out :]

Please be patient. I'll try to update this comic at least once a fortnight (starting FEB 2024), but I can't guarantee that. So don't fill my inbox with "where's the next part?!" or "are you alive?!" I am alive, and unlike most people, I HAVE a life where I'm not at the screen 24/7 so... (I mean that in a light hearted way, but seriously don't @ me for the next part. It will come when it comes)

Intro Post!

Hi, I'm Kate! I live in Washington State and use She/Her pronouns (that last part may change someday though, we'll see lol).

My interests include:

Movies: Almost all Studio Ghibli films, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Holdovers, House (1977), Both Spiderverse movies, Nope, The Thing, Akira, Heathers, Iron Giant, Lilo and Stitch, Bottoms, Coraline, E.T., Carrie, Del Toro's Pinocchio, Labyrinth, and so many more!

TV Shows: Community, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Fiona and Cake, Last Airbender, Madoka Magica, Blue Eye Samurai, Parks and Rec, The Bear, The Simpsons, Moral Oral, Bob's Burgers, and Mythic Quest.

Video Games: The Zelda franchise, the first three Paper Mario games, Hades, Undertale, Deltarune, Detention, Devotion, Ace Attorney, and Professor Layton.

Musicals: Hadestown, Falsettos, Matilda the Musical, Into the Woods, and Fiddler on the Roof.

Music: Mitski, Gorillaz, Childish Gambino, Marina, The Mountain Goats, Nirvana, Jack Stauber, Tracy Chapman, Death Cab For Cutie, Marvin Gaye, Weezer, The Smiths (screw Morrissey though), Hemlocke Springs, and TV Girl.

Other facts about me: I lived in Germany for a while, I'm an aspiring writer, and I'm an INFP.

Some stuff to know before you follow: I'm autistic, so if we dm and I end up rambling a lot about one of my interests I apologize if that gets to be a bit much. Also I sometimes talk about media or ships I dislike on this blog, so you can just block the "#anti (insert media or ship here)" tag if you don't wanna see that stuff. Please don't yell at me for any opinions on fictional stuff, and especially don't use any of my posts as inspiration to go harass anyone.

No because that anon was so rude and for what— anon let's face it the boys are literally more popular than the females and almost everyone I see in the fan base has made it clear they prefer male over the females 💀it's funny how the anon told you to try and consider that your writing is trash when the anon hasn't even tried considering to just block you if they don't wanna see you talk about being sad your works get less interaction...

I just want to say to content consumers, if someone talks about how their work gets less attention PLEASE know that these people are trying their best and only want people to enjoy their content as much as others enjoy the popular ones— it's discouraging sometimes when we get less notes because we think nobody likes our work so as much as possible please interact with that creator and tell them all the things you enjoyed, you can like, you can reblog JUST interact with them since even small things like that is already enough. “Oh, but those popular creators also worked hard this also means that they should work hard to get noticed.” yes that is correct, popular content creators started from nothing and worked hard but this doesn't mean it's not hard not being noticed. Remember that content creators are actual people with feelings.

Anyway Kk, to me it doesn't really matter if your writing is garbage or anything, what matters is that you take this as motivation to improve yourself and prove this anon wrong!! It's really hard writing for the girls :') but to be honest I'm really glad there are people writing for them, continue doing what you love and remember to always take breaks!! I believe you can reach more notes and more followers!!

Something I recommend you to do is to reblog your work with the same tags you used as the original post! Sometime it requires you to do this more than once but I think it's worth it since more people get to see your work!!

Anyway this has gotten pretty long, but I believe you can do it‼️

omg ty for articulating my thoughts about the whole popularity thing between guys and girls. it's true i am just trying my best here and i appreciate each and every note that ive gotten on all of writings but i just want my headcannons and fics to receive the same amount of love, you know?
