Please tell me all the things about cruise AU! (If that's stumping you at the moment, I would also love any thoughts you have about shelterverse - because I'm stumped!)

cruise ship au, oh I have so many of this if only I could get it out

— no matter what on board management say, yuta and danny definitely don’t sleep with the guests. okay, they do, but not that many, okay, and it’s only because those month long cruises can get lonely, and you should under no circumstances, sleep with your coworkers.

— they have to be on their best behaviour on this particular trip, though, because brother in law to the owner of the cruise line, mr regal, is making the trip with his associates, mox, bryan and claudio, and any bad behaviour that gets back to the owner would be sure to get them fired.

— yuta and danny try their hardest, honestly, to be on their best behaviour. but regal is a flirt who keeps requesting yuta when he requires assistance, and bryan thinks danny should know more about yoga if he’s going to be the one to lead the yoga classes.

— before long, yuta and danny have found themselves, quite literally, in bed with the most important guests on the ship and trying to be very discreet about it. it doesn’t help that their bosses are being extra vigilant of their movements because of their track record — queue lots of awkward hiding in tiny cruise ship closets and rapid speed dressing when their boss is hot on their heels whenever they’re around their important guests.

shelterverse because I still have so much love for this

— bryan is totally over nigel. he really is. he doesn’t get any feelings whatsoever when they have to team up to take on a difficult rescue. it’s not like nigel looks good in his utility pants and polo shirt, on his hands and knees trying to coax a kitten out from under an abandon building.

— the rest of their respective crews have a bet going as to when they’ll end up fucking. well, mox thinks they’ll fuck, sami thinks they’ve fall back in love and kevin really just wants some peace and quiet so he can finish balancing the books

— a potential adopter has a bunch of cats, and bryan is hesitant to send a dog to a home with so many cats, so nigel goes along to help bryan assess the situation and whether the home is suitable. road trip fun! bickering, hashing out old arguments, and maybe a kiss and heavy petting happens.

Sorry this is so late!

I think an unpopular (but correct) food opinion I have is that chocolate belongs in the fridge when your kitchen is warm (more than ten degrees).

My top five women’s matches are a tad predictable as I only really got into wrestling in the last year and a half or so but:

Any of Jamie Hayter’s matches (I know this is a bit of a cop out but I really like her and would watch her wrestle her way out of a bin bag if it came to that)

Hi Emi! Jen asked me to put together a crash course in Adam Cole stuff, and since you are a known Adam Cole enjoyer, I was wondering if you had any go-to matches or promos to introduce someone to everyone's favorite possum.

ohhhhh man. pretty much any takeover match he’s in is a favorite of mine. i didn’t actually watch nxt or roh during the times he was in it, so i can’t really tell you about talking segments? but i think the takeovers are really good. and his two matches with hangman in 2022. i also really enjoyed the match with hangman in roh, which should be on youtube. those are the main ones i can think about. i hope this is enough?

Penny for your thoughts on the Elite's comeback or the next AEW champion after Mox?

Ooooh. I'm fairly sure (along with everyone here) that they are going to be challenging for the trios belts at Full Gear (they'd bloody better be, I've bought the damn pape). But now I'm intrigued over next week's Dynamite with the trios match announced.

I'm looking forward to their return ngl, not just because I have a bit of a thing for them, but because I love their style of wrestling. The first wrestlers I was drawn to (imprinted on 🤔) were Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels, I loved the Rockers and adore the high flying stylee. Plus I have a weakness for brats 🤣.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they plan to do and the next part of their story, especially as they are going to have to adapt it to the loss of Hangman.

I think they are going to return to a mega pop, and are likely to be baby-faced regardless as to their actual behaviour. Look at MJF, he's doing his best to continue as a heel, but the crowd isn't having it, so he's having to do the tweener thing (or "morally ambiguous baby face"). And if they do pop out next week, the roof is going to blow off the building.

Next AEW champion is probably going to be MJF. And it's going to be very interesting, he's not going to be a regular fighting champion and I can see him insisting on stipulations and tournaments etc before people get a shot at him. As an aside, if he does win, then he will have "bettered" Piper in winning the top belt at one of the two promotions. Piper has said that not winning the WWF belt was unfinished business.

If the Firm cost Max the match, I'm going to be quite cross. We don't need another "fighting through a collective to get the prize" story. Stick the strap on Max and let Mox go fishing 😃 Also by having a champ who rarely fights, it gives the rest of the roster time to shine.

anyway, here we are! bobby/kyle, “Oh, no. There’s only one bed. Whatever shall we do now?” set sometime in 2013!

The world is a cruel, cruel mistress. Kyle has been doing absolutely fine hiding his stupid little crush on his tag team partner from said tag team partner, but God, that’s really being tested right now, as he stands looking over Bobby’s shoulder at the tiny, crappy hotel bed. Bed being singular. Because there’s only one fucking bed.

“Oh, no. There’s only one bed. Whatever shall we do now?” Bobby just laughs, throwing his bag down onto the floor and walking over to the bed, sitting on the end of it to take his shoes off. They’ve just finished up a show, defending the belts and coming away the victors, and they’re tired and sore and the last thing they need is to be fighting with the hotel management about getting a different room, or waiting for a cot that will most certainly fold up while one of them sleeps on it. But it’s not like. It’s not like they can share it, right? That doesn’t even look like a full double.

“I could take the bathtub? I’m sure there’s more sheets and pillows somewhere in the closet?” Kyle’s not going to say it but Bobby’s older than him, and he needs the bed more than he does.

“What? No. The bed’s big enough for the two of us, Ky.” Bobby says, and that, god Kyle loves when Bobby gives him nicknames. Sometimes it’s Ky, a couple of times he’s gone all out and said ‘kylie wiley’ as a joke but Kyle would kill anyone else who tried to call him it. Bobby sometimes calls him babe, too. And that. Well Kyle gets all warm and fuzzy when he does that, and it’s normally accompanied by a hand on the back of his neck, Bobby checking if he’s had something to drink, that he doesn’t need a snack or he’s taken his meds.

Bobby’s good like that, he’s so good. As soon as he told Bobby about his diabetes Bobby made sure that he knew the basics, that he was okay before and after a match, and he checks up on him throughout the day. It’s not like Kyle needs it, and he huffs at anyone else who tries to smother him when it comes to his condition, but it’s nice when Bobby looks after him. So he lets him do it.

“Oh…” Kyle says when Bobby says they can share the bed. Because. What? It’s not a huge bed, and Kyle’s sure that Bobby doesn’t want to give up the opportunity to have the bed all to himself. “Are you sure? I swear I don’t mind putting some sheets in the bathtub or something. I could call the front desk and see if—“

“Absolutely not. Get in the bed, Kyle. Tag team partners can share a bed.” Bobby says, and he’s stripping his shirt off, then his shorts, and Kyle’s honestly trying not to stare. It’s not like he hasn’t seen Bobby shirtless before, or even in his boxers, they share a locker room and they fucking wrestle together, but, this is different. Normally Kyle will take the bathroom and get ready for bed in there, and by the time he’s done, Bobby is usually already under the covers in his own bed. So this, this is different, because Bobby is stripping to get in bed and Kyle’s going to have to do the same and get under the covers. With Bobby.

So Kyle does. He goes to the bathroom and messes around for entirely too long to be normal. He showered after the match so he can’t even use that as an excuse, takes ages brushing his teeth, checks his sugars. When he can’t hide in the bathroom any longer, Kyle steps out into the bedroom, his eyes falling instantly onto Bobby, who’s laying out on top of the sheets with his phone in one hand, the other absentmindedly running over his chest.

“Was beginning to think you’d fallen down the plug hole or something, you okay, Ky?”

“Yeah,” Kyle says easily, and he dumps his wash bag next to his bag and gets onto the bed as casually as he can. It’s not like he hasn’t shared a bed with someone before. He’s done it so many times, he and Adam used to always share because it was all they could afford. But Adam is different. He can cuddle Adam in the middle of the night and it not be a problem. But this is Bobby. He can’t ruin what they have by waking up spooning his tag team partner who he maybe has a huge crush on.

“You want me to put this pillow down the centre?” He says once he’s laid out, picking up one of the pillows and setting it down between them.

Bobby picks it up and smacks him with it. “What kinda insecure jackasses you been sharing beds with babe? Jesus. Now, come here. You checked your sugars? You all good?” Bobby rolls over and — he fucking spoons him. Just slots himself right up behind Kyle, throws an arm over his waist and hooks his chin over his shoulder. And god that’s nice. That’s so fucking nice. Bobby’s warm and he smells so good, and his body fits against Kyle’s like it was meant to be there.

“Y-yeah, yeah I’m good. I’m — yeah, I’m great.” Kyle babbles just a little bit, and he tries not to wiggle back, to feel Bobby’s dick press against his ass anymore because that would be — that would be crossing the line. It’s just a little harmless cuddling, right? Bobby’s just being nice. Making light of the situation, there’s only one bed and there’s no need to make it awkward! That’s all it is. Bobby’s good at making Kyle not feel awkward.

Except, Bobby’s dick is most definitely against his ass, and he can feel him, thick and — a little hard, and Kyle could just, push back, and feel more of it. Bobby’s body is a wonder, all thick and hard and toned, and he wants to get his hands on it, worship it, kiss and bite and lick and suck at his skin.

Kyle tries to shake those thoughts from his head, because he can feel his own dick taking interest, and he doesn’t need Bobby to know that, even though his hand is so so close to it, he could just move his fingers a few inches and they’d brush Kyle’s dick and realise that it’s thickening up, that he’s really enjoying the feel of Bobby holding him like this, pressed up against him.

Kyle stays still, tries so hard to just fall asleep, because that’s the only thing that’s going to help in this situation, but his mind is racing, hard beating fast, and his body is aching from the way he’s tensing up to try and not push back on Bobby.

“Kyle?”

Bobby’s voice rumbles all the way down Kyle’s back, and it’s warm and syrupy against his ear.

“Yeah?”

“Can I kiss you?” Bobby drawls, and he slides his hand up Kyle’s chest to cup his jaw.

And that’s. Oh. Oh god. Bobby wants to kiss him, Bobby Fish wants to kiss him and he’s got a hand on his jaw and his face is so fucking close and —

“Yeah. Yeah, Bobby, please—“

Bobby kisses him. His lips are soft and warm and he can taste mint on his tongue from his mouthwash. Bobby’s hand is cradling his jaw, and the other is settled on Kyle’s belly, snaked underneath him, stretching Kyle against him, like he’s soft and pliable.

“Been waiting to do that for a while.” Bobby murmurs against his mouth, and Kyle keens just a little bit at the thought of Bobby waiting, wanting to kiss him and waiting to ask, waiting for the right moment.

“Oh… can I… can I kiss you?” Kyle asks then, because he wants to ask too. Wishes he’d have known and had the balls to ask earlier.

“Of course, babe.” Bobby smiles, and Kyle rolls until he’s on top, and Bobby’s got his hands on Kyle’s hips, looking up at him like he’s some sort of beautiful piece of art. And Kyle feels like he is, on top of Bobby, pressed all up against him, skin to skin.

Kyle leans down to kiss him, bracketing Bobby’s head in with his arms. It’s soft and slow, but Bobby’s hands slide over him, up his spine and down his sides, squeezing him and pinching him and exploring, until Kyle’s a whimpering mess above him. He’s hard, and Bobby’s hard, and their dicks are rubbing together through the thin material of their boxers.

“B-Bobby…”

“That’s it sweetheart, just like that, take what you want.” Bobby says to him softly, and he’s rutting up against Kyle now, grinding them together, and Kyle’s losing his mind, hands fisted into the sheets next to Bobby’s head, a few beads of sweat trickling down the back of his neck.

TOO MUCH ELITE INVOLVEMENT BAYBEEEEE

i'm one of like. three people total on this site who does not give a shit about any of the elite lmao and if that's not enough to make you keep scrolling, the rest is under the cut

i would LOVE a clear explanation of why redragon would ever willingly team up with the bucks! who they HATE!! (granted, after recent events we may get more insight into this as i assume they will now reveal that it was all an elaborate plan to eventually backstab them which is the ONLY way it makes sense, but it took far too long to get to this point primarily due to go-nowhere booking whilst waiting for kenny's presumed return and the trios titles to be introduced)

in addition to that, the last time redragon saw adam was either in 2017 roh or 2021 nxt depending on what is "canon" in aew - both of which were not, let's say, on the best of terms.

not just for kyle, who obviously was fresh off blood feuds with adam both times, but also for bobby. (yes yes i know most of the iwc think he's older than time itself and is the worst wrestler in the history of wrestling but he's part of all this too <3 so sorry to remind u that rdgn have been a tag team for 10 years and so sorry to remind u that he was in ue from the start <3) who himself feuded with adam in 2017 for the roh world title (sidenote: it's a fun feud and i would recommend checking out their match at manhatten mayhem, and bobby's promos because he's actually very good at them) and who should also have some major unresolved issues with adam due to the implosion of ue while bobby was sidelined due to that freak injury in their last war games match.

whilst there have been a couple of hints that maybe kyle doesn't fully trust adam this time (hopefully he's learned his lesson after 4 betrayals :/ ), it seems like that's going to be disregarded now for the inevitable elite vs ue super mega implosion showdown and then trios champs run, once adam and kyle are cleared. which has also unfortunately really put a damper on everything, but i'm not going to complain about that because it's not a Booking Choice lmao it's just... really shitty timing and injuries always suck

i know this part is very subjective and probably doesn't align with much of what ue fans as a whole enjoy, but i personally wanted to see redragon do their own thing for a while in the tag division before eventually reuniting with adam to have a proper ue run once some more time had passed.

overall, i just think that there have been too many extra people involved who ultimately don't really interest me, especially if they're making the elite the faces here. it's also taken too much of nothing happening to get to this point. why haven't we seen redragon be more dominant in the tag division in the build? how have they been established as credible threats, rather than adam's lackeys?

#also i think the fans who are only just being exposed to rdgn properly need to do some research into their pre-nxt stuff <3 #literally go watch their roh and njpw matches. even the handful of pwg appearances they had together. their post-roh pre-nxt indie bookings #some of it is quite literally available for free on youtube. its not at all difficult to find #because i think its important to be informed about them as a TEAM and not just. the lackey 2/3rds of ue.#answered #shes-a-voodoo-child
