#2019 Audi TT Specification
Text
2019 Audi TT Price and Release Date – Given birth to out of a passion for design, the original Audi TT made its Western first appearance in 1998. Audi celebrated the occasion by giving the model a series of updates within, outdoors, and beneath the page steel. Electronic Developments, on the other hand, celebrated the event by flying to the Isle of Man in the center of the Irish Ocean and driving the TT on the very roads it was named after.
Initially, a fast history session: NSU, a single of the car businesses that combined to create Audi as we realize it, earned the treacherous Vacationer Trophy held yearly on the Isle of Guy in 1954. The brand transformed the competition into a nameplate for the first time in the event it launched a moped named Rapidly TT in 1960, and once again on a hot-rodded variant of the rear-engined Prinz called 1000 TT in 1965. It spawned the 1000 TTS in 1967. The nameplate set dormant till Audi unveiled the TT Coupe concept at the 1995 Frankfurt auto show.

2019 Audi TT Exterior
To assist it standout as a newly renewed model, Audi states the 2019 TT’s exterior is “More manly, more progressive, and even sportier than prior to.” To the eyeballs, it doesn’t look all the various, but that’s okay – it’s still very the head-turner.
Regardless, the 2019 TT definitely requires its visual cues from the well-obtained Audi TT sports vehicle, otherwise recognized as the R8. It is a lot sharper, bolder, and more geometric than it had been in previous model years, and the up-dates definitely help to up the aggression aspect coming from all viewable angles.

2019 Audi TT Interior
Take on the 2019 Audi TT, and you will find a 2 2 design, with space for 2 passengers in advance, plus a small bench in the rear for an additional two travelers in a pinch. In advance, travelers will love energy adjustable seats, plus a good deal of support thanks to the sporty side bolsters and integrated head restraints, each of which come as regular. At the same time, the upgraded S sports seats that come with the S collection sports package include in much more support thanks to pneumatically adjustable side bolsters. Dealing with ahead, the dash design uses a wide side to side strategy, whilst a short main stack helps to keep the clutter to a minimal. Audi likes to call the design “driver-oriented,” which basically indicates the various components (like the air vents and hard control keys) are turned slightly to face the person in the hot seat, instead of straight back. What’s more, the aesthetic is meant to remember the world of aeronautics, with the instrument board shaped to look like the wing of an aircraft, and the different air vents shaped to appear like curved jet engines.

2019 Audi TT Driving Test
Audi dropped to offer any info on the 2019 TT’s engine package, but it is probably secure to believe the U.S.- spec model will carryover over the exact same elements as the preceding 2018 model. This means it will come with a standard 2.0-liter TFSI 4-cylinder rated at 220 horsepower between 4,500 rpm and 6,200 rpm, additionally 258 pound-ft of torque at 1,600 rpm. Put your feet lower, and it’ll strike 60 miles per hour in 5.3 seconds, topping out at an optimum speed of 130 mph.
Audi is also anticipated to offer an S model variant, which will add more productivity and more aggression, delivering the grand total to 292 hp between 5,400 and 6,200 rpm. Torque may also get an increase, with a maximum of 280 pound-feet developed among 1,900 and 5,300 rpm. The extra power will also decrease the 0-to-60 mph time down to 4.6 seconds while growing the best velocity to 155 mph.
2019 Audi TT Price and Release Date
Although Audi hasn’t released prices details for the 2019 TTS, its base price will remain close to the $52,950 demonstrated on 2018 model’s window sticker label. Out of this point, fanatics searching for a couple may go in several distinctly different directions. BMW’s M240i xDrive starts at $47,800. Porsche charges $56,900 to have an entry-degree 718 Cayman. Additionally, $46,595 purchases you a V8-driven Ford Mustang Bullitt. Decisions, decisions.

The Audi A7: History, Generations, Specifications
All things Audi A7 on Automobile.
Tumblr media
Audi A7 Essential History
If German naming conventions have you all twisted-up, understanding the Audi A7 is simple. Think of the A7 simply as a more elegant, stylish Audi A6, incorporating most (if not all) the A6's powertrain options and interior design. Make sense? We hope so, considering you've had eight model years to figure the A7 out. Launched globally in late 2010, Audi's swoopiest four-door didn't make it to the States until the 2012 model year, filling a Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class-sized gap in the automaker's lineup.
First-Generation Audi A7 แม่จำเนียร
Initially, Audi's ubiquitous 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 served as the only source of motivation, with 310 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque routed to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Soon after, the nerd-tastic 3.0-liter turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V-6 hit our shores, now offering 240 hp and a thick 428 lb-ft of torque through the same eight-speed automatic.
With a 0-60-mph run tested somewhere in the low five-second range and a top speed of 155 mph, the bog-standard A7 was hardly a slug, but the later S7 added an extra dollop of speed and performance onto the platform. As the A7 is to the A6, the S7 is essentially a rebodied S6 of the same generation, incorporating the S6's excellent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 and slick seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. A total of 420 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque are on tap, returning a 0-60-mph run in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. Model year 2016 saw updates across the board, with the A7 upgraded to 333 hp and the S7 to 450 hp. Along with extra power, the S7 also added upgraded suspension, brakes, tires, wheels, and interior components over the regular A7.
Still not enough? The mighty RS7 is one of the most potent of all Audi four-doors, boosting the S7's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 to 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The RS7's 0-60-mph dash takes just 3.7 seconds, while upgraded brakes—and optional carbon ceramics—and revisions to both chassis and aero improve braking and handling. Finally, for the truly power-mad (and wealthy), Audi's 2017 updates brought the debut of the RS7 Performance model, rated for 605 hp and 553 lb-ft and capable of 0-60-mph times in the low three-second range.
Second-Generation Audi A7
The second generation of A7 arrived for the 2019 model year, and landed with the newest variant of Volkswagen/Audi's MLBevo platform, a new turbocharged V-6 engine, and a 48-volt mild hybrid system. Stick with the A7, and you'll get a 3.0-liter that puts out 335 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque through all four wheels and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 0-60-mph dash takes 5.2 seconds, and top speed is limited to 130 mph.
By now, you should know how this goes. The second-gen S7 wasn't long behind the new A7, upping the ante with the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-6 pulled from the current RS5. This means 444 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic, cutting the 0-60-mph sprint time to 4.5 seconds, but keeping the top speed limited to 155 mph. Scarier still is the new RS7, packing an updated 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 with 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque that allows for a 0-60-mph scuttle in 3.5 seconds. Not convinced? Watch this space for the inevitable arrival of a new RS7 Performance.
Audi A7 Highlights
The effortlessly handsome Audi A7 wasn't the first fastback sedan, but it was one of the cars that established the segment alongside the groundbreaking Mercedes-Benz CLS, and the A7 remains a staple of Audi's lineup. The A7—and subsequent high-performance variants—aren't at the top of the Audi dogpile in either price or size, but the A7 family possesses some of the strongest aspirational pull and consumer recognition. For many, the RS7 is about as good as a modern four-door can get, both aesthetically and dynamically, and we can't say there isn't a kernel of truth in this. Better yet, even if you don't make the jump to the S7 or RS7, the regular bog-standard A7 is still one of the most luxurious and beautifully packaged vehicles on sale today.
Audi A7 Buying Tips
Figuring out which member of the A7 family to buy breaks down to what you want out of your style-forward German luxury car. If you're in the market for a reliable, trouble-free daily driver, go with a new A/S/RS7; there's little point pumping endless dollars into a second-hand A7 unless you're already a die-hard Audi enthusiast.
If you're OK with driving a used S7 or RS7 as a second or third car for long distance trips or medium-distance use around town, look for a strong maintenance record. If you can't find a good one or maybe can't afford one of the cleaner ones, we say keep walking—this is a case of pay now or pay big later.
When you do find a nice pre-owned example, have it checked out by a local Audi dealer or independent specialist to make sure there isn't anything insidious hiding under those sumptuous bodylines. If there are issues, you shouldn't have any trouble finding parts, however expensive they may be; Audi still provides factory support for A7s both old and new.

A Formula E racer’s 400bhp one-off Audi A1 is wild
Tumblr media
This is a 400bhp Audi A1 with a wide-body kit, and it is at this point that you don’t just suspend your belief from a very large height, more throw it into the sea. W, T, and indeed, F. It is the work of Abt; specifically, Daniel Abt, son of the founder of the eponymous tuning house. Daniel (who races for Audi’s Formula E team), initiated the entire project that, we’re told, required Abt’s “entire gamut of technical expertise”. Including beefing up that engine to stratospheric heights. And by beefing up, we of course mean binning it and fitting a different 2.0-litre TFSI petrol four-cylinder up front. A 2.0-litre TFSI from an Audi TT Cup racer, no less. This immediately boosted power to 310bhp – 340bhp with overboost – and initiated many hours of reprogramming and coding the ECU to achieve a nice, full 400bhp total. “I believe that’s more than sufficient for such a banger right there,” Daniel explains in this video. We are inclined to agree. There’s also a full stainless steel exhaust system with twin 114mm pipes and carbon tails. An “awesome” sound is promised. Again, we do not dispute this. Daniel slotted in H&R suspension springs, special Michelin tyres, and gave the interior a once-over with lots of special materials like Alcantara and leather, and a deleted rear bench. And a roll cage. The outside too, is rather special. Erik Aleksanjan was the designer responsible for the geometric pattern applied to this one-off A1; Erik also did Jon Olsson’s RS6. The wide-body kit is described as ‘free-standing’: the arches are phatter, the front, more diffuser-y, the back, filled with carbon wing. The passenger side of the car is red, while the drivers’ side is matt black. The wheels are 19in forged items with a gold ‘aero ring’ and leaf-shutter looks, in order to remind people that yes, Daniel does race a Formula E car. “It was the biggest project of 2019 which demanded a great deal of us,” explains Daniel. We won’t demand a great deal from you, other than to explain your feelings on this car in the space below. Read the full article

AUDI TT: A LIMITED EDITION "20 YEARS" ANNIVERSARY
Before being marketed, the Audi TT first appeared in 1995 in the form of a concept car at the Tokyo show: Audi TTS Roadster. The Audi TT 20 years echoes this "original TT" with finishes inspired by the style study of the time. Let's focus on this anniversary version that was presented in July 2018 during the restyling of the Audi TT range . At the beginning of the year, the Audi TT 20 Years is once again talking about her, including a video published by the German manufacturer (see end of article). On the program for this limited edition are the "Nano Gray" and "Silver Arrow" shades. The "Nano Gray" being the color of the 1995 TTS Roadster. The Audi TT 20 Years also benefits from Audi rings on its profile, Matrix OLED taillights, exclusive exhaust outlets in stainless steel as well as specific 19 "high-gloss wheels, not to mention the" Black Style Outdoor Pack " Audi exclusive ".
Tumblr media
AUDI TT: A LIMITED EDITION "20 YEARS" ANNIVERSARY
Recalling the TTS Roadster, the interior of the Audi TT 20 Years brings out a brown leather upholstery. The latter is supported by yellow stitching. In terms of engine, this version already promised a "future collector" is proposed with the 4-cylinder 2.0 l 45 TFSI of 245 horses for 370 Nm of torque. The quattro all-wheel drive is also topical, as is the S tronic 7 gearbox.
Finally, the Audi TT Coupe 20 Years starts from 64 900 € and, the price of the Audi TT Roadster 20 Years starts at 68 400 €. The French website dedicated to the booking of this anniversary model is already showing a good demand because very few copies are still available today.

The 21 Quickest Production Cars MotorTrend Tested in 2018
Every year MotorTrend instrument-tests more than 200 car, truck, and SUV variants in an attempt to evaluate every new vehicle on the market. From the most affordable subcompacts to the most expensive luxury cars, we drive them all. As December draws to a close, let’s take a look back at the quickest cars we tested in 2018—the 21-car sub-4.0-second club.
Read about the quickest cars we tested in 2017 right here.
21. 2018 Ford Mustang GT (3.9 sec)
We still prefer the manual version, but if you’re only interested in straight-line speed, the 10-speed automatic is the way to go. It’s also crazy to realize we live in a time when the Mustang GT is a sub-4.0-second car.
20. 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Wide Body (3.9 sec)
Take a Hellcat, add the Demon’s wider fenders, give it Demon-width tires, and you have a recipe for one seriously quick Challenger. It was even more impressive in the quarter mile, laying down a time of only 11.9 seconds.
19. 2017 Porsche Macan Turbo with Performance Pack (3.8 sec)
The Turbo version of any Porsche is going to be quick, but we were still impressed by how quickly the Performance Pack–equipped Macan Turbo accelerated. If only we could convince Porsche to offer a Macan Turbo S next.
18. 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera T (3.8 sec)
The 911 Carrera T doesn’t have any more power than the base 911, but that doesn’t matter. It’s a handling-focused bargain of a sports car that also happens to be one of the quickest cars we tested all year.
17. 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (3.8 sec)
Rear-wheel drive. 505 hp. 0–60 mph quicker than a wide-body Hellcat. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio really is a ridiculous car in the best ways possible.
16. 2019 Aston Martin Vantage (3.8 sec)
The Vantage’s new look might be controversial, but there’s no denying it’s a fantastic driver’s car. It might even be the best-handling Aston Martin we’ve ever driven. Thanks to an AMG-sourced V-8, it’s also seriously quick.
15. 2018 Porsche 718 Cayman GTS (3.6 sec)
The 718 Cayman S nearly won our 2017 Best Driver’s Car competition, and if the GTS had competed this year, it would have given the podium finishers a real run for their money. Oh, and it just so happens to be quicker than the Vantage.
14. 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (3.5 sec)
Like the Mustang GT, the Camaro ZL1’s automatic transmission is the one to get if you want to go fast in a straight line. But as quick as its 0–60 time is, its quarter-mile time of 11.5 seconds is even more impressive.
13. 2018 Audi TT RS (3.4 sec)
Yes, this Audi is built on the same platform as a Volkswagen Jetta, but don’t let that fool you. The TT RS is a real performance car. For proof, look no further than its AMG GT R–tying 0–60 time.
12. 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT R (3.4 sec)
AMG developed the GT R specifically to conquer the Nurburgring, but in the process, it also created a 577-hp monster that will run from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds. Well done.
11. 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Q4 Quadrifoglio (3.3 sec)
The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is bigger, heavier, and no more powerful than the Giulia. But the magic of all-wheel drive means it’s a full half second quicker to 60 mph than the Giulia. Consider us impressed.
10. 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Supercharged (3.3 sec)
If the Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee Trackhawk’s 0–60 time is exactly the same as the Stelvio’s, where does the extra 202 hp go? Quarter-mile times. The Trackhawk runs it in 11.7 seconds, 0.2 second quicker than the 1,200-pound-lighter Alfa.
9. 2018 Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor Performance (3.2 sec)
All-wheel drive and the instant torque of electric motors make for one heck of a combination. Despite not being nearly as quick as the Model S P100D, the Model 3 Performance can outrun an impressively long list high-performance cars.
8. 2017 Porsche 911 GTS (3.1 sec)
As much as we love the 911 T, there’s no denying the acceleration advantage the GTS has. The difference is even bigger over the quarter mile, where the GTS’ 11.3-second time is nearly a full second quicker than the T’s.
7. 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 (3.1 sec)
Like the AMG GT R, the 911 GT3 is built to lay down fast lap times. And like the GT R, that means it also accelerates incredibly quickly. The difference is the 911 GT3 is 0.3 second quicker to 60 mph.
6. 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic+ (3.0 sec)
If you’ve ever driven an AMG-badged E-Class, it should be no surprise that the 603-hp E 63 S is a top-10 finisher on this list. But what you might not expect is for the wagon variant to be 0.2 second quicker than the sedan.
5. 2018 BMW M5 (P Zero PZ4) (3.0 sec)
For the first time ever, the BMW M5 comes with all-wheel drive. It has a rear-drive mode for burnouts and power slides, but with 600 hp going to all four wheels, it’s just as quick as the E 63 S. In the quarter mile, it’s even slightly quicker.
4. 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (3.0 sec)
With 755 hp sent exclusively to the rear wheels, the Corvette ZR1 is the very definition of “traction-limited.” But when you finally do get it to hook up, it’ll run to 60 mph in 3 seconds flat on its way to a 10.8-second quarter mile.
3. 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Turbo S E-Hybrid  (2.8 sec)
Compared to most other cars, the E 63 S wagon is an acceleration monster. Yet the top-spec Panamera Sport Turismo is somehow even quicker. Who would have guessed that a hybrid wagon could run from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds?
2. 2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast (2.8 sec)
It’s almost impossible to write about the 812 Superfast’s acceleration without mentioning its name. And yes, its 0–60 time is quite quick. What’s more impressive, though, is that it ran the quarter mile in 10.4 seconds at 138.6 mph. Superfast, indeed.
1. 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS (2.6 sec)
Currently, the 691-hp GT2 RS is the most powerful 911 ever sold to the public. It also set a production car lap record at Big Willow, obliterated a McLaren 720S’ production car lap record at Laguna Seca, and nearly won Best Driver’s Car 2018. The GT2 RS’ win here is just more icing on the cake.
Read about the quickest cars we tested in 2017 right here.
Honorable Mention: 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante (VF Engineering)
Because VF Engineering’s supercharged Huracan Performante is a tuner car, it didn’t technically qualify for a place on this list. But we also couldn’t make a list of the quickest cars we’ve tested this year without mentioning that it hit 60 mph in 2.2 seconds and ran the quarter mile in a mind-blowing 9.9 seconds. That easily makes it the quickest car we tested all year, even topping the stock Performante and McLaren 720S we tested last year.

What The 911 Porsche Turbo X50
The V8 receives wood inlays, heated headlight washers and front seats, all as new normal features. The brand new Audi Q7 comes normal with 18-inch wheels and 235/sixty five tires. What is the EPA metropolis and freeway mileage estimate for the 2009 Audi TTS? Breaking the gas and hit 60 mph in 6.3 stop seconds. But zippy isn't the velocity of the A4 is hanging is the handling, which comes courtesy of Audi Quattro AWD system. I've owned 3 of them and the gasoline guage typically shows completely empty when there may be a couple of gallons nonetheless in the tank, subsequently I have by no means been in a position to pump a full 27 gals. I first smelled gasoline fumes outdoors the car, however now the scent is inside the car. The gearstick is somewhat complicated at first but the whole lot else and all the failings of the Sport fade away once you pop it into drive, at the very least for a short while. For 2019, Porsche dropped a couple of trims from the lineup (no less than for now), together with the Cayenne Turbo S, which offered probably the most powerful engine in earlier years.
This is how the turbo outlet of the B48 engine on the BMW G30 530i appears to be like like after the downpipe is eliminated (see under image). East Asian Carmakers are building luxury cars to rival BMW and Mercedes Benz
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage Europe and the United States, leading to the shut downs of BMW’s factories around Europe accounting for slightly more than 1.2 million cars for the group and Daimler maker of Mercedes-Benz stopping all production in Europe for at least two weeks with interrupted global supply chains, East Asian carmakers from China, South Korea and Japan are putting out luxury cars to rival their continental luxury car counterparts.
For a long time, Asian automotive manufacturers competed on pricing as continental carmakers out-designed and out-innovated their East-Asian counterparts on superior design, driver comfort and sheer luxuriousness but with declines in global car sales likely to be worse than expected and coupled with rising concerns that the greatest recession ever seen since the Great Depression is on the horizon, three Asian carmakers in particular, are putting out ultra-competitive luxury cars in terms of both pricing and aesthetics.
Hongqi S9 Hypercar
East Asian Carmakers are building luxury cars to rival BMW, Mercedes Benz and Porsche
Allegorically speaking, this development is hardly surprising. Apple iPhones began as the dominant smartphone during the early days of touchscreen devices, but as Korean makers of android smartphones like Samsung and China’s Huawei caught up in terms of design (and today, even pricing), Samsung became the leader of the global smartphone market with 21.8% share and 298.1 million units; followed by Huawei with 17.6%, and Apple with 14.5%. It stands to reason that as these East Asian carmakers continue to improve and refine their offerings, it is just a matter of time before they’re competing with the likes of BMW, Mercedes Benz and Audi on equal footing.
Introducing: 2021 Genesis G80 from South Korea
Featuring a massive, aesthetically regal, crest-shaped grille, the Genesis G80 with its long, seamless sloping roofline and sleek styling would easily look like anything the flagship car models from Bentley, BMW or Benz marques but instead, it hails from South Korea.  The 2021 Genesis G80 is the third generation of that range.
Originally badged Hyundai Genesis in 2008 until Genesis was spun off as a separate luxury carmaking entity in 2017. Genesis Motor LLC counts the talents of Luc Donckerwolke, former design director of Volkswagen subsidiaries Bentley, Lamborghini and Audi; Filippo Perini, former Lamborghini head of design; and Peter Schreyer, formerly principal designer of the VW Golf, New Beetle, and the Audi TT among their designers which counts for why this Asian luxury sedan looks like a competitive counterpart to its continental brethren.
It’s not just the exterior of the 2021 Genesis G80 which screams European sophistication, its interior is a match as well.  Sumptuous wood accents, a gorgeous if barely perceptible air-conditioning vent around the cabin, and an expansive high definition 14.5-inch infotainment screen. Innovative acoustic glass, all improved door seals, and special engine-compartment muffling also make a ride in the new Genesis G80 comparable to its upscale European competitors.
A 3.5-litre turbo V6 rated at 375 horsepower accompanied with driver assistance software like blind-spot collision avoidance assist, forward-collision avoidance assist and automated remote parking render any potential selling arguments for looking at a European marque (other than for reasons of brand prestige pointless).
Introducing: 2020 Hongqi H9 from China
“It is the meanest, baddest-looking son of a bitch the world has seen.” – Jeremy Clarkson, referring to the Honqi L5 for The Times.
红旗 or Hongqi, meaning “red flag”, was launched in 1958, making it the oldest Chinese passenger car marque. Owned by the automaker FAW Car Company, Hongqi was designated as the premier car available only to high-ranking government officials. Since its revival in the mid 1990s, Hongqi has gone from strength to strength, used by then Chinese President Hu Jintao, predecessor of Xi Jinping during the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and then later on its high profile appearance on Jeremy Clarkson’s Grand Tour in 2019 where he called it “China’s answer to the Bentley” and in a review for the UK’s The Times, he compared it to a Rolls-Royce.
Designed to compete with the Mercedes S-class and the BMW seven series, the 2020 Hongqi H9 was the combined work of  Rolls-Royce ex-designer Giles Taylor and veteran stylist Dinh Yanfeng. Unlike the G80 from South Korea, the design cues of the new Hongqi H9 is recognisable: China is the biggest market for the Mercedes-Mayback and the H9 is a direct, if literal, competitor to that model.
As with current luxury car trends, an intimidating radiator grille with a contiguous stream of the headlights creates a magnificent countenance with immense swagger for the Hongqi H9. They went all out with this, featuring retractable door handles, the stance and body shape of the H9 looks like the designers cross-bred a Rolls-Royce Dawn with a Bentley Mulsanne.
Luxurious refinement abounds throughout the vehicle. Inside, splendid leather and wood cabin provides a framed backdrop to the inset instrument panel while the display in the center console controls the functions of the car. On the wheel are touch keys and the start button of the motor arms is between the climate control.
Introducing: 2020 GR Supra from Japan
For a while, Japanese sports cars appeared to lag behind their Euro-counterparts n terms of styling. Possessed of 1990s aesthetics, the new 2020 GR Supra developed by Toyota Gazoo Racingget gets a 21st Century rebirth. Unlike the Nissan GT-R: a four-wheel drive masterpiece, and aluminium-bodied, mid-engined V6 Honda NSX before it, the Toyota GR Supra might be a phoenix rising but it still remains faithful to its 40-year formula with supercharged specs and aesthetics.
Featuring a straight-6 turbocharged engine, the Supra pumps out an incredible 500Nm of torque and has a staggering 0-100km/h time of 4.3 seconds. And with its perfectly balanced 50:50 front and rear weight distribution and a lightweight yet highly rigid chassis, it can be considered an engineering marvel. That said, critics decried the Japanese automaker for its BMW-sourced platform and drivetrain but I’m going to say it – a good sportscar shouldn’t just drive like one – what separated Japanese sports cars from their Porsche and Aston Martin euro-counterparts is epic styling and the 2020 GR Supra looks every inch the part.
While the Cayman is a mid-engined, flat-four from an obviously more premium marque, their technical specifications on paper put them head to head: the GR Supra puts out 335 horses to the Porsche 718 Cayman’s 345 for a fraction of the cost of it’s European competition. Aesthetically, it’s attractive, distinct and doesn’t look like a typical Japanese sportscar thanks to design cues from Formula 1 racers. With perfect 50:50 weight distribution and a low center of gravity for sharp handling, Supra completes its 100 kmh sprint in 4.1 seconds with explosive torque as you hit the accelerator, accompanied by an exhaust “soundtrack” comparable to continental supercars and its signature crackles and pops.

New from E-Man’s Movie Reviews by Emmanuel Noisette: Audis history on the big and small screens
Throughout film history, the movies have featured plenty of famous vehicles.  But, the Audi – it has to be said – has featured prominently is some blockbusters.
Mission Impossible II
When it comes to Mission Impossible, let’s rewind back to the year 2000 and Mission: Impossible 2 to showcase how Audi has been featured in the hit movie series that has always starred Tom Cruise in the lead role of Ethan Hunt.
In the film, Hunt leads a mission to destroy deadly biological weapon and finds himself in a exhilarating car chase with international thief Nyah Nordoff-Hall. Hunt is behind the wheel of a Porsche Boxster and Nordoff-Hall tries to hold him off while driving an Audi TT — suffice to say that the pursuit between the two German-made cars into oncoming traffic is filled with nail-biting and edge-of-your-seat drama!
Marvel films
Arguable one of the most successful movie franchises ever to be created, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has films for everyone. There have been 20 films released already — the most recent being Ant-Man and the Wasp — and at least a dozen more in the pipeline.
Not only can you spot the ultimate superheroes in these films, but you may also be able to spot a stylish Audi too.
Did you know that there has actually been at least one Audi in every film in the Iron Man trilogy? A 2007 R8 and S5 B8 can be found in the first movie, a 2009 A8 LD3 and 2010 R8 Spyder are spotted in the sequel, and a 2012 S7 and R8 e-tron both feature in Iron Man 3. The R8 e-tron also turned up at a VIP screening of Iron Man 3 at London’s Leicester Square a few days before the movie’s general release!
But there were almost as many Audi cars featured in the three Iron Movies as there was in Captain America: Civil War! Within its two hours and 27 minutes runtime, you can see the 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus, the 2017 SQ7, the 2017 A4, the 2016 A7 Sportback and even the Audi prologue concept car — a vehicle hailed as “a ‘signature car’ for Audi” by Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Board Member for Development at Audi.
There’s more to it, though. Be on the lookout for an Audi R8, A6 Hybrid and A3 as you watch the excitement unfold in Avengers: Age of Ultron, as well as an Audi TTS Roadster, R8 Spyder, Q7 and A8 during Spider-Man Homecoming — the first standalone film by our favourite web-slinger since he became involved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Moving away from the Marvel Universe, the German brand is also spotted in other film adaptations of comic book heroes. An R8 Spyder features in Wolverine — the titular protagonist’s actor Hugh Jackman even turned up at the London Leicester Square premiere of the film in the same car — and an A8 plays a role in the 2015 big screen edition of Fantastic Four.
The Fifty Shades trilogy
Appearing in movie series is becoming a trend for Audi, with them also featuring in the Fifty Shades trilogy. The German manufacturer a presence in all three film adaptations of E.L. James’ novels which follow the relationship of business magnate Christian Grey and college graduate Anastasia Steele.
Why was this brand chosen over the other supercars? The brand’s multiple appearances came as a result of a partnership which was set up between Audi and Universal Pictures — a deal that Audi no doubt has relished seeing as though the movie series has grossed over $1 billion across the globe to date!
In Fifty Shades of Grey, the first film of the trilogy, viewers will be able to spot an Audi S8 D4, a 2017 S7 and a R8 Spyder. In the sequel Fifty Shades Darker, a set of Audi Q7 cars and an A3 took centre stage, with both the R8 and Q7 returning when the franchise wrapped up earlier this year with Fifty Shades Freed.
I, ROBOT
With I, ROBOT though, we’re taken to the future to see what Audi cars may potentially look like in years to come.
Called the Audi RSQ, this concept vehicle represented the first time that Audi had ever developed a car that was to be specifically used in a major Hollywood motion picture.
This future car boasted piloted driving which allowed Will Smith’s Chicago police detective character Del Spooner to press a button to enable the car to take control of the driving — no doubt an early vision of the autonomous driving concept that we are only just starting to see being trialled in real life.
Drivers of the RSQ are able to ride sideways and diagonal, while the use of balls instead of wheels was a quirky design touch. However, the typical single-frame grille and the presence of those four instantly recognisable silver rings let viewers clearly know that this car was without question an Audi.
Furious 7
How could we not give the Fast and Furious franchise a mention? After all, this is a series which features street racing, heists and espionage using all manners of vehicles and has so far spanned eight main series entries and two additional short films — grossing in excess of $5 billion to date!
This series is so popular with its fans, in fact, that a spin-off movie called Hobbs & Shaw is due for release in 2019 and there’s now even a worldwide live show titled Fast & Furious Live, which includes stunt driving, projection mapping and pyrotechnics.
Focusing on Furious 7 now — a movie that clutched at the heartstrings as it was the final one to feature an appearance by series regular Paul Walker due to the actor being killed while the movie was still being filmed — is where you can see Audi appearing in the franchise.
The model of the Audi R8 appears when it competes in an exciting quarter mile race against a classic Plymouth Barracuda in the early moments of the film.
This article was put together by Vindis, a UK dealer offering Audi servicing.

This self-driving AI faced off against a champion racer (kind of)
Developments in the self-driving car world can sometimes be a bit dry: a million miles without an accident, a 10 percent increase in pedestrian detection range, and so on. But this research has both an interesting idea behind it and a surprisingly hands-on method of testing: pitting the vehicle against a real racing driver on a course.
To set expectations here, this isn’t some stunt, it’s actually warranted given the nature of the research, and it’s not like they were trading positions, jockeying for entry lines, and generally rubbing bumpers. They went separately, and the researcher, whom I contacted, politely declined to provide the actual lap times. This is science, people. Please!
The question which Nathan Spielberg and his colleagues at Stanford were interested in answering has to do with an autonomous vehicle operating under extreme conditions. The simple fact is that a huge proportion of the miles driven by these systems are at normal speeds, in good conditions. And most obstacle encounters are similarly ordinary.
If the worst should happen and a car needs to exceed these ordinary bounds of handling — specifically friction limits — can it be trusted to do so? And how would you build an AI agent that can do so?
The researchers’ paper, published today in the journal Science Robotics, begins with the assumption that a physics-based model just isn’t adequate for the job. These are computer models that simulate the car’s motion in terms of weight, speed, road surface, and other conditions. But they are necessarily simplified and their assumptions are of the type to produce increasingly inaccurate results as values exceed ordinary limits.
Imagine if such a simulator simplified each wheel to a point or line when during a slide it is highly important which side of the tire is experiencing the most friction. Such detailed simulations are beyond the ability of current hardware to do quickly or accurately enough. But the results of such simulations can be summarized into an input and output, and that data can be fed into a neural network — one that turns out to be remarkably good at taking turns.
The simulation provides the basics of how a car of this make and weight should move when it is going at speed X and needs to turn at angle Y — obviously it’s more complicated than that, but you get the idea. It’s fairly basic. The model then consults its training, but is also informed by the real-world results, which may perhaps differ from theory.
So the car goes into a turn knowing that, theoretically, it should have to move the wheel this much to the left, then this much more at this point, and so on. But the sensors in the car report that despite this, the car is drifting a bit off the intended line — and this input is taken into account, causing the agent to turn the wheel a bit more, or less, or whatever the case may be.
And where does the racing driver come into it, you ask? Well, the researchers needed to compare the car’s performance with a human driver who knows from experience how to control a car at its friction limits, and that’s pretty much the definition of a racer. If your tires aren’t hot, you’re probably going too slow.
The team had the racer (a “champion amateur race car driver,” as they put it) drive around the Thunderhill Raceway Park in California, then sent Shelley — their modified, self-driving 2009 Audi TTS — around as well, ten times each. And it wasn’t a relaxing Sunday ramble. As the paper reads:
Both the automated vehicle and human participant attempted to complete the course in the minimum amount of time. This consisted of driving at accelerations nearing 0.95g while tracking a minimum time racing trajectory at the the physical limits of tire adhesion. At this combined level of longitudinal and lateral acceleration, the vehicle was able to approach speeds of 95 miles per hour (mph) on portions of the track.
Even under these extreme driving conditions, the controller was able to consistently track the racing line with the mean path tracking error below 40 cm everywhere on the track.
In other words, while pulling a G and hitting 95, the self-driving Audi was never more than a foot and a half off its ideal racing line. The human driver had much wider variation, but this is by no means considered an error — they were changing the line for their own reasons.
“We focused on a segment of the track with a variety of turns that provided the comparison we needed and allowed us to gather more data sets,” wrote Spielberg in an email to TechCrunch. “We have done full lap comparisons and the same trends hold. Shelley has an advantage of consistency while the human drivers have the advantage of changing their line as the car changes, something we are currently implementing.”
Shelley showed far lower variation in its times than the racer, but the racer also posted considerably lower times on several laps. The averages for the segments evaluated were about comparable, with a slight edge going to the human.
This is pretty impressive considering the simplicity of the self-driving model. It had very little real-world knowledge going into its systems, mostly the results of a simulation giving it an approximate idea of how it ought to be handling moment by moment. And its feedback was very limited — it didn’t have access to all the advanced telemetry that self-driving systems often use to flesh out the scene.
The conclusion is that this type of approach, with a relatively simple model controlling the car beyond ordinary handling conditions, is promising. It would need to be tweaked for each surface and setup — obviously a rear-wheel-drive car on a dirt road would be different than front-wheel on tarmac. How best to create and test such models is a matter for future investigation, though the team seemed confident it was a mere engineering challenge.
The experiment was undertaken in order to pursue the still-distant goal of self-driving cars being superior to humans on all driving tasks. The results from these early tests are promising, but there’s still a long way to go before an AV can take on a pro head-to-head. But I look forward to the occasion.

The New Audi TT RS Coupé and the New Audi TT RS Roadster
Audi Sport hones the top model of the TT model series: With an even more dynamic look, the new TT RS (combined fuel consumption l/100 km: 8,1 – 7,9; combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 183 – 181) showcases with confidence what it has to offer. Its five-cylinder engine delivers 400 metric horsepower, accompanied by the unmistakable five-cylinder sound. The new TT RS will be available to order beginning on February 7th, 2019. The Coupé and Roadster will be found at dealers in Germany and other European countries from spring of 2019 on. South African release date to be confirmed.
“The new TT RS is in absolute peak form,” says Michael-Julius Renz, CEO of Audi Sport GmbH. “Like a well-trained athlete, it showcases even more prominently how much power lies beneath its muscular outer skin.” Oliver Hoffmann, Technical Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH, adds: “The outstanding performance is achieved by the low weight, the maximal athletic tuned suspension, and our award-winning five-cylinder. We have received the sought-after “International Engine of the Year Award” with the 2.5 TFSI engine for the ninth time in a row.”
Dynamic appearance: The exterior design The TT RS has never been this masculine. The completely redrawn front end and the striking rear end give it a dynamic appearance. The quattro logo in a matt titanium-look is positioned in the lower section of the gloss black grill with its matt black Singleframe. The lateral air inlets, which have been enlarged once again, are each divided by vertical strips on the inside and outside. For cooling purposes there are additional radiators located behind the typical RS honeycomb grill. The lateral air inlets that extend almost all the way to the front wheel wells make the new TT RS appear extremely wide.
A continuous front spoiler that is drawn up steeply at the lateral ends pulls the front apron down sharply, giving the car its distinctive, motorsport-inspired look. The blade is painted in body color as standard, but is also available in a matt aluminum look or gloss black. The RS model has a gloss black inlay in the newly designed side sill. The exterior mirror housings are available in body color, matt aluminum look, gloss black, and carbon.
At the rear, it is the newly designed fixed rear wing with side winglets that catches the eye. As part of the aerodynamics concept, it supports RS-typical performance and efficiency. There are vertical design elements on both sides above the new RS-specific diffusor. Two large oval exhaust tailpipes create the typical RS finish.
LED headlights are standard. The optional matrix LED units regulate the high beams intelligently and with great flexibility. The optional matrix OLED reversing lights (organic light emitting diode) with a 3D design distribute their extensive light with extreme homogeneity and precision. When the ignition is switched on, the OLED reversing lights put on a spectacular display. In the interior, there is a new red 12 o’clock marking on the steering wheel rim.
The new TT RS is available in eight different colors, including the new RS-specific color Kyalami green and the new colors Pulse orange and Turbo blue. Upon request, matt aluminum and gloss black styling packages highlight the blade and rear wing. The gloss black styling package includes the Audi rings and the TT RS model logo in black on the front and rear as an option. The fabric top of the TT RS Roadster is black. The Audi exclusive program offers various additional possibilities for individualization.
Award-winning performance: The 2.5 TFSI Five-cylinder, 294 kW (400 metric horsepower) output, 480 Nm of torque, quattro all-wheel drive—the Audi TT RS impresses with inner values and offers an outstanding driving performance. The Coupé sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds. Musical accompaniment is provided by the typical five-cylinder sound: 1-2-4-5-3. Due to this ignition sequence, ignition alternates between adjacent cylinders and those far apart from one another. This unique rhythm is music to the ears of many horsepower purists.
Last year, Audi Sport received the sought-after “International Engine of the Year Award” for the 2.5 TFSI engine for the ninth consecutive time. The turbo engine draws its power from an engine displacement of 2,480 cm3. The engine’s maximum torque of 480 Nm is available between 1,950 and 5,850 rpm. The top speed is regulated at 250 km/h or an optional 280 km/h.
The forces of the five-cylinder engine flow via a seven-speed S tronic to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive that distributes the power as needed between the axles via a multi-plate clutch. Wheel-selective torque control makes handling even more agile and safe. The driver can use the Audi drive select dynamic handling system to influence the quattro drive and other components such as the steering, S tronic, engine characteristic, and exhaust flaps. The four modes available for this are comfort, auto, dynamic, and individual.
Pure dynamism: The suspension The low weight and the consistently sporty suspension provide the basic prerequisites for the excellent handling of the Audi TT RS. The progressive steering adapted specifically to the RS ensures close contact with the road. At the front axle, ventilated and perforated steel discs are in action behind the 19-inch or 20-inch wheels. The brake calipers are painted black as standard, but are available in red as an option. As an option, the RS sport suspension plus is available with adaptive dampers in Audi magnetic ride technology. Their control technology is also integrated into the Audi drive select dynamic handling system.
Inspired by motorsports: The interior Controls and display in the new TT RS are focused completely on the driver. The RS sport seats with the rhombus pattern in Alcantara or optionally with a honeycomb pattern in fine Nappa leather as well as the RS logos on the seats, steering wheel, door sill trims, and selector levers underline the sporty character of the 2+2 seater. Special RS displays in the standard Audi virtual cockpit with a 12.3-inch screen provide information on tire pressure, torque, and g-forces. In manual mode, the shift light display prompts the driver to upshift when the maximum engine speed is reached. In addition to multifunction buttons, the RS sport leather steering wheel with shift paddles features two satellite controls for turning the engine on and off as well as the Audi drive select dynamic handling system.
The new RS design package adds red or blue highlights to the car on the air vent doors, the seat belts, and the floor mats with the RS logo. The extended RS design package also offers contrasting design elements on the seats and center console.
Up to date: The infotainment system Audi also offers a great deal of infotainment features. The options include MMI navigation plus with MMI touch including free text search and natural language voice control, as well as the Wi-Fi hotspot and the Audi connect online module. Online services reach the vehicle via the fast LTE standard. The Audi smartphone interface connects smartphones with the TT RS and can stream content seamlessly to the Audi virtual cockpit via USB. The Bang & Olufsen sound system provides an excellent sound experience on board with an output of 680 watts.

The Audi R8: Origins, Generations, Specifications
Tumblr media
All things Audi R8 on Automobile.
Audi R8 Essential History Despite a rich motorsports history with overwhelming success in both rallying and endurance racing, Audi's always remained at arm's length when it came to producing a true sports car. The once-popular Audi TT has most of the right ingredients, but the front-wheel-drive underpinnings pulled primarily from the VW Golf kept it well below the Porsche Boxster, Nissan Z cars, and BMW's assorted roadsters and two-seat coupes.
Since the early 1980s, Audi remained content developing high-performance versions of its premium coupes and sedans, focusing on promoting all-wheel drive technology and turbocharged engines, even if the resulting speed-specials were softer and more road-oriented than the adrenalin-charging weapons from Mercedes-Benz' AMG or BMW's M division.
It was only during the early-2000s when the reality of an Audi supercar began to coalesce, born from Audi's ongoing Le Mans domination and the then-recent acquisition of Lamborghini by the Volkswagen Auto Group. To amortize the cost of development of the nascent Lamborghini Gallardo and to bring Audi a little closer in-line with Mercedes and BMW, the plan for the mid-engine Audi R8—the brand's first supercar—took shape with the Le Mans Quattro concept in 2003.
Audi Le Mans Quattro Concept Visually, the Audi Le Mans Quattro concept was nearly identical to the production R8 that arrived in 2007, though the wild twin-turbo V-10 engine was tossed for a more production-friendly iteration of Audi's naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V-8. Power was reasonable for a mid-engine sports car of the era, with 414 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque sent to all-four wheels through either Audi's R-Tronic six-speed automated manual or a gated six-speed manual transmission. Zero-to-60-mph times for these early R8s were around the low four-second mark, with a top speed around 188 mph.
The Audi R8 Goes V-10 For the 2009 model year, the R8's Lamborghini roots shone in full-force, when the updated 5.2-liter V-10 from the Lamborghini LP560-4 was shoehorned into the R8. Fun fact—that Lamborghini V-10 is actually an Audi V-10 pulled from the S6 and S8. So, the R8 V10 actually uses an Audi V-10 pulled from a Lamborghini, but we digress. The V-10 engine increased the R8's output to 518 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque, dropping the zero-to-60 mph sprint to 3.9 seconds, and raising top speed to 196 mph.
The Audi R8 Spyder Drop-top Spyder variants launched for both the V-8 and the V-10 models, with the V-8 adding an extra 14 horsepower over the V-8 coupe, growing the total to 428 horsepower, though torque remained unchanged at 317 lb-ft. The limited edition R8 GT arrived in 2011, cutting 220 pounds from the curb weight of the regular R8 V10, while increasing the V-10's output to 552 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. As you'd expect, the R8 GT also brought with it a range of suspension, braking, and aerodynamic upgrades over the regular car to compensate for the additional power and to enlarge the overall performance envelope. Production of the GT was limited to 333 units worldwide, with an additional 333 unit run of the corresponding R8 GT Spyder.
The first-generation R8 received a mid-cycle refresh for 2012 in the rest of the world, arriving in the U.S. in 2013 as a 2014 model year. The refresh brought mostly aesthetic updates, though a few significant mechanical upgrades were also brought to the R8, most significantly a new seven-speed dual-clutch replacing the balky R-Tronic automated manual transmission. Standard magnetic damping was also added for the R8 V10, an optional upgrade for the V-8 models.
The R8 V10 Plus arrived on our shores in 2014, adding a new range-topping trim with extra power and performance in the same vein as the older R8 GT. The same 5.2-liter V-10 as found in the standard R8 V10 was upgraded to 542 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque in the R8 V10 Plus, which also got a re-tuned suspension, updated interior, and massaged aesthetics.
Second-Generation Audi R8 After these short-lived upgrades, the first-gen R8 was replaced by an all-new model in 2015 for the 2016 model year. In keeping with the Lamborghini bones of the prior generation, the second-gen R8 shares much of its structural DNA with the Lamborghini Huracan. This includes the familiar 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V-10—the only engine offered at the moment—initially available with either 533 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque in the base R8 coupe or 602 horsepower and 413 lb-ft in the R8 V10 Plus coupe. With the exception of the limited-edition R8 RWS (Rear Wheel Series), power is transferred to all-four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
For 2019, the second-gen R8 was updated with extra power and an aesthetic refresh. Power for the base coupe jumped to 562 horsepower and 413 lb-ft, while the newly renamed R8 Coupe Performance Quattro packs 602 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Performance for all iterations of the second-gen R8 is impressive; factory-quoted zero-to-60 mph times range between 3.2 seconds and 3.5 seconds, though these times have proven to be conservative in independent tests.
Audi R8 Highlights Time will likely be kind to the Audi R8. The first generation of the supercar consistently ranks at the top of many enthusiast's lists of best designs of the 2000s, and it's only going to get better with time. Although older R8s may carry a bit of a stigma as simply a used supercar, give it time—or pick one up now, while they are at the bottom of their depreciation curve.
Once the first R8s are out of the too-new-to-be-classic but too-old-to-be-cool dead zone, the R8 will be one of the better ways to get into something genuinely exotic for not much more than the price of entry to a loaded mid-size crossover SUV. Early V-8s are particularly inexpensive to purchase, and compared to a Ferrari or Lamborghini of similar vintage, significantly less expensive to keep on the road. As far as upkeep price goes, think more than a BMW or Audi sedan, and less than an Aston Martin—maintenance on a regular Porsche 911 is likely a good comparison.
By design, the R8 of any generation is a more professional, lower-key supercar—if that's even a thing. The current R8 is priced closer to the Porsche 911 Turbo, current Acura NSX, and Aston Martin Vantage than to Lamborghini's Huracán or McLaren's 720s, but in our experience, the R8 doesn't fall far short of those more exotic models in performance or theater. In fact, we'd likely take a new R8 over any of the listed alternatives on the strength of its sound and the vicious launch control. We've also heard whispers that a first-gen Audi R8 V10 with the gated manual transmission is one of the best "exotic" experiences that can be had for less than $100,000, so there's that.
Audi R8 Buying Tips Audi R8s of any generation or spec are fairly robust and shouldn't provide too many undue surprises mechanically. A thick sheaf of maintenance records is always a welcome inclusion with any potential purchase, as is a pre-purchase inspection at a local specialist or dealer. Parts availability for the R8 is high, considering even the oldest R8s still have factory support from Audi—for now. As stated above, expect regular maintenance bills similar to what you'd expect of a Porsche 911.
If you are in the market for a first-gen R8, we highly suggest you seek only those with either the six-speed manual transmission or the later dual-clutch examples. Avoid the R-Tronic at all costs; it's clunky, slow, relatively fragile, and for some enthusiasts, ruins the overall experience. Engine type matters, too, as V-8s will obviously be more affordable than the V-10s, but there is a significant difference in both speed and upkeep between the two engines—as well as a difference in prestige, which can enhance (or detract from) collectibility.
Audi R8 Auctions Despite undeniable desirability, the Audi R8 isn't collectible enough to cross the stage at major auction houses—yet. Bring a Trailer never disappoints, as the healthy record of sold R8s is enough to give an idea of what you might pay for a first generation. For second-generation R8s—the current model—there are enough on Audi lots that you might be better off getting one straight from the source.

Audi R8 FAQ You have questions about the Audi R8. Automobile has answers. Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked Audi R8 queries:
Is The Audi R8 A Supercar? Absolutely. With any engine or transmission and from either generation, the Audi R8 is quick, fast, and visually stunning enough to be considered a supercar.
How Fast Does An Audi R8 Go? The early first-gen Audi R8 4.2s topped out at 188 mph, while the latest and greatest Audi R8 V10 Performance Quattro smacks a mighty 206 mph.
How Much Is The New Audi R8? The base 2020 Audi R8 will run you $171,150.
What Year Is The Best Audi R8? Hmm, great question. We reckon it depends on what you want from the car. For an engaging drive, we'd pick the cleanest first-gen V-10 with the gated manual we could find. However, the current R8 is stunningly quick and aurally spectacular as any car we've driven, so perhaps one of the few R8 RWS would find its way into our dream garage. ผลบอล7mคะแนน
