Tips on using Akafuyu (other than look how pretty she is)?

Akafuyu is a unit you use as part of a whole rather than by herself. She’s a 5* in a whatever archetype, so she doesn’t benefit from 6* advantages or Good Archetype pass, so she’s definitely a bit more of a passion pick than others, but serviceable for sure.

She fills a more defensive role than her coworkers, with S1 being a 0-block option to heal with or to DPS with a blocker behind her, and S2 is her general use Everything-Relevant-Up while halving HP with a Def Up and a single instance of Shield.

She’s an effective line thinner but won’t be your sole tide turner. Thanks to her unique bulk among Musha, she can last pretty long by herself. If you use Musha-Juggernaut supports, like Angie, Perfumer, or Didi, she particularly benefits from them, so she can last for a while before buckling.

In a game where the meta units are either extreme specialists or versatile stars, she’s neither, being part of a team more than the star, but she earns her keep if used with this in mind.

Hi!!! There's not a specific order, but I recommend starting with the cube escape series (bc they're free) and then moving on to the paid games . The paid games are longer and have more of a plot to them

Sooo I was tagged by @nanomooselet (sempai noticed me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) no but really woooow a person with so much such cool trigun meta knows I exist? I’m literally starstruck)

Last song: Not Found by Buck-Tick. That’s a great song, I kinda forgot existed and actually expected to listen to Mudai (which means “No name”, so, it’s not that weird to confuse the two).

Favorite color: green. Deep moss green is the best, but any hue is great.

Currently watching: ugggh. Thanks to my husband I watch ongoings now ( >___>) they are suddenly really good. Everybody knows Dungeon Meshi, I think. It’s already a cult classic as a manga and Trigger continues to make history. I’ve juuust finished Frieren and Apothecary Diaries, Bucchigiri and Warumono San no kyuujitsu, Yubisaki to renren and Majyo to Yajyu. Have started Yoru no kagame wa oyogenai (PLEASE WATCH IT. JUST FOR THE CINEMATOGRAPHY ALONE! PS - god I love the way anime of this new decade uses “camera movement” and colors. Tengoku daimakyo and Chainsawman are probably the best examples here, but this slice of life/music dramedy already looks amazing) and Shyuumatsu no train wa doko e iku (this is boringly simple in the art department in general but the promise and the visualization of the surreal parts is really good, I’m hooked!). Gmg. I do watch movies as well, like, Poor things and Aliza Frankenstein are extremely good. Dune is very beautiful. Mami Wata is a black and white gem of a movie. But I think I should shut up already.

Sweet/savory/spicy: savory I guess? However I’m not a native English speaker and had to google for some time as I’ve previously considered savory not a taste, but… a feel? Dunno.

Relationship status: married. As for friendship, it’s mostly online as most my beautiful ladies live far away ~_~

Current obsession: Trigun. And. Like. Really. It is an OBSESSION. I love all the characters, I literally fall asleep and wake up with them on my mind. I’ve made myself a felted Vash toy. I’ve watched Stampede twice (don’t look at the number of things I watch. Without my husband I can’t finish shit. But this! I’ve screencapped every second of it it seems. I’ve read manga in English and Japanese (and sometimes badly translated to Russian for the lulz - there’s so much swearing it’s basically a different story). I’ve committed two art pieces for the first time in my life. I’ve put art on my walls and my laptop. And I even returned to reading fan fiction after almost a decade of staying away from ao3 (no shade here, I just never loved anything as much as to need any additional materials. Except for Hannibal. But that show was too perfect and didn’t need anything but deep analytics on the symbolism). Hmh. I want to plug “Becoming Eden” by Lenipes here. It’s so good it has become a fourth trigun “canon” for me.

I checked out Irisu Syndrome after you posted about it and i suck SO BAD, i keep disappointing the bunnygirl by my atrocious handling of coloured shapes

It's part of the game to be bad at it at first, don't worry.

The game deliberately does not explain all of its functions. Try pressing different buttons (on mouse and keyboard), maybe you can find some tech ;) you may wanna keep the game's files open, as well, you know, where the game executable is.

Jaye is a bit harder to jail with in Calamity, though, since the stat boosts that Phantom gets make him inflict higher Frenzy while also making Jaye heal less per hit.

Yeah, ALRIGHT HUDDLE UP

First of all:

This is your Starting Situation: Red Star is the Archer. The Archer ALWAYS spawns in that tile. Purple Outline Star is the Swordfighter, and they can spawn either next to the Archer or in the lower left tile.

Your ideal build for this map is having at least two ranged units with burst that can hit the Archer ASAP, and you place them where the upper Blue Arrows are. They need to be able to hit the Archer, so Snipers and Casters work. Supporters have a harder time (Angelina S3 can hit there for example but the upkeep is obviously atrocious). These ranged units will also handle the spider and Yeti Cleavers later in the map, so ideally you also have a healer up there where the green arrow is. You always kill the Archer first because if you kill the Swordfighter first, Archer becomes very unmanageable with the buff they get. Your ranged units, fortunately, WILL prioritize the Archer even if both spawn up there, so your opening is not at all affected by their starting locations.

Regardless of where Swordfighter spawns, it will ALWAYS stop at both possible spawn points, giving you plenty of opportunities to beat them up. Both bosses have low health and high damage, so burst is the best strategy you can employ here. The lower blue arrow is your lane holder for the lower lane, we put them there because if Swordfighter spawns there, it's free damage until they start moving, and if they don't spawn there, they WILL stand there for a while later in the map anyways, meaning free damage.

Once you've given Archer the business, now it's Swordfighter's turn. As previously stated, Swordfighter will move and then stop at the spawn point it didn't spawn in. Meaning, you put a strong melee damage dealer in the tile directly in front to rack up damage. Blue arrows are position where I recommend you place units for the express purpose of giving Swordfighter the keys to the city ASAP. Again, these bosses have low bulk, so killing them quickly won't be an issue if you pack decent damage (and ideally, burst).

After that, it's just spiders on the lower lane and spiders + Yeti Cleavers on the upper lane. You want your heavier defense set up above, lower lane is very lightweight in comparison.

And you've done it! You killed two theater kids!

Hi!! I'm aware that Petrovna is a patronymic, and I'll explain why I chose to give her that as a surname.

Juliana was born in the mid 16th century as a serf. Most sources that I've seen say that surnames in Russia appeared in the upper classes in the 16th century, but weren't common among the common people until at least a hundred years later.

Here are some quotes from these sources that say that the patronymic used to be the same as the surname:

"The times when all that a person needed was a name are long gone. Sooner or later, it was inevitable that the need to differentiate one Ivan from another would arise. The easiest thing was to specify whose son a particular Ivan was: This is how Russian surnames originally came about." (x)

"Russian surnames started being used relatively recently in history, with the patronymic surname, as was common in other parts of Europe [...] When people began using patronymic surnames, those names eventually stayed the same after a few generations (rather than changing with each generation, as new people were born with new names of their fathers), and the patronymic surname became the family surname." (x)

"Fixed, hereditary surnames did not become common among the Russian peasantry until the late 17th century and early 18th century." (x)

"In the 17th and the 18th centuries, even those peasants who did have surnames, did not inherit them from earlier generations. The surname was the same as the patronymic." (x)
