A veces me pregunto que será de todas ellas, las que alguna vez se las llevaron, y yo, y muchas otras, compartimos con un nudo en el estómago, su imagen, su recuerdo, el último microsegundo donde se la ve.

A veces me saltan recuerdos de esas búsquedas de chicas de mi país, del vecino, que desaparecieron en el barrio, en su provincia, en el extranjero, y nunca se supo su paradero. ¿Qué habrá sido de ellas? ¿Qué no fue? ¿Donde terminaron? ¿Cuál será su historia? ¿Cómo fue su final? Porque a veces, por más doloroso que nos suene, es preferible imaginarlas muertas, que viviendo en un calvario.

A veces me pregunto si alguien las sigue buscando, si alguien las piensa a diario, o si su último conocido se rindio ante el vacio de su ausencia, y ese nudo que estaba solo en el estómago se esparce por todo el cuerpo, y brota mi angustia, de saber que alguien se adueñó de su cuerpo, de su historia, de su vida, y nunca volvió a mencionarla, a mostrarla, y la dejó olvidada cuando ya no le servía, cuando ya no la quería.

Y me duele saber que ellas, que son hijas, madres, hermanas, amigas, compañeras, podrían llegar a ser más cercanas a mi, y eso ya no solo me duele, sino que me llena de miedos, porque nos siento presas de una libertad que se nos niega, y donde solo me (nos) creo a salvo, un poco más a salvo, cuando entro a casa y veo el mensaje de mis amigas que dicen "estoy bien, llegué".

Todos los días, y sobre todo hoy, yo lucho por ellas que no volvieron, por esas inalcanzables busquedas, por las que seguimos, y por las que vienen. Yo lucho por un mundo donde mantenerme a salvo no sea algo de suerte, por defender nuestros derechos, y para que nuestra historia la podamos contar nosotras.

Brazil: No secrecy on Jan. 8 riots footage, De Moraes rules

Brazilian Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justice Alexandre De Moraes Friday ruled to lift the seal of secrecy from images of vandalism recorded during the Jan. 8 riots in the Planalto Palace, Agencia Brasil reported. The magistrate's decision is part of the STF investigation into the coup d'état investigation.

De Moraes ordered all recordings of the Institutional Security Cabinet (GSI) captured during the Jan. 8 assault on the Planalto Palace be sent to the Court's ongoing investigation. The ruling came after the interim management of the GSI informed the STF that an inquiry had been opened on Jan. 26 to investigate the conduct of the officers on duty, but the images of the actions of vandals were not disclosed because of the secrecy of the investigation.

In the same decision, Moraes also ordered the Federal Police (PF) to collect, within 48 hours, the testimony of all GSI employees who were identified after recordings released by CNN Brazil showed former GSI minister Gonçalves Dias and other people inside the Planalto Palace during the coup plotting.

In his decision, De Moraes argued that he had already determined that all the images of the invasion should be attached to the investigation underway at the STF. In his view, the recordings are necessary to determine the criminal responsibility of those involved.

- observer Gale, he just loves the physicality John moves in when he’s in Major mode and when he gets the rare chance to look without being seen or having to worry what is seen on his face he just looks and lets himself feel it

- talismans, I love the idea of both of them having something that means ‘I am of my beloved and my beloved is of mine’

- literally whatever other sexy scenario you can concoct, your whiskey one has rewired a couple of circuits in my brain

- soulmarks, on the basis that I’m a sucker for them

(These are all amazing, and I would like to encourage anyone who is reading this and gets an idea from one of these to write you one of the ones I don't [or write the one I did but as your own thing!])

In the barracks, each bed comes with a side table. It has a drawer and a lamp. Most of the boys keep a photo of a loved one on the top, a skin mag in the drawer, and whatever they carry in their pockets each day next to the photo.

Buck's is different because he keeps whatever he carries in his pockets in the drawer, and on the table itself is a collection of random objects that look like he's collecting odds and ends with no real sense. Amongst the clutter are the following things:

A skeleton key with a filigree 'G' carved into the head.

A rock that shines when the sunlight hits it during the day.

A broken bracelet made of blue stones.

A tiny piece of foil shaped into an oak leaf cluster.

The first time a replacement asks about it--because Major Cleven doesn't seem the type to collect odds and ends--Demarco barks a laugh and buys the replacement a drink.

"It's not Cleven's collection. Well, it is. But it's not."

The replacement stares at Demarco. "Uh-huh. Clear as mud."

Demarco sighs. "They're all his, but he didn't pick them, okay?"

"That's no clearer."

Demarco shrugs. "You'll figure it out."

A week later, the replacement is reading in his bunk when Major Egan walks in, giggly and flushed from drinking. He drops hard onto Major Cleven's bed. Major Cleven is--or was--sleeping, but he wakes up and huffs a laugh and says as calm and even as he seems to do everything. "What are you up to?"

Major Egan holds out a hand. "Look what I found!"

Major Cleven squints at Major Egan's hand. "It's a penny."

"No, look closer," Major Egan says. He picks up the penny with his other hand and holds it very close to Major Cleven's eyes. "Look."

Major Cleven grabs Major Egan's wrist and pulls it back a few inches. He squints at the penny, then reaches over and flicks on his lamp. He squints at the penny again. "It's still a penny, John."

"No, it's your birth year," Major Egan says. "See?" He points. "And I found it heads up! It's double good luck for you."

The replacement suddenly realizes neither of them have clocked that he's there. He coughs politely, and suddenly, both Majors are looking at him.

"Is this your first time experiencing Major Egan in his magpie form?" Major Cleven asks.

"Uh," the replacement says.

"He acts like it's silly, but he keeps all of them," Major Egan says, gesturing to Major Cleven.

The replacement expects Major Cleven to scoff or shove Major Egan off his bed. Instead, he smiles and holds out his hand.

"I don't act like it's silly," Major Cleven says and looks at his table for a long moment before setting down very precisely. "I just can't follow your booze-soaked reasoning when you wake me up in the middle of the night."

Major Egan flops sideways so he's taking over half of Major Cleven's bed. "It's only ten, you old man."

Major Cleven stares at Major Egan. "We have an audience, John."

"Eh," Major Egan says and rolls over, stealing Major Cleven's pillow.

"Hey, give that back!" Major Cleven says, yanking the pillow, but Major Egan isn't giving it up.

The replacement doesn't know what to do, so he goes back to his book. The next night at the officer's club, he buys Demarco a drink.

"What was it this time?" Demarco asks.

"A penny from his birth year that he found face up."

Demarco bursts into laughter. "Oh, that's a whole new level of lovesick."

"Are they together?"

"Joined at the hip and a few other parts," Demarco says, then downs his drink. He slaps the replacement on the back. "Come on. I'll let you tell Brady what the latest one is. He'll love it."

¿Qué es PECADO para tí?

“Pecado es cualquier cosa que debilite tu razonamiento, altere la sensibilidad de tu conciencia, oscurezca tu apreciación de Dios, o te quite la pasión por las cosas espirituales. En pocas palabras, cualquier cosa que aumente el poder o la autoridad de la carne sobre tu espíritu… eso para ti se convierte en pecado, independientemente de cuán bueno sea en sí mismo”.

Las 10 leyes del pecado

Primera ley: El pecado te llevará más allá de dónde pensabas llegar. Decimos “Es que solo pienso llegar hasta aquí”, o, “Créeme, que esto está bajo control”. Lo que estaba bajo control termina controlándote a ti. A su tiempo controlará tu corazón, y lo que controla tu corazón controlará también tus emociones y eventualmente toda tu mente. Tu vida queda sometida al pecado.

Segunda ley: El pecado te alejará por más tiempo de lo que habías pensado. “Es solo un par de días…”, y los días se convierten en semanas, y las semanas en meses, y en muchas ocasiones en años.

Tercera ley: El pecado te costará más de lo que querías pagar. Te costará tu integridad, tu reputación, tu paz. Puede llegar a costarte tu esposa o esposo, tus hijos, tus amigos, tu trabajo, tu ministerio y tu iglesia.

Cuarta ley: Pecas a tu manera, pero tienes que regresar a la manera de Dios. Él determina los términos de tu regreso. Y Sus caminos pueden ser largos y difíciles. La restauración del pecado es un proceso.

Quinta ley: El pecado engendra pecado. Una vez pecas, te ves en la necesidad de pecar nuevamente para encubrir tu primera falta.

Sexta Ley: El pecado te lleva a justificar lo que has hecho. El peso de la culpa y la necesidad de lucir bien ante los demás, te llevará a explicar y luego a justificar tu pecado. Ahora pecarás de auto-justificación.

Séptima Ley: El placer es efímero y temporal, pero las consecuencias del pecado son duraderas. El placer que te produce el pecado en el que incurres es de mucho menor duración que las consecuencias que te acarrea el haber pecado.

Octava Ley: No hay pecado oculto que Dios no ponga de manifiesto. Cristo lo dijo con estas mismas palabras en Mateo 10:26, Marcos 4:22; Lucas 8:17 y Lucas 12:2.

Novena Ley: Mi pecado comienza cuando yo quiero, pero las consecuencias comienzan cuando Dios quiera. De hecho, Dios puede visitar la iniquidad de los padres hasta la tercera y cuarta generación.

Décima Ley: Nadie se burla de Dios. “No os dejéis engañar, de Dios nadie se burla; pues todo lo que el hombre siembre, eso también segará”, Gálatas 6:7.
