Backstory thinggggyyyyyyyy/the situation???

so you're like 16,,, grade 11

and you're like a good student and all

but you can't stay focused for very long periods of time

mainly with "hands-off" tasks

like sitting in a presentation, or getting instructions in class,

or reading

LMAO ALL OF MY RECENT SCENARIOS HAVE BEEN ABOUT DESPISING READING AND LOVING WRITING IM SORRY IM STRESSED LMAO

you kind of had a short attention span

like you could type for hours on end

because your hands are moving

but you just can't read

(well i mean you can but the focus thing- you know what i mean)

ANYWAYS

you have this class book that you're reading

and you're having difficulty reading the book and answering the questions on time

whereas the cute, quiet, awkward kid, has read the whole book the weekend you got it

as much as you hated the idea,,, you asked him for some help

because, let's be real

you were fucking struggling and n e e d e d help

the day of the lit circles

he was just kind of standing next to you and looking at your laptop all awkward shit

so you like looked up at him and were all like

",,,,, do you want to sit down?"

at first he like looked back at you and his eyes were so wide

he just stood there for a minute,,,, silent, just looking at you like a deer in headlights

he quickly regained his composure,,,,, kind of

he kind of just scrambled to get a chair,, like all the way across the room

like boi there's one right here

but like he was back real quick

you were like with a small group of like 3 friends so you just scooted over and let him sit next to you

you're lowkey dying

but he is too SO

it's funny

because Jisung really likes you

so he get's pretty awkward around you

but he's like that with everyone

so you don't notice anything

so after like this awkward silence,,,,, y'all get down to buisness

"I uh,, i need some help with the questions for the lit circle,,,,,,,,

AND HE SMILED

and he was like

"the questions are hard right?"

and you smiled back like

so y'all get to work

and it's going pretty great

so you guys take a break from that shit bc ew

and you acCIDENTALLY OPEN UP YOUR TUMBLR BLOG

and you're just like

"oh shit hey that's my tumblr"

AND JISUNG IS ALL LIKE

"ah- i- oh,,,,,,, i shouldn't be looking that this"

so you look at him lowkey confused and you're like

"uhm,,,,, i mean,,, it's okay, i don't mind"

he smiles and stares at your screen and smiles AWKWARDLY

"ah,, tumblr is just like- a foreign place for me... i don't really know how it works"

AND YOU HAVE LIKE NO SHAME BC THIS BOY KNOWS YOU WRITE SHIT ON TUMBLR SO YOU'RE LIKE

"oh! You don't know like what tumblr really is????? Let me teach you the basics"

bc you love tumblr

so Jisung smiles and is like 'okay'

and you start your tumblr lesson

you're like going through your posts and the stories you've written

and you get to this one, really long story that did really well

(considering you started posting your writing like earlier in the month)

you talked a little bit about the post because you were actually really proud of it

and Jisung just loves seeing you so passionate

it's new to him because you're never really like this about regular school work

he's only seen you talk about writing like twice

the last time was when you were trying to think of a title for the exact scenario you were talking about

which you asked him for any possible ideas for the title

he smiled while watching how you talked about the scenario

you didn't notice him watching,,,,, it was cute

he looked away and at the screen again

"it's a cute title"

GAHHHHHHHHHH WHATTA CUTIE

AND YOU LIKE LOOK AT HIM

but you remain calm and hella passionate on the outside and you're like

"AHHHH I KNOWWWW"

now you're just like looking back at him with the biggest smile

but then

oh shit

he has choir and you gotta get to class

so you thank him for the help and you two part ways

TWO DAYS LATER

tbh y'all aren't that awkward once you warm up to each other

so on Wednesday

y'all have these presentations

and a big part of the presentation is (sorry if you love science) science

and you like lowkey highkey hate science

and the pressure of having to talk about science in front of all of your classmates (even though you know everyone and y'all are friends) was crazy

and when your teacher started to ask you questions that you couldn't answer

you felt yourself get really warm and then you started crying

you one of your closest friends ran to you side

and she was lovely enough to ask you if you wanted to be alone

which you did

so you left the classroom

after what felt like years (k not really)

you're teacher came out and talked to you a bit

AND THAT MADE YOU FEEL PRETTY SHITTY

LIKE YEAH WILL I KNOW I WASN'T PREPARED

your teacher said that you didn't have to finish the presentation if you didn't want to,,,, but you should go back into the class whenever you were ready

you knew that Jisung was coming back from choir soon

so you waited in the hall until you saw him

when he saw you, he sent you a small wave

you sent one back

he slowed down to a stop in front of you and asked if you were alright

bc like

you were sitting alone in the hallway lookin all sad

you just like sighed and looked down, shrugging, AND mumbling

"i don't know"

and the next thing you knew

Jisung was sitting right next to you against the lockers

"okay, what's up"

you just looked at him

and he looked back

"uhhh,,,, well,,, i had my exhibition"

you looked forward, across the hall and he nodded, doing the same

"it didn't go well, clearly as you can probably tell because I'm sitting out here and not in class"

you lowkey felt tears forming

"what happened...?"

you looked back up at him before sighing

"ELA was going great, then i got into science...."

you started to trail off so Jisung finished for you

"he started asking questions?"

sighing and nodding in response, you continued to elaborate

"yeah... BUT LIKE it was awful. I started crying, and UGHHHH it was so humiliating."

and you groaned

and ran a hand through your hair

AND THEN YOU LOOKED OVER AT HIM BECAUSE

park jisung just fuCKING GRABBED YOUR HAND

he's like lowkey stroking your knuckles with his thumb

you looked between his face and your hands repeatedly

because he's just looking forward

BUT LOWKEY HOLDING YOUR HAND LIKE

so you clear your throat like

this fucker didn't even look at you

he was just like "mmhmm?"

so you're like

"uhhh,,,, you're uh,,,, i'm- what's up....?"

you're all flustered and such

he just laughs a little and f i n a l l y looks at you

"Well,,,, i'm hoping that i'm comforting you,,,,, and i'm building up confidence"

and now you're even more confused

"i- i mean,,,, this is comforting,,, but like,,,, confidence for what??"

WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING

he look DOWN this time

and he's all like

'shit this can't be happening'

"uhhhh,,,,, confidence to,,,, confess something?"

AND NOW HE'S ALL SHY AND AWKWARD AGAIN

and you don't go assuming so you're like

"ummm, okay? but confess what?"

and then Jisung groans and then laughs like

"ugghgghhgh this didn't go as plannedddddd"

"I like you, Y/N, a lot...."

and you're like lowkey confused and you're like 'wait,,, the fuck is happening'

but you finally come to your damn senses and are like

"ohhhh,,,, i uh,,, i like you a lot too Jisung"

and he like chokes real quick

but he resorts in just smiling at you,,, lowkey in disbelief

so you smile back and like hold his hand properly

and now he's exploding inside because

oH SHIT YOU LIKE HIM BACK

he doesn't really know what to do so he's just like

",,,,,what now? I'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE"

and you're all like

"oh uhh,,, me either,,,,,,"

so he like thought back to what Mark told him and he's all like

"uhhhh,, do you want to go on a date,,,?"

(SHIT JISUNG IS SO CUTE)

you're lowkey dying again

but you just smile and are like

"ahh sure"

and he's like 'yey'

and y'all decide to plan it some other time

so that happened,,,, and then you had to go back to class

(you two weren't inside because y'all got locked out before the next presentation)

and y'all are casual when you get back into class

in your usual seats

after a few more presentations y'all get a break

and your close friend (from earlier) turns to you and asks if you're okay and such

you just nod and tell her you're fine

you were smiling so big though so yeah she believed you

you and Jisung kind of accidentally started a secret relationship

it went on for like a month

and then y'all were so comfortable around each other and you accidentally held hands while walking down the hall

key word there is accidentally

y'all just didn't realize

and then your friend was like

"THE FUCK FAM WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME????"

you're confused for a second and then you look down at your hands and are like

"OH SHIT LMAO SORRY"

and then Jisungs friends find out and y'all are just like

'ohp okay then,,,,,, wasn't expecting this'

and you two were finally public with the relationship

it was definitely a change from the awkward shit that went down a month before

once everyone knew

y'all became that adorable couple everyone thought was hella cute and perfect for each other

ah adorable.

hi there, I’m jewel :)

she/her/hers ・ 20 ・ kpop (writing) blog

Yes, Jewel is my real name although my parents admit I was supposed to be named elizabeth but changed their minds last minute after I was born how cute and I’m currently in university. I study political science and japanese for those wondering (because yes, I am japanese and it’s helpful when you live in hawaii to have that degree yk?). If any of this stuff is even mildly interesting and you have any curiosities, pls feel free to ask me!

I try to write some things when I can, so feel free to take a look at my masterlist. I also read A LOT of fics on this site, so also peep my recs if you feel like it. Warning: its mostly fluff and angst and almost always includes smut but there’s some really good stuff worth reading still!

I try my hardest to be active as much as possible but it’s taken me over a year to finally get used to tumblr lol marklee and i both struggle with complex technology i guess Of course, there are times when I get busy with college and will probably seem to drop off the face of the planet exam season kills but now that I’ve been in quarantine for a month, I figured now is the best time to start building an active tumblr routine.

Bias List

Before I begin, I will warn that this is basically a giant NCT shxtpost. With LOTS of hyperlinks for educational purposes and absolute crackhead-ery. I’ll eventually make a separate list for other groups I stan, but this blog is mainly NCT and this is already so long so I’ll leave it as this. Enjoy!

Johnny Suh, it’s official. Don’t know how to explain, but I love everything about him. In the end, it’s always him. damn i sound like y/n thoughts but istg it’s true From SM Rookies to NCT Life to MV behinds, he’s the one. But I’ve also come to realize that I find myself most relatable to him as a person and I think that’s why no one else can trump him wow narcissist much jewel It’s kind of just my gut feeling. It also helps that hes the fluffiest tall, muscular tight booty hottie on the planet. Not gonna lie, I HAD IT BAD FOR MARK LEE still do and yet Johnny overcame that. If mark lee were my first love, johnny is my soulmate.

He didn’t stand out to me much in the beginning because I was either deaf or blind but after Chain, the game was OVER. +moon taeil in shorts?? serve them thighs honey. Love you bebe tomato <3

BUT Doyoung is the #1 bias wrecker here because have you seen his cover of beautiful on masked singer?? have you?? if not, let me educate you. Also his collab with Sejeong?? Literally the cutest MV ever, perfect for Christmas, listened to it every year since it’s release.

THE Jung Jaehyun. For reasons that need no explanation. but ill give it anyway smh

After watching the performance of herin and jaehyun singing a whole new world I knew that was it for me. (I still watch it once a month for my jaehyun-related health and to honor SM’s biggest loss, seo herin and ji hansol but thats for another conversation) back to jaehyun His vocals are unique in NCT and bring a nice color to their songs, the man looks good in literally anything, and I’ll probably say this about every member, but I love his dance style--body rolls for days sis. Definitely my ideal type, which my boyfriend is 100% aware of; no secrets in my relationship ofc which explains the wreckage. Pretty sure 81% of the fandom gets wrecked by him daily, so I think I’ll stop here.

NCT Dream

Renjun. why? i just think he’s neat but no really, it was this performance (ok actually this got me ALL SORTS OF WRECKED) and this fancam that had me falling in love with him but were gonna ignore the fact that I get bias wrecked DAILY by all the other members GOd-tier vocals, personality for daysssssss, variety KING HUANG RENJUN. Safe to claim that I go into renjun feels about 3x a week. Check my twitter for proof. +dnyl renjun was a blessing and I sometimes cant believe that it actually happened. How do I explain?? He’s literally the best boy, but when he gets all worked up....let’s stop there before I have to go to confession again.

But for fun, lets list why I have biased every dream member at some point shall we? (in no particular order) Dream might just be my ult group, songs always bop, members at star quality

mark- yes i am including mark bc he was the reason i even started stanning dream dreamies leader since mmc days, mentor, A1 rap skills, ad libs go crazy, unparalleled dancing style, hardest worker, cutest watermelon advocate ever, all around amazing person can you tell he used to be my ult? + he’s a good christian boy and my catholic *ss has to confess my sins for being a simp for him 24/7

chenle- vocal GOD, most steady live vocals in kpop, laugh to die for

jeno- i cannot resist his eye smile i wanna cuddle and onstage charisma-2:54 “let’s goooooo” and i alskfdfjlkdldkfa.

jaemin- “other than my members, i don’t have any friends” and yet he’s literally the most caring and wonderful little puff in existence fight me pls dont im a pacifist

heachan- idk why but donghyukie feels like he could be my best friend and also cant stop staring at him in their dance practices his body proportions are unreal and his vocal ad libs?? don’t even get me STARTED on heachans vocals

jisung- he is my son, but also my son’s vocals?? MWAH that voice got me second guessing if he’s really my son

Ten Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul another member where it kinda just....happened? In the end I was like “damn, when did you sneaky bugger get in my heart?” He’s got a similar vibe as Johnny AND DO NOT COME FOR MY THROAT FOR SAYING THAT THATS MY OPINION Like Johnny, I see myself in Ten. There are so many reasons why I love Ten, so I’ll make it simple and provide them to you.

Reason 1 - Performance/dance he just hit different, he’s THAT good. Reason 2 - vocals the amount his vocals has improved?? UNMATCHED. Reason 3 - INTELLECTUAL (still trying to find the clip of him talking about different kinds of love) Reason 4 - multi-lingual KING ok so this vid is him struggling in mandarin, but imagine, you speak thai and english and learn korean to debut and all of a sudden your agency says “ok learn chinese now.” MANDARIN IS ONE OF THE HARDEST LANGUAGES TO LEARN. Reason 5 - bad b*tch he just radiates bad bitxh energy in everything he does, and I appreciate a bad bitxh

BUT I love wayv’s chaotic energy and chemistry so much that I literally love them all dreamies watch out

Not gonna be repetitive and SCREAM say that he’s underrated, because we all know that already. Just show winwin some love, ok? thank you.

Hi. Sorry if I'm bothering you or anything, but you seem nice, so... I'm new to the transformers fandom and bumblebee has taken over my heart, but I don't understand his backstory?? Like where he came from, what's a scout (he's a scout right), and stuff like that. Like I know it's different throughout universes and stuff but, do you know the basics?? Or anyone who I can ask? Thanks so much

YOOOOOOO Not sure what Bee you mean, either from tfp/rid or the comics, but I’m assuming it’s from the aligned continuity, which is rid/tfp/rescue bots/a lil bit of the movies/etc. I know a lot about bee from those, so I’ll try to condense his story from these pieces of media. Let’s goooooo

The Allspark in this continuity is the heart of primus, which was the first cybertronian along with unicron, but the important thing is that cybertronians come fully formed from this allspark. It’s assumed Bee was “born” from the well of Allsparks, which is where the heart is supposed to rest, sometime before the great war between the autobots and decepticons begins. It is from one of the last times it worked since cybertron became uninhabitable. He joined Optimus’s team after cybertron died on a big refugee ship called the ark, and has been with OP the longest besides ratchet. He got his voice box ripped out during an interrogation by megatron at a place called tyger pax. Hence his beepy-ness is prime.

A scout is a soldier or other person sent out ahead of a main force so as to gather information about the enemy’s position, strength, or movements. He looks for stuff that’d be generally harmful to his team and let them know so they can deal with it appropriately. That’s his job in tfp while on team prime!

After the war and Optimus reviving cybertron, he became a cop to recapture some of the fighting spirit in this new peaceful time on his homeworld. He receives some mysterious messages in reflections from his old leader and it guides him to earth to capture escapees from the crashed prison ship the alchemor. He builds a makeshift team there to help him dubbed “team bee”.

I think it’s weird that he’s a boxer during tfp but uses a spear shaped decepticon hunter during rid. The switch from hand to hand to a weapon must have happened during police academy training or some such. Maybe the design team went “he looks more authoritative with a spear. give him one.” Who knows? There’s also no good explanation for his drastic design change for rid as well. *shrugs*.He’s still very nice on the eyes, albeit they’re smaller now.

Bee pops in in some Rescue bots episodes, twice with his beepy prime self and once with his actual voice. Bee’s outfitted to look like the rescue bot’s simple style while retaining his prime design. He helps out with some rescues and alludes to what’s happening in prime/rid. Whatever is revealed is kind of vague which I think is due to how prime’s art/writing team had fights about where to take the show. Transformers has continuity problems that range far and wide across its media, so I understand the need to keep timeline somewhat straight.

You can also learn more from comics/shows/toys and get some info for yourself, but the wiki is always a good place to refer to stuff you don’t quite get. I do it after reading the mtmte comics a lot cause sometimes I just have no idea what issue a character came from or why a certain story plot is happening. There’s a lot of comics to collect, lol. You can also search for other transformers blogs and ask them stuff as well, my experience with the fandom overall has been fantastic and ridiculously welcoming. I think many people will be happy to answer your questions.
