in my ideal universe henriksen wouldn’t have died in s3 and would instead be a series long recurring character with a holt/wuntch rapport with dean. henriksen walking into whatever small town station sam and dean are being held at and going “winchesters” and dean responding “henriksen. i wondered why all the birds had suddenly stopped singing.” i think this would’ve been fun but no. no supernatural isn’t allowed joy or whimsy.

that last scene of ep 2 was genuinely well done. kanghan is already going to be begin to change and it’s not because he’s fallen in love with him or anything but simply because he saw the actual violence sailom has to go through and seeing him actually affected by it and seeing him truly scared for the first time. flashing back to his bullying and how sailom didn’t care because why would he when he’s going through shit like this? putting into perspective just what he’s done to him as well and also the fact this is all being caused by money.

How many stories have disabled y/n in this fandom? I’ve seen a merman one with a above-knee prosthetic (I am so sorry if that’s the wrong term). I think you could call @paper-lilypie ‘s y/n’s allergies disabling because of the sheer detriment they are to the character’s health. I believe @twinanimatronics has mentioned they have ADHD, I’m sorry if that’s wrong my memory is crap, so the protag could be viewed as such? But what other types of disabled y/n’s do we have? Are there any wheelchair bound? Blind? Deaf? How about cane users?

I recently finished All The Light We Cannot See and I thought it was absolutely beautiful. What stood out to me the most is how it depicted people. It portrayed very well the complexity of humans and how people very rarely do bad things or follow bad people simply because they want to. People do bad things because they are desperate or angry or scared. They do bad things because they believe that they are making the world better. I know that this is easy to talk about when you look at things from an outside perspective and next to impossible to think about when someone is hurting you. Still, I'm glad this show reminded me of that. It was very inspiring to me.
