Best Anime Couples-Ships Winter 2024 Week 7

Vote For Couples/Ships of the Week!

Top 4 remains the same, but Tomozaki and Minami went up 3 spots after Minami confessed to Tomozaki. Because of their rise, Rin and Shiemi from Blue Exorcist has gone down three spots. Ataru and Lum reenter Top 10.

My end-of-the-winter-anime-season rankings:

1. The Wrong to Use Healing Magic (one of the best isekai in a long time)

2. A Sign of Affection (really picked up after Itsuomi and Oushi became friends)

3. Chained Soldier (fun)

4. The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil (surprise of the season)

5. Surgeon Elise (Linden and Elise are my couple of the season)

6. Classroom of the Elite (idk why but the episodes felt like they ended fast, but still entertaining)

7. Solo Leveling (fantastic if you like action)

8. The Witch and the Beast (Ashaf is my favorite character of the season)

9. Villainess Lvl 99 (started off strong, but the stupid misunderstandings and the CGI dragon dumbed it down)

10. Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside (wholesome, but Ruti having feelings for Red is not so wholesome)

11. Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki-kun (although I’m fine who he ended up with, the latter half of the season was pretty boring)

12. Tales of Wedding Rings (ok harem, but that’s it)

13. 7th Time Loop (I know this may be quite the unpopular opinion with this being this so low, but I honestly found it boring for the most part; also falling in love with the guy that’s killed you multiple times is wild)

14. My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered (introduced way too many characters before the watchers could give a card about them before they died)

15. Demon Prince of Momochi House (weird, boring, not a lot of it makes sense to me)

First Impression: Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki 2nd Stage

The first day of the second term is about to begin for Tomozaki and the rest of his crew, which means new goals given by Hinami as he continues to play this game of life. And so, the second season of Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki begins with Tomozaki having progressed through the game quite a lot; he’s no longer “bottom-tier,” as demonstrated by all the greetings he receives on the first day back from friends who are “winning” in the game of life. Tomozaki spends the rest of the term’s first day observing interpersonal relationships, discovering that Nakamura and Izumi are now officially (but secretly) a couple, and witnessing the shy Hirabayashi being harangued by Erika Konno into becoming the class’s girls’ captain for the upcoming sports day. That last bit sets the stage for a new goal that Hinami gives Tomozaki: to get Konno motivated for the sports tournament. In a most RPG way, Tomozaki will have to use strategies—”items” he discovers, information about Erika’s weaknesses (primarily from Yuzu), and advice he’s given (the most significant from his lazy coworker, the newly introduced Gumi)—to win this game. It won’t be easy, but Tomozaki is motivated. And as the episode ends, he announces that he has an approach to achieve victory.

Banger first day of the Winter 2024 season. Every premiere except You Zitsu s3 was great. As usual, Lerche butchered that one 🤦🏽‍♂️ but Mahoako/Gushing Magical Girls and Tomozaki S2 were the clear faves. Ishura could be a dark horse of the season. Really interesting world, post apocalyptic.. we’re eating good.

I’ll as usual be doing write ups on here for seasonals, but given a lot of my posts don’t really get any love, I won’t be doing EVERY seasonal like I have for the last two seasons. For those you can check out my myanimelist and Reddit posts for. I’ll probably stick to the biggest and most popular shows on here since that’s what people like and reblog. Not worth 20 minutes looking for screenshots of an ep for 1 like lol.
