How's this...

You always spend a large portion of your time with Casey laughing. Whether it's because he's randomly thrown your over his shoulder while crossing the road. It's really late so the road is empty, so no one sees your mock kidnapping as Casey runs down the block with you on his shoulder. Your laughter echoing around you both.

Or when he decided to non stop tickle your as you walked home another night. You laughed so much you couldn't breathe, and had to sit on the floor. "Get up, the floor is freezing" Casey scolds, picking you up by your arms. He has to hold you while you try to catch your breath so you can walk home. "I'll carry you" he offers. Your protest, still taking deep breaths. "Give. Me. Five" you laugh, clutching your chest with one hand.

But the laughing isn't the best part. It gets better. When you curse yourself for wearing a small leather jacket, rather than a proper coat and the night air is cold. Casey offers his jacket, but all he wears is a thin plaid shirt and you'd rather he didn't die of hypothermia on the way back to yours. So when you decline he tucks you under his arm, tighter against his body. You feel warmer instantly.

And he smells so good, you plan on steeling that shirt...even if he has to go home topless. Or maybe he just won't go home ever.

And then he pulls you closer to his chest and buries half his face into the top of your head as he kisses the top of your head. You tighten your grip around his waist.

And when it feels like he's going to remove his arm from around your neck, you grab onto his arm, keeping it in place. But really all he's doing is showing you his new ring. "I thought you were going to let go of me" you mumble with a laugh. "Never" he grins.

roleplayer role call —

hello guys, gals, and non-binary pals! i'm hoping you can help a girl out.

what i have is a lot of energy, and i'm antsy and itching to write. what i don't have is someone to write with, and a place to put all that juice. you see my dilemma? you know that struggle.

i'd love to find someone new to write with! i'm a bit rusty with the 1-on-1s, been doing a lot of group writing on discord the past year, but really sitting down, hammering out a plot that satisfies our mutual need for things like fluff, hurt feelings, and a whole lot of delicious in-character drama and ow? that's is more my speed right now.

side note: groups are not entirely off the table! if you got one on discord that's chill and active, i want to hear about it!

i'm 25+, based in est time zone, with no limits and minimal triggers. i write virtually every type of plot or pairing under the sun: slice of life, history, fandom (books, movies, tv shows, video games). i'm open to almost all plots, pairings, and tropes under the sun. god i love me some tropes. would also love to find someone comfortable writing smut, i could always use some practice!

i am a character hoarder. if we got a good thing going, i will most likely ask about expanding our universe and adding more characters, if it's appropriate to our plot. just as a heads up, i do tend to write women from the get go, so i'd love a double pair - one mxf, one fxf!

So full disclaimer, I have no idea how finding new writing partners works as I’ve only ever rp’d with people I’ve met in groups and this is purely a sideblog to find people, but since I can’t go back to sleep due to #anxiety about an interview, here goes nothing:

Basically, hi I’m Carla, I’m 23, and as stated above, I’m currently searching for new partners to write with. I’m located in the central european timezone and have no triggers.

Now a little bit about my writing, what I’m looking for, etc.: I tend to write muses aged 25-43 with a couple of exceptions. I don’t do fandom, disney, supernatural, mythology, or similar genres of rp. I pretty much only write characters based on real life (not sure what you call it) and real life plots. I also tend to like darker plots/themes/characters so exes, angst, cheating, crime, criminals, assholes, femme fatales, etc. are all things I enjoy and like to flesh out. I’m admittedly not a huge fan of pure fluff or domestic happy-go-lucky pairings. I need drama and to ruin their lives at least at some points. If this isn’t for you, that’s totally fine, we just probably won’t be a good match! With this in mind, I prefer to rp against muses and muns who are 20+ and I absolutely won’t rp with anyone or any muse under 18. I don’t really know what else to put here other than like this and I’ll message you or message me if you’re interested! Also, please be sure to check out my rules here.

you know what i want???? a young married couple (20-22 years old) that pretty much used to be fuck buddies for a while and then she got pregnant and they got married bc it felt like it was the ‘right thing to do’ but none of them were really ready for the commitment. and now he’s realizing how much stuff he’s been missing out on and he just wants to live his life and go out with his friends and be with a bunch of girls but instead he has to stay home with his wife and his kid and it’s just all too much so they get into this big fight and she’s like ‘BUT I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU!!’ and that only scares him even more so he leaves and they basically live their separate lives for a few months until he’s at a club and he sees her with some other guy and it’s like fUck nO!! and everything comes back to him, all their memories && everything and holy shit he might be in love with her too?? and so he makes it his goal to get her back but he broke her heart so it won’t be eaSY??? pls gimme ( source. )

someone let me play a cute young nanny working for a single dad who is just in over his head, and she loves the kids, and they love her, but she’s taking online classes to eventually become a teacher which means she’d have to leave them, and the kids hate that idea so they beg their dad to marry her, not fully understanding what that means. give me an age gap that makes them both think they can’t have the other, even though they both do. pleasseeee

i just feel like a cute little marriage plot based on married at first sight would be so adorable and cute like two people randomly getting matched up based on their dislikes/likes and getting married and meeting at the alter and then having to develop crushes on each other a few weeks into their marriage wow help me please

i r e a l l y want a plot where their parents own competing companies and they’ve grown up hating each other and now that they work for their parents in a high level position they’re like enemies BUTevery time one goes to visit the other for meetings + such there’s like this crazy sexual tension and they end up fucking in each other’s offices and hook up at high profile events and such and they are both just doing it to fuck with the other but then they start getting jealous when they see paparazzi pics of the other with a mystery man/woman and they eventually realize that ‘oh fuck, i actually like them’

What about a plot of a personal assistant and a celeb? One where she’s been working for him since he had gotten famous. He can’t go anywhere without her and brings her everywhere he goes. They are more like best friend than boss and assistant. The media jokes about how they act like a married couple. And he can’t help but mention her during interviews. Sometimes they even sleep in the same hotel room when she’s working late. BUT NO IT’S TOTALLY PLATONIC!! That cuddling they did the other night?? Completely what friends do!

cue muse a, the overworked, caring waitress/er at a dingy diner who works the night shift, skating around to the music playing in the juke box every night. in the middle of her favorite song, muse b enters, an exhausted businessman/woman who couldn’t bear to go home to their bickering partner. muse a takes their order and ends up chatting with them throughout their shift, where muse b feels alive and invigorated in the stunning waitress/er. muse b just doesn’t want them to know about their partner just yet, so for every night they meet, muse b leaves their ring in the car.

muse a lives in a small town, where everyone is close and the mood is always happy, but muse a has a secret. they have an overwhelming crush on muse b, the town’s best farmer who’s widowed and caring for their newborn child. muse a constantly helps around the farm muse b owns, and when muse b complains and apologizes for the lack of maintenance around the farm, muse a immediately offers to be a live-in babysitter. muse b agrees and muse a nearly swoons from the aspect of seeing their beloved muse b all day, every day.

idk okay but ! i want a plot where two young journalists are assigned to work together overseas, and whoops, oh no, the hotel booked them into the same room … and there’s only one big bed … they’ve gotta work alongside each other everyday and live in close quarters …. and there’s clashes and awkward moments and tension and all the good shit

I really, REALLY want a plot where a son of a dangerous and feared mobster is put in charge of managing his father’s strip club and falls for one of the dancers.

can i have a plot where best friends drifted as they got older because lets be real they were in love and never wanted to admit it because it scared the hell out of them so they went their own way and now 10 years later, they bump into each other and it’s like things havent changed except oh wait, he’s engaged to be married and they spend the last few weeks leading up to the wedding together and the final night they end up sleeping together (for the first time) and things get angsty because they realize that they are in love and theyre the ones supposed to be married, but she cant bring herself to ruin something he’s built without her ?????? and he pushes the wedding date because he wants her and JUST PLS

BIOGRAFIA: Orgulhosos de suas raízes, a família Guinness destacava-se pelo apego aos seus antepassados e costumes irlandeses, de tal maneira que sua intrincada história ainda era contada oralmente aos filhos mesmo nos dias de hoje. Em um antigo contrato com os deuses, os Guinness venderam seus primogênitos à eles para garantir que bençãos continuassem recaindo sobre suas cabeças e seu legado fosse assegurado. Contanto que o primeiro filho de cada casal pertencesse a um deus ou deusa grego, continuariam progredindo através das eras e seu sobrenome nunca seria esquecido ou apagado. Incautos casais, jovens e apaixonados, haviam tentado por mais de uma vez quebrar aquele pacto sagrado, tendo de observar em silêncio as diversas dores sofridas por seus semelhantes como consequências de suas ações.

Recaiu sobre os ombros de Jacob Guinness dar continuidade à linhagem então. Ele desposou seu primeiro amor, Saoirse, e juntos sonhavam em construir um futuro maravilhoso. Tarde demais, porém, ele percebeu que não queria continuar aquele patético costume de seus antepassados. Afiliado ao IRA e com ligações ao Sinn Fein, era um rebelde por natureza, indisposto a seguir ordens de deuses nos quais nem acreditava. Recusou-se a deitar com alguém que não fosse sua esposa, gerando seu primogênito completamente humano, e despertou a ira das divindades helênicas. Seu castigo veio pela mão de Éris, que tomou a forma de sua esposa e lhe deixou um bebê como castigo ao final de tudo.

Este bebê era Murphy, que fora acolhido no seio dos Guinness por não ter culpa no ocorrido. Ainda que Saoirse não fosse sua mãe biológica, lhe tratava como filho, assim como todos os vários irmãos que vieram em seguida. Todavia, a influência de Éris sobre sua árvore genealógica não havia acabado. Ela não apenas manipulou o destino para que Jacob virasse um procurado nacional por terrorismo, como também envenenou a mente de seu primeiro filho para servir de testemunha à polícia e safar seu couro ao denunciar os próprios pais. Além disso, mandou que seus filhos, os Males, visitassem Murphy e lhe dessem uma maldição: ele os experimentaria, um de cada vez, ao longo de sua vida, apenas pelo erro que seu pai havia cometido.

Jacob e a família foram obrigados a fugir para os Estados Unidos da América e viver se escondendo. Viviam cheios de medo, em uma casa humilde, através dos poucos ganhos do bar familiar aberto na parte mais pesada daquela cidade. Jacob criou os filhos como soldados. Disciplinados, recebiam não apenas treinamento para condicionamento físico e outras habilidades úteis, mas também sobre táticas de batalha. Aos poucos foram se instalando e virando queridos pela vizinhança, ainda mais quando decidiram que, para acabar com a violência imperando no local, tinham de sair às ruas e fazer justiça com as próprias mãos.

Os Guinness se tornaram uma família de vigilantes brutais. Ainda viviam escondidos pelo status de Jacob, mas eram respeitados. Quando Murphy completou 15 anos, porém, ele, o pai e a irmã mais nova estavam em um posto de gasolina quando um policial à paisana o reconheceu. Ele não hesitou em puxar a arma da cintura e abrir fogo contra Jacob, e o homem não resistiu aos três tiros à queima-roupa, morrendo ali mesmo. Murphy conseguiu fugir com a irmã e voltar à residência, onde informou o que havia ocorrido, e sua mãe imediatamente desmoronou. Uma nuvem negra parecia ter se instaurado sobre a família Guinness, e ela não iria ir embora tão cedo.

Éris escolheu aquele momento para aparecer diante de Murphy e convidá-lo a se juntar ao instituto. Foi necessária uma longa conversa para convencê-lo de que ela era real — pois os Guinness eram católicos fervorosos —, mas Murphy concordou em segui-la para o Olympus. Lá ele passou alguns anos caóticos. De cara amarrada pela distância e naturalmente introvertido, foi difícil se adaptar. Não fazia questão de ser amigo de ninguém, ansiava apenas pela batalha, de maneira que agarrou com unhas e dentes a sua primeira oportunidade de sair daquele lugar: o chamado do exército.

Murphy deixou o instituto com seu treinamento semideus pela metade para dedicar-se aos campos de batalha humanos. Ele teve de abrir mão de sua própria linhagem para se alistar, mas acreditava estar indo para algum lugar onde poderia deixar sua agressividade fluir sem causar maiores danos, além de ajudar pessoas da única maneira que sabia fazer. Sua carreira militar, surpreendentemente, deu certo. Foi tão célebre que passou a integrar as Forças Especiais do Exército dos Estados Unidos, os famosos Boinas Verdes, durante seu aniversário de trinta anos.

Durante uma operação particularmente complexa, porém, Murphy perdeu o controle após presenciar cenas perturbadoras. Seus problemas com violência já eram muito comentados no esquadrão, em como ele poderia ser particularmente cruel com os soldados sob seu comando que cometessem atrocidades com civis; daquela vez, porém, ele mesmo espancou um homem até a morte. Talvez por sorte ou puro destino, ele também se feriu gravemente durante a operação, perdendo 75% da visão do olho esquerdo. Em uma tentativa de evitar maiores escândalos, decidiram aposentá-lo com o Coração Púrpuro e mandá-lo para casa.

Mas depois de tanto tempo negando suas raízes, Murphy já não se sentia feliz em ir para a casa da família. Ele não precisou pensar por muito tempo, porém. Optou por voltar com o rabo entre as pernas para o Olympus, onde sabia que ainda possuía negócios inacabados, e esperava conseguir obter maior controle sobre si e seus traumas.

HABILIDADES: 01. LÍNGUA DE PRATA: A cria de Éris possui uma língua habilidosa para induzir ideias nas mentes alheias, apresentando facilidade não apenas em mentiras e trapaças, mas também na indução da discórdia entre seus alvos. Espalhar rumores e boatos nunca foi tão fácil.

02. CAOS EPIDÊMICO: Através do toque pode descarregar energia caótica em um objeto e fazê-lo quebrar imediatamente. De forma similar, pode "carregar" um objeto como condutor de sua energia e lançá-lo para que exploda ao tocar no alvo ou em um momento pré-determinado.

03. CONFUSÃO MENTAL: Sendo sua mente um lugar de desordem e caos, o semideus não pode ser afetado por poderes que a envolvam. Ilusões, telepatia, sedução e outros métodos acabam se perdendo no meio da confusão de seus pensamentos.

04. ASAS NEGRAS I: Dentre suas escápulas surgem duas cicatrizes em formato de V ao contrário, e estas tomam a forma de asas com penas negras. Os apêndices podem ser fortificados ao comando mental do indivíduo, envolvendo-o como um escudo, enquanto as pontas de suas penas são afiadas como lâminas e podem ser utilizadas como arma. Ainda não consegue utilizá-las para voar, porém.

05. LEI DE MURPHY: O semideus pode escolher desencadear o caos ao seu redor. Assim, tudo que pode dar errado na cena, dará — as máquinas quebram, as coisas caem e se perdem, os assistentes esquecem relatos cruciais, o encanamento se rompe, os pneus furam, e etc — embora nada que ameace a vida seja resultado dessas falhas. O que permite uma fuga, operação secreta ou apenas diversão. O usuário não é imune ao caos ao seu redor, mas tem a vantagem de saber que as falhas irão acontecer. As coisas continuam a dar errado até o final da cena.

06. OLHO DA TORMENTA: Em uma situação de emergência, é capaz de encontrar o “olho da tempestade”, o único local de calmaria no meio da desordem, uma mesa afastada num bar, perto de uma escada de incêndio ou porta, etc. Milagrosamente permanece intacto na confusão, durante o tempo em que não envolver-se ativamente. Apenas catástrofes ambientais não se enquadram aqui, mas feras ou grupo de desordeiros, todos passam sem tocá-lo durante uma guerra ou briga de bar.

07. ASAS NEGRAS II: Finalmente, suas asas atingem o potencial total e agora o semideus pode utilizá-las para voar, criar ventos fortes e até mesmo pequenos tornados com o auxílio dos apêndices. Ganha também uma adaptação pulmonar natural para conseguir respirar normalmente.

PRÍNCIPE DAS MENTIRAS: Aumentando seu poder de causar confusão mental, agora consegue criar e manipular ilusões, fazendo com que seus alvos sejam enganados através dos cinco sentidos com coisas que não existem ou percebendo coisas diferentemente do que realmente são. Entretanto, suas ilusões ainda são suscetíveis aos seus erros comuns, quanto mais elaboradas forem (por exemplo, esquecer de adicionar sombras às formas, colocar algo em um lugar errado, etc).

REVOLTA IMEDIATA: Quando perto de uma multidão, basta gritar uma frase de comando ou alarde, um simples “Guerra de comida!” no refeitório ou “Fogo!” próximo a um incêndio, desde que apropriado às circunstâncias, consegue começar uma revolta imediatamente. Mortais são mais afetados, os mais fracos imediatamente perdem todo o senso de decoro e civilidade e começam a destruir tudo, trabalhando em massa para causar danos materiais, perseguir e atacar os infelizes mais determinados que não vão com o fluxo (geralmente pessoas que fogem do caos, como a polícia).

10. MORDA A MAÇÃ: Embora o conceito de pecado não exista na mitologia grega, o filho de Éris pode sentir e manipular os pecados e vícios próprios e de outros, seja aumentando, diminuindo ou até mesmo induzindo.

11. AMIGOS SÃO BEM-VINDOS: Considerando a presença de Éris no Tártaro, sua prole pode invocar monstros e criaturas diretamente da dimensão obscura e estes não apenas responderão ao seu chamado, como respeitarão seus comandos e irão protegê-lo.

12. DESTRUIÇÃO É UMA FORMA DE CRIAÇÃO: Sua energia caótica torna-se tão significante que pode desprender-se em ondas. Ela não apenas desperta sentimentos de discórdia e confusão entre outras pessoas, como também distorce construções e as monta novamente em configurações impossíveis.

13. CAOS RASTEJANTE: Atinge o ápice de sua capacidade de indução. Um olhar é o suficiente para fazer com que criaturas percam completamente suas mentes — passam a arranhar seus próprios rostos, dedicar-se a padrões de comportamento histéricos, amaldiçoar os nomes dos próprios deuses ou gritar até morrer de exaustão. A insanidade causada pela cria de Éris, por mais que possa ser removida, ainda deixa marcas profundas nas mentes dos desgraçados que a experimentam.
