White uniform coated in blood, Peter made his way out of the Labs front doors for the first time in almost 20 years. The sting of the fresh air hit his nostrils as he strode off into the woods, quick to put a distance between him and the lab. Finally free of the cruelty he'd so long endured.

His bright, albeit stained clothes were quite the contrast to the lush green of the forest he walked through. Knowing he would be easily spotted he needed to find a place to hide, and quickly. He'd eliminated most of the Dr's, guards, and subjects in the lab before he escaped, but he heard the alarm start blaring as he ran off, knowing at least someone inside survived, and knew he'd gotten out.

He made his way to the edge of the forest, finding the main highway that runs through Hawkins. Grinning to himself he crouched down by a tree and waited. He needed the perfect opportunity to get a ride. The perfect prey to take him where he needed to go. Home.

Luckily for Peter, he didn't have to wait long. A small, blue car approached, and he could hear that there was only one occupant inside. He used his powers to hault the vehicle as it passed him, easy to not destroy it, or the person inside. He flicked his head to the side and the engine died. He stayed crouched where he was as the driver door opened.

You stepped out of the car, in utter confusion. Peter watched your delicate body walk to the front of the vehicle, popping the hood, the look of defeat spreading across your face. "Perfect" he whispers to himself before moving out of his hiding spot. He slowly makes his way towards you, fascinated by your immediate defeat. He will be able to easily manipulate you, and that's exactly what he wants.

Peter watches you slowly make your way back into the drivers seat of your car, hearing soft sobs coming from you as he approaches the back of your vehicle. A sense of delight rises in his chest. He saunters out from behind your car and slowly speaks. "Excuse me, are you ok?" He asks calmly, hands up as to not startle you, more than his blood stained appearance already will. You immediately notice the crimson bleeding into his shirt and your eyes widen.

"Dont be alarmed, this is all mine, got into a nasty fight and was thrown out of a truck, I promise you are safe." Peter reassures you as he takes a step closer. "Im Peter, you okay?" He asks again.

"I, um" you choke between sobs, "my car just stopped working, and I am lost, and I don't know how to fix it" you blurt, wiping your eyes. A spark lights inside Peter as you speak. Something he as never felt before. He chalks it up to the thrill of his prey before him, so pitiful and helpless. He shifts his body as he looks up at you again.

"I can help you with that" he says darkly, eyes devouring you where you sat. You look up at him, initially only seeing sweetness in his face as he acknowledges your approval and makes his way to the hood of the car. You start to step out but he motions you to stay put, and is almost visibly delighted at how quickly you oblige, sinking back into your seat.

He pretends to fiddle under the hood for a moment, before making his way back over to you. "Try it now," he says. You turn the key and are delighted to hear the engine start immediately, relief filling your body. You look up at the man that helped you, small smile spread on his face. "Thank you so much" you squeal excitedly. "Please, let me give you a ride, its the least I can do" you add.

Peter flashes you a dark smile as he opens your passenger door. Mask falling the moment the door closes behind him. He places his hand on the back of your neck, with a sharp, painful grip. "Oh bunny," he coos, noticing the quick shift in your demeanor, the fear rising to the surface of your skin like fire. He sees you glance out the window, searching for help, "awe, Bunny" he squeezes the back of your neck tighter as he forces you to face him. "Drive, now, and I might spare you" Peter whispers, using his free hand to wipe a tear from your eye. "Now" He demands.

You hesitate, fear ridden. You are about to protest before you feel a firm slap across your face. Tears well in your eyes again as you hear the man grow more impatient next to you. "Fucking, DRIVE" he spits, grip on your neck so tight you see stars. "Ok, 'm sorry" you whimper, before gaining enough composure to put the car in gear. You pull back onto the road, heart thumping out of your chest.

You drive in silence for a few minutes, before you come to the fork in the highway, taking you either to or away from downtown Hawkins. You Flash Peter a nervous look, waiting for him to tell you where to go. He flashes you another dark smile. "Do you know where the Creel house is?" He asks, slightly loosening his grip when he sees you nod. "Take us there Bunny" he says, while he strokes your neck with his thumb.

You know something is wrong. You can feel it. Peter has no plan on letting you go, and it's becoming more and more clear the closer you get to the decrepit house he asked you to take him to. "Take us there"........You shuddered. Of course Peter noticed, and he softly chuckles to himself. You pull into the driveway and stop. Heart thumping painfully in your chest as you kill the engine. You look over at Peter and see what you had first thought was a sweet smile on his face. Now he just looked dangerous, scary, dark, his eyes boring into you as he tilted his head.

He was admiring you. He couldn't seem to help it. You were so pretty. So soft. So delicate. So easy........ He'd got you to bring him here, with far less resistance than he was expecting. Now he was sure he couldn't let you go, he had to keep you with him, under any cost. He didn't know why right then, he just knew you were his now, and that's all he cared about.

He once again firms his grip around the back of your neck, using the pressure to guide you out of the car through the passenger side with him, quickly scooping you into his arms before you could think to escape. His body tightened when you wrapped your hands around him, again showing no resistance to him whatsoever.

He carried you into the old house, bringing you upstairs to the attic before finally setting your feet on the floor. He locked the door behind him and shuffled in front of you, towering his body over your small frame. "Peter, are you gonna..." you start to say before he presses a finger on your chin, forcing you to look up at him. "Am I gonna hurt your?" He finishes for you, a coy grin on his face.

"No Bunny, I won't hurt you" he coos, a slight softness in his face for a split moment as he feels you relax under him. "Unless" he notes gripping your chin tighter "You don't do exactly. What. I. Tell. You." Peter seethes, tone darkening with each word. You nod at him sheepishly, hot tears welling in your eyes again as Peter wraps himself around you for a rough hug. "You're mine now Bunny" he whispers, as you sob into his chest.

it makes me feel very sad when i see everyone i consider friends like, talking about how much they don’t care about people or friendship or anything like that.  like it really bothers me a lot, i know it’s quarantine and we’re all fucking depressed so whatever it’s not like im saying “if you’re being introspective and i hate it kys” like whatever.

but it bothers me.  it really does.  it has always bothered me so much when people i regard highly turn around and do not care the same way for me.  and i know that’s the human condition; we all attach ourselves to people and those people are not obligated in any way to care the same way back.

because i do not understand, if you are so lonely, if that is the reason you are saying “it’s not even like i have friends”, the answer is not to say “well it doesn’t even really matter because i have like only 1 friend and they’re on thin fucking ice”.  like who are you?

i just feel like resentment in friendships is too common.  i think it’s all too common we internalize this “nobody in life stays forever!” and then decide okay we will just isolate ourselves and give no regard to who is in our lives and well if they stay great if they leave oh well.  you dont care?  tell people that.  tell people you do not care about them enough to put any emotional investment in whether they stay or go.

because i, at least, do not accept that as a terms of friendship. i am not going to continue to be your friend if you literally just are saying you do not care about people.  like that is so selfish.  that is literally so selfish.  i dont care if that’s rude.  you’re selfish!

didn’t it hurt you when you found out nobody cared about you?  didnt it hurt you when someone first told you you’d never been friends, they were just being your friend because they were being nice?  isn’t the primary problem you have that you’re disposable and nobody cares about you?  so why?  would you do?  the same?  to other people?

people on the internet and like in real life (cuz you know theyre the same thing) are just like.  so fucking convinced everyone is out to get them.  people literally will be like oh fuck this friendship didnt work out (which is allegedly a part of growth?) and then make it their personal journey to cut everyone off and never put any kind of work into any future relationship.  and then they cannot even see all the work people are putting in, how much time they invest into worrying about you, how much emotional occupancy you have in their heads.  if people are literally supposed to leave; that’s why you don’t care to put in the work, why do you get upset when people leave?

griping about people after the fact about things that genuinely are just minor inconveniences or whatever (they were boring, they were annoying, etc.) is just like.  so why didn’t you tell them this?  before you had to  let the whole thing rot?  why didn’t you tell them what they were doing so wrong?

is it because you knew it was rude?  is it because you knew they wouldn’t react well to it?  who fucking cares.  you were the one being selfish, deciding you would “try to deal with it”, then realized you couldn’t because they Kept Doing The Same Shit You Didn’t Like.  how is anyone supposed to know what their faults are, if we “all” have faults, and you yourself are not even aware of all of yours?

so instead of...talking about your problems so someone’s flaws aren’t the only thing you focus on, cuz it’s driving you insane, you just decide to emotionally check out and let whatever happens happen?  you literally deserve to be alone, you self-absorbed fuck.

people are not obligated to stick around you.  people are not obligated to keep being friends with you.  people have a RIGHT to know what they are doing that is making you, their friend, upset.  because people do not deserve to be cut off for something they DID NOT EVEN KNOW THEY WERE DOING and then have it be like, “oh fuck i’m a terrible person because i didn’t pick up on these subtle cues you couldnt fucking Stand Me.”  that is not?  someone’s fucking job?  to know what’s making you so upset?  oh my god???

and then it’s like people don’t stop, you feel like you’ve complained enough, but they won’t stop.  surely, they simply do not care.  so then you stop caring.  you’re like okay, if they won’t change, they clearly don’t value this relationship.  you’ll put up with it as long as you can, but “as long as you can” is like a month or two, and then it’s a nuclear explosion as you unload every nasty thought you’ve been steeping for the past [REDACTED].  who is that helping?

and then of course, these people run and hide behind “well this is why i need walls they couldn’t respect me”.  THEY couldnt respect YOU?  who was the one festering on wounds that could have been treated The Day After your friend came over got plastered and passed out drunk on your bathroom floor and then asked for a ride home when everyone’s drunk still?  did that bother you?  did you tell them, or did you tell them “no it happens to everyone hahaha dont even worry about it” and then get increasingly pissed the next time they come over and get plastered and wind up puking?  because those.  those are two different things i really dk how to make that any more clear.

it’s just like whatever for how hard everyone is for “communication” people will literally say that and then be like “oh well i.  i cant communicate see it’s like.  i just can’t do that it’s anxiety inducing if theyre my friend they should Know”.  do you know everything that pisses YOU off????  do you not care you’re clearly losing interest and patience with people, and now they feel especially obligated to make up for WHATEVER IT WAS THEY DID you refused to talk to them about?  why do you think everyone should cater to you, but oh wait, no they don’t, they should just realize You Don’t Care about your friends like that.

err I don’t really do fandom culture all too much LOL. As for communities I DO create content for and interact with: Vocaloid/vocal synth. I make covers, videos, and art and all that! I Also pop into the doll world once in a while, but i find it generally difficult to interact with people there, so most of the time i keep my doll Endeavours to myself (which isn't a bad thing!! I like having something i can relax and and have for just me 😏)

I went back to "Do Vocaloids Dream of Doomsday Bird" by Sasakure.uk again. One of my fav albums of all time. Its 2010 baybee!! The track Wanderlast ft. Megurine Luka has always had an impact on me so I'll say that 💕

Also been listening to "John Frustrated" by ippo.tsk feat. Cyber Diva and Eleanor Forte on repeat. I'm not the biggest fan of Eleanor's unenthusiastic sounding voice in most uses of her, but the song itself is a bop. Go girl give us nothing (@ eleanor)! funny that she was one of the first vocal synths i used.

🐝 recommend a movie. The Descent 2005 dir. Neil Marshall. One of the few horror movies to actually scare me. Plus the practical effects are rlly good!

chaotic energies incarnate (both literally and figuratively), noctibus ‘nox’ revels in poking and prodding wherever he shouldn’t with reckless abandon, earning the eternal ire of his more prim and proper twin sister. he prizes freedom and isnt one to shy away from a fight, but he holds a lot of self purpose and likes to help others grow stronger from past mistakes–he learned it all from personal experience, of course

despite their differences, he and nida work together in hunting down cases of intense chronic nightmares and other unnatural cognitive distortions. nox is the one who scouts in and out the dreamscape and fishes for weaknesses while nida swoops in for clean up duty and structural integrity.

they could thank their affinity to the dream mist for the hop up, but even with the ability enhancement they have long felt the occupation to also be an obligation. after being caught up in an ancient pandemic that ultimately led to him being locked away in an isolated island and having a very different meaning to the word ‘lunacy’… well, thats a story for another time

Chapter Eighteen Seeing Her Again (Michael)

Waiting two years was long enough. The year was 2020 and Michael was tired of everyone already. Jeff and Mutt were unbearable during the construction of their suites in Outpost Two and Venable complained about the technology in Outpost Three. He had donated the Hawthorne School to The Cooperative to retrofit to Venable’s specific specifications, except the plumbing. That was the only modern thing she wanted in the whole place. And he had to oblige her every whim so she would feel important enough to still work for them.

Michael had had enough after the first six months without Lilia but he knew that he just had to be patient. Even without Mead, he was ready to just wipe out the world.

Finally when the time came for the bombs to be dropped, he was in Outpost Ten underneath the south island of New Zealand. He had called the appropriate people in each country that would eliminate the world and he waited. Just under an hour and everyone who had bought a ticket was there and safe.

When their bomb dropped, the whole outpost shook and everyone screamed. Michael just hoped that Lilia had made it to the safest place for her.

While in the Outpost, Michael made everyone believe that there was a Sanctuary built in case the Outposts were overrun by the people contaminated by the blast outside. When in fact, there wasn’t such a place. It was just a ruse to get everyone to go crazy before he massacred everyone. All to make way for the new world him and his queen would create.

Working through each Outpost was easier than he had thought. Everyone in them were some of the most dumbest creatures he had ever imagined. Throw in some made up place of salvation to outlast the nuclear winter that the bombs had brought.

Moving from one to the next one on his list, Michael was saving the third Outpost for last. As he rode to the Outpost in full protective gear eighteen months after the bombs dropped, he felt the pain in his chest lessen as he got closer to his Lilia. He knew that she could feel it, too. But, he knew that she would be so very confused as to why she was so attracted to him.

Approaching the gates to the Outpost, he waved them open and raced the horses in. Waiting for him were three of the guards.

He got off his perch on the carriage and showed his ID, which had his thumbprint and blood type. “I’m here to see Ms. Venable.”

“Yes, Mr. Langdon.” That was Mead.

He smiled beneath his mask and walked toward the elevator down to the Outpost. “Tend to the horses.”

Waiting before the sitting room in front of the big fireplace, he heard the telltale sign of Ms. Venable’s cane against the floor. “I’m Wilhelmina Venable. I run this institution.”

He wanted to roll his eyes at her stupidity. He knew exactly what she was doing here. “Of course you are.”

“You don’t believe me?” He wanted to kill her.

“I do. I’m just surprised you managed to keep the chaos at bay. I’m sure you know that the other Outposts have been overrun. This one is sure to follow.” He explained. “I’ve been sent here to see if any of the occupants qualify for the Sanctuary. Those who don’t make it end up like my horses.”

With that, he walked away, Mead following behind him with his things from the carriage. He lead her to his old room and opened the door to let her place the bags just inside. He bowed his head to her and went inside, his heart pounding.

Michael could feel her, just down the hall from him. But he had to wait for the morning to see her again. He knew that the others would try their hardest to pass the Cooperating, but he wouldn’t really be listening. He just wanted to see her. He could feel her heartbreak over her friend and he wanted to soothe her heart by letting her know who he really was to her, but he had to wait.

Michael hoped that she would like his appearance than what he looked like when he wiped her memory. His hair was longer and a little straighter. He had finally learned how to apply the correct makeup for his complexion while she was away. His face was decorated in just a little red eyeshadow in the corner of his eyes, making his baby blue eyes pop.

He went over to his mirror and whispered the scrying spell to see what she was doing. It turns out that she had picked out her old room from when she taught her. That made him smile. She was sitting in just a slip and was reading a book about magic, whispering some spell that made the candles around her levitate. His smile grew as she was realizing her powers by herself.

“My love, you are overcoming the identity spell all on your own.” He whispered to himself as he made the image of his love disappear, getting ready for another sleepless night with her.

The next morning, Michael found himself walking in to the parlor where the survivors were waiting to see who had arrived and there she was. Lilia Snow, looking beautiful in the purple that she was deemed worthy to wear. She had another man’s arm around her shoulders and was looking at Michael with such lust in her eyes that he couldn’t move his own from hers.

He finally ripped his eyes from her when he made it to the front so he could see all of them. He got up in Venable’s space so she would move. And then he opened his mouth to explain the situation to the people before him.

“My name is Langdon and I represent The Cooperative.” He told them all. “I am sorry to inform you that all the other Outposts have been overrun and destroyed. Picked clean by the diseased.”

“What happened to the people that was inside them?” Asked the wretched man who had dared to touch the woman he loved.

“Massacred.” Michael breathed, trying to not rip the guy’s head off. “But, have no fear. There is another facility. The Sanctuary.”

One of the women scoffed at him and he glared at her, daring her to say something stupid. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Lilia bite her and his eyes went to her face. “The Sanctuary is a fail-safe, just on case all the other Outposts failed. I have come here to determine which of you are fit to join us. The facility is impregnable with safety protocols.”

“Excuse me, sir, but why weren’t we given them?” Mead smartly asked him.

“That’s classified. There are others to help repopulate the Earth.” Langdon said before he was interrupted again by the same idiot who still hadn’t removed his body from next to Lilia’s.

“Who are the others?” He asked.

“Also classified. The Cooperative has come up with a questioning method we like to call ‘Cooperating’” He smiled as the blonde spoke up.

“What is this, The Hunger Games? I paid my way here and that is all the cooperating I plan on doing.” She said so confidently that Michael felt sad for her.

“Then, you can stay here and die.” He said with an air of confidence that he smiled when he saw Lilia shiver and move away from the man next to her. Her scent brushed past him that it made him close his eyes and breathe her in, making him wish to have her in his arms yet again.

Michael reached into his pocket and brought out a small bottle of cyanide pills, holding them up for all of them to see. “If you aren’t selected, just down one of these. In about a minute, you will drift off to peaceful sleep and your pain and suffering will end. The Cooperating process shouldn’t take more than a few days.”

One of the men raised his hand as Michael’s eyes found Lilia’s again. “I volunteer to go first.”

“And so you shall.” He smiled a smile that said he hated them all and walked away from the woman who had plagued his life without her.

He was waiting in the shadows, watching her walk out of the room after him. He smiled as she leaned against the railing as she did so many times at Hawthorne after dealing with detention with a student.

“I’m pretty sure dinner has just been called.” He stepped out of the shadows and scared her.

She turned to him, her green eyes meeting his. “Mr. Langdon.” So formal with him, he hated it. “I’m sorry. I’m not feeling all that well. I thought I would go lay down in my room.”

He watched her bite her lip again as he took a step towards her and breathed her in, loving the way she smelled. “It’s nice to see you again, Ms. Snow.” With that he walked from her yet again. This was killing him, but he knew it wasn’t time yet.

I MAY .......... not. im not sure. its been a rough year and im at the point where i have very very little free time so when i am drawing, its mostly for fun, and i cant rely on it as a source of income because a) i’m too unreliable b) i dont make enough money doing it sporadically to make it worth my while and c) i dont want to burn out my own inspiration and enjoyment of making art, which is what happens when i start thinking about it like a job or an obligation ON TOP OF my already stressful full-time occupation. it's very hard to transition into art as an actual profession and for the last few years i have really, really wanted to do just that but at this point i have a lot of issues, both financial and personal, that keep me from devoting as much of my time to it as i would like. right now its also the busiest time of the year for me at my Real Job so i honestly might not even have much time to do ANY art until next year at the very earliest
