Do they have an aftercare routine?

Not a ROUTINE but he does have different aftercare things to do depending on who he's with. He generally engages with it for a much Longer period of time in pale (obviously the act of taking care of one another etc etc. very pale coded). He'll lay with you and cuddle and tell you how good you did. He'll shower you with kisses and put on a movie to watch. Sometimes he'll give his partner a massage, other time's he'll carry his partner off and run a hot bath to share.

SHAY DOESN'T DO THREEWAYS. The prospect of it makes him deeply uncomfortable. it comes to no surprise that Xizaya struggles w/their anger issues still. even if he has come a long way, he still has hair trigger anger issues that he struggles to keep in check All The Time. It's stressful, he's still learning how to manage it in ways that don't involve Murder. It's hard. But he has a fantastic moirail that helps tons

Then I got Geniva, who (unbeknownst to many), is chalk full of rage. There's only so many times you can work your anger issues through extensive workout routines before snapping, and boy has he done that uh. Several times. His anger is just as explosive as our fiery anon, if not more dangerous than theirs. He's too good at keeping the cool and collected (or optimistic) facade up until it's too late and you're left staring down the mess he's made. He holds grudges. He holds onto the past. He can never forgive anyone and it just culminates in there. He doubles as the "comically optimistic" too.

It's taken a lot for her to treat herself more than a comic relief character, but she still falls into the habit of being just that. It's not like it'll hurt anyone, right?

"That would have to involve her brothers actually knowing I'm alive, and even if they did, they'd be up to their ass in punishments for not going to their Hideki about it first.

But yeah. You're right. Heidi has changed a lot in that time because I was actually fucking there to watch her grow, even if she didn't know it was me then. She could forgive a brother, but I doubt she'd let either one of them convince her to give me up to Them.

raizol are you only capable of making people afraid? are positive emotions not a thing? can you be precise or envoke a certain level of fear or is it kind of out of hand? also -- how do you use it? is it focus? what does it feel like to you to induce this fear?

"Ahaha yeah, afraid it's all fear and the emotions that normally accompany it, you know. I'm no full-on empath so I can't invoke anything positive. Imagine being plunged into your deepest darkest fears. The dread follows, doesn't it? Sometimes it's hopelessness for others, or anxiety.

I think I would hate what I'm capable of a little less if I could be precise with it. At least then I'd be affecting one person instead of a fucking crowd within a certain area.

For me it feels like.. guilt, or anger, I guess it depends what the context of me using them is. I haven't set them off in sweeps. If I'm not careful though, I can affect myself with them too. Now that fucking sucks."

"I have, yeah, but not in decades. Fears change over time and I doubt I would see the same thing I did the last time I did. I mean, it happened in the fleet. I ah, had to be sedated. At the time it was the only way they could to get it to stop, because I can't."

Fun facts abt Shay part 1/?

she can’t get drunk, her metabolism is just too high for that and it SUCKS! SO BAD! 

she’s never won a bet

she can be electrocuted but it doesn’t hurt so much as it makes her wired as hell and hits her like an adrenaline shot. the electricity is sapped into the battery that’s in the place of her heart

if shay hadn’t gone to the fleet, he would’ve stayed on-planet and his creations would still be used by fleet anyway. kinda sucks! 

his first job was a hair dresser

there’s a tattoo of crosshairs on his ass he didn’t know she even had until like a few sweeps ago

technically yes she can get a tattoo but his fear of needles is a little TOO string to go through with getting a cover up done for his old fleet insignia tatt on his chest
