Bour was just like casually bringing BATB into things as an Easter egg #since it was his first job in animation #and like don't get me wrong; I LOVE that he did this. I just don't know how he expected anyone (i.e. me) to be normal about it afterwards #once you've introduced BATB; it ceases to be a fun and casual reference and just makes the literature major girlies go feral #i thought this was gonna be a quick and easy little project but it wasn't #the parallels are all there but they're in slightly different order in EoA than the original and the pacing for each reference is differen #so i had to determine which ones I needed to skip frames for and which ones to use all the frames #and then try to figure out the speed from there #the coronation day scenes were very hard to color because the grey skies and muted filter kind of whitewash the characters #like you don't even understand i added so MUCH vibrance and saturation to the 4th and 5th gifs but elena's skin still is just gray #and the coloring is still just a very very mixed bag #also i've realized that while I don't think it was an intentional reference in the same way BATB was #anna's sacrifice and resurrection from frozen is perhaps just as --if not more-- a clear parallel to the coronation day scene than BATB #so maybe I will do that one someday too? #once i psych myself up again to try coloring coronation day again #which i imagine will be awhile #these do not look like the same scene and pretty much the same scene at all even if i tried to use the same psd when i could #and edit them to make the coloring as close as i could

Biggest folley of Motley and why it got so difficult for me to write was because I kept getting so caught up on trying to represent every aspect of their stories all at once anytime there were on screen, when really I need to remember that they are in fact Just Little Guys

#aaah. the difficulty of writing ocs youve had since middle school #to me they are at the end of their story. but to you ..... they are just random characters by a stranger on tha internet #i need to break them down to their core essentials again ..... work backwards #first few chapters are gonna get some minor edits to the art and dialogue #but i have a clearer view of what the next few chapters will be #glad i paused for a few weeks to work on far out (which is also looking super good. i love jane and galactica. theyre so funny) #its nice to make new characters fron scratch #the first few motley chapters are gonna get punched up and future ones will be overall funnier #kept trying to make it serious but it needs to be funny. otherwise this shit is gonna get depressing real quick lol

his head was pounding, his stomach gnawing at him in discomfort from being up during hours that he wasn’t used to. he really should go back to sleep, but it’s the start of your blossoming relationship and geto hasn’t figured out how to tell you that these morning activities you love so much just don’t work for him.

he sees you in his kitchen, slicing up fruit while nipping your bottom lip in concentration. he leans against the frame of the wall, and quirks his brow when he takes in the tee you were wearing. it occurs to him that this the first time he’s ever seen you in his clothes, and the black oversized fabric engulfs you, leaving only the stems of your legs and arms visible.

he’s already half hard, and when you turn over your shoulder to brightly smile in his direction it just makes it worse. you start chattering away while he approaches behind you, his arms wrapping around your waist and he rests his chin on your shoulder. you don’t catch his mood, and after letting you ramble for a few minutes longer he brushes his lips against your neck and whispers: “how about we just go back to sleep?” 

you pout with disappointment, before insisting that he just needs something delicious to eat to lift his spirits. he can only wonder how he wound with up with somebody who contrasted him in every single way and slumps his shoulders in defeat while the seconds tick away as he focuses on you slicing up the remaining strawberries. 

his hands begin to wander, slipping underneath the fabric of his tee as he molds his body against you. he kisses your shoulder as he kneads the flesh of your hips, pondering to himself if his little promise was worth keeping. he can tell you’re trying hard not to get distracted, but he wins the challenge when his hand makes it’s way underneath the waistband of your underwear to slowly rub your clit. 

it’s not long before you’re facing him, your back pressing up against the counter while his half lidded gaze focuses on the way his dick sinks in and out of your dripping cunt. your chirpy voice reduced to nothing but gentle pants, while your fists tightly grip onto his shoulders with every thrust he delivers. your thighs quiver when you orgasm, and you would have lost your balance if he wasn’t there holding you in place. with one last push he finally shakes, reaching his own climax and finding his release.

the whole diamond heist scene with the lasers in gl2 is genuinely the funniest thing i have ever seen in my entire life. vinny so reassuringly saying “throw me” and ranboo and sneeg not even arguing with him just flat out agreeing to lob him across the room. the different shots of them swinging him back and forth to get momentum. the fucking puppet flying through the air. sneeg and ranboo staring off into the distance to watch him soar, the instant cut to them holding each other screaming. vinny hitting the fucking roof???? the elation. the anvil falling sound effect. the looney tunes stare as it falls from the sky. vinny’s final words. the fucking anvil crushing his head in (and the shock that came watching it live and not being able to pause or rewind and see the cut). ranboo making the world’s worst pun. sneeg’s indignant “i’m not throwing you!’. everyone moving on as if it didn’t happen. truly the funniest scene in all written history. i will never recover.

#i think there’s an element to watching it live that really elevated the comedy and the shock #bc it was a complete tonal shift too like all of a sudden it goes from serious problem solving to flying puppets #this like borderline unreality which is so different from the last scene #makes the comedy and change in tone so unexpected and that much funnier #and having no idea an anvil was going to crush vinny and just having it come out of nowhere #and he DIES and the cut is so quick that i didn’t notice it live obviously and so the shock factor is definitely there #i thought we were getting midsommar 2.0 on the ranboolive channel #and then everyone just fucking moving on like it didn’t happen so you barely have time to recover #so much happened in the span of about one minute i had no idea how to react #by far the hardest i’ve laughed i think in all of gen loss so far #fucking genius brilliant fantastic comedy script writing editing production EVERYTHING MWAH #i love this silly little show so much #generation loss #genloss #generation loss spoilers #genloss spoilers #ranboo #tilda rambling

it isn’t that etoiles lost it’s abt HOW he lost, like they really could have just thrown code after code after him for two hours straight and used up all his gapples and potions and he STILL would have lost and it would have been more satisfying; it would have been a long, arduous and well-fought battle that etoiles would have adored every moment of despite the grim ending. but the way he lost was fighting a code whose health bar didn’t even move and who then proceeded to borderline metagame in order to win the fight quickly, taking away two of qetoiles most prized possessions resulting in a hollow victory. narratively i get etoiles needed to lose at some point but it should not have been like that

A TV head, with a body more like a ball jointed doll. The TV is the main focus, with lots of colors, expressions, and images so the clothing idea is kept simple, a 50's style collared shirt and high-waisted black slacks or skirt. Even though Caine can just snap his fingers and do seemingly anything, he makes it the errand runner for the circus to keep it stimulated. Does behind the stage work and very much does complain from time to time about the mentioned Caine busy work. Also enjoys baking! Even though no one *needs* to eat, once again, it's just something to do to stay busy.

Expressions range mostly on energy level or emotions so I'm having fun with a few :]
