39810 RABe 501 Giruno その1

SBBの最新の特急型車両がついにメルクリンから模型化されました。2022年新製品として発表されて以来、例の如く何度も遅延し、ドイツでは3月終わり頃から出回り始めたものです。日本には先日やっと入荷ということで、HRSでの検品を経て、我が家にもやってきました。

製品化発表後の2023年1月、現地で実車に乗る機会がありました。列車はミラノ行きのEC。乗車区間はBasel〜Luzernと短距離でしたが、最新らしく外装はピカピカ、内装もシンプルかつ清潔感があり、風光明媚な景色と相まって、ステキなひとときを堪能するとともに、メルクリンの製品が心底楽しみになりました。入手した今、喜びもひとしおです。

では、モデルを見ていくとします。

基本セット5輌(39810)と増結2輌セット×3(43461、43462、43463)で11輌フル編成になりますが、全長も2mオーバー。基本セットだけだと112cmと扱いやすい長さです。

基本セットは、中間車3輌が一体となっており解結不可。食堂車が動力車になっており、両端の連接台車の計4軸をカルダンシャフト経由で駆動しています。

32ファンクションフル割当です。使い切れない笑。パンタ昇降が4つもある…サウンドや照明も種類がたくさん。スイス尾灯はもちろんありますね。

連接台車とカプラー。導電カプラーはなんと12極。内訳不明ですが、ファンクションから推定するとおそらく下記。フルで使ってますね。幌カバーの内側の見えないところまで印刷が入っていたり、ケーブルがモールド再現されていたりと芸が細かいです。メスコネクタ側にはロック機構がついており、一度連結したら、解結するには同梱の専用治具が必要です。

SBBの紋章はちゃんとモールド再現

ウインドシールドの曇り止めエアー用ルーバー再現。意外に目立つ！

前照灯／尾灯のLED照明をクリアパーツのモールドで再現。つぶつぶ感がよく出てます。

運転台モニターはON／OFF 可能で、進行方向側が光る。各種機器類はそれらしくモールド再現

運転席ドアの手摺りが別パーツ再現

運転席照明は前後個別制御

運転席ドア横の突起(後方カメラ？)は、発売前のイメージ図ではオミットされていたが、製品版では再現！

続きです。

このモデルのウリの一つが、点灯する行き先表示器です。ただ点灯するだけでなく、走り始めると自動で消え、停止すると自動で点きます。いちいちファンクション制御しなくても良いのが嬉しい。エクステリアに目を移すと、まず、白の塗装が滑らかでヨシ！最近はプリンタでざらついたのが多いのですが、やはりこちらの方が好みです。床下ハッチのラッチハンドル部のが白で塗り分けされていたり、ドア周りのスイッチ類がモールドだけでなく色が入っているなど、随所に「モールド+塗り分け」がなされており、精密感を高めます。近くで見るとオーバースケールかもですが、遠くから見ていると却って精密に感じるので、不思議です。

インテリアはいつものあっさりですが、シートカラーが実車とあっており、雰囲気は出てます。ヘッドレストカバーをつけてやると映えそう

パンタはファンクションで昇降します。メルクリンでは、もはや珍しくはなくなりましたね。基部に黄色い塗り分けあり。細かいなぁ…

連接台車は、ヨーダンパ周りの作りをよく再現していて、走りに影響を出さずにいい雰囲気に仕上げてます。よく見たらケーブルのモールド抜けてる…←メルクリン　実車→

運転席横の紋章。San Gottardo(聖ゴッタルド？)の紋章がはいってます。製造メーカーであるStadlerのロゴも含めてキレイに印刷されてます。

普通に走らせても連接台車でヌルヌル走るし、止まっているときは、点灯する行先表示器が良いアクセントになります。小さなレイアウトでも編成モノを走らせたい！という人にはもってこいなモデルだとおもいます。

おまけ:

箱は厚みがだいぶ増した代わりに、縦横はちょっと小さくなったようです。

解結用の治具。連接台車のロック機構を外す使います。普通にはちょっとやそっとでは外れない機構なので、赤い紙で注意書きが入ってますが、なんせ読みにくい…
