About the archive - The files here were previously scattered across multiple websites and cloud storage services, making them difficult to acquire to those outside the small Guilty Gear archival group. I did my best to gather them all in one place. Please contact me if more files are discovered and I will add them to the archive upload on Archive.org.

The ripped mobile port files - The mobile version of Vastedge XT was only online and available to even download for around a year before the servers shut down. The two .OBB and one .APK file were ripped from the Android port of the game and are what Tillman ripped the animated assets, meshes, sounds, and textures from. A lot could not be ripped because it was stored on the game's servers. The encryption also makes ripping files from these difficult. It's possible there's more on them that was not able to be ripped.

Japanese file names - The original name of the .APK was ﾊﾟﾁｽﾛ GG_com.dtechno.slotguilty.apk and had to be renamed to be compressed into a .ZIP folder. If the file runs into errors during launch/cracking attempts, try reverting the name. Likewise, the Japanese names of the videos could not be compressed and were also translated. There is a separate .TXT file within VXT VIDEOS that includes their original Japanese file names.

Duplicate concept art images - There were two archives of the concept art. One was hosted on e-hentai by Mister Guest and contained the full, uncropped, images. The second was from a folder that Volcanic had compiled. Volcanic's files were a higher resolution, but were cropped and missing some information Mister Guest's files had. I've included them both here as well as the files from a third archive where an anonymous user on Imgur had restored the colors on the character models to match how they look in the game itself.

Neon colors on the concept art - The neon sections on these character model sheets are temporary/placeholder colors and not how they appeared within the Vastedge XT game. Their true colors can be seen in the videos within the VXT VIDEOS folder or in the FIXED COLORS folder within VXT CONCEPT ART.

Dialog transcripts - What we know of Vastedge's story came from official story summaries posted by Arc System Works on the Guilty Gear websites. The dialog is exactly that: character dialog. There may be lines missing, that are inaccurate (due to typos), or other written/spoken parts of VXT not included. It may be possible to get this missing information from the videos in VXT VIDEOS or from other VXT video sources online.

Hell, I wanted to ask. Dizzy is free of her seal in vasyedge right? I was curious if you know of any picture or videos showing that.

I understand vastedge info is already very rare. But I was wondering where it was found?

I'm aware that user Sol Radguy keeps an archive of sorts of the rips, but I'm not 100% sure if there was an actual clip of Dizzy in the animated ending the game provides.

From what I remember, Dizzy does make a brief appearance appearing outside her Seal in the GG2 Outfit she had (modified slightly for VastEdge concept art)... but not once does it mention Dr. Paradigm's involvement in breaking her Time Seal which was formed by the Thundersealed Sword (Ky's OutRage Jinki).

VastEdge just "hurriedly" assumes that Dizzy just pops out of the seal with her own powers and doesn't really explain much other than that.

Obviously, Dizzy's appearance in VastEdge is different from when she publicly re-appeared in Xrd Sign in front of Sin, but it is still based on her "Maiden of the Grove" appearance when she was frozen in the time seal.

Ok, here it officially is in all its 2013 mobile port glory, Guilty Gear Vastedge XT’s cutscenes are all in this folder.

Heres my preface, they are all silent, oddly, the sound wasnt stored in the files themselves (or if they were, the rippers i found online couldnt access it for whatever reason?). They are VERY low resolution as well, this is a mobile port of a pachislot game, even using the recommended methods to get the best quality from the file type, they turned out so tiny, sorry about that. They also, are a certified mess. Its 4039 videos, all with the most esoteric names, all about a few seconds long, and all with multiple variations each. I’m sorry about this, I can probably make a cleaned up folder one of these days but I really wanna just get this out for everyone to poke at LOL

Im baffled we could even get this much out of the apk... I truly thought this would be lost until arcsys themselves stepped in or someone spent the 200+ bucks on a pachislot machine... i hope at least one other person in the world finds this entertaining or interesting in some way :-)

Guilty Gear Vast Edge XT:

I won’t deny that while it still baffles me why such a relevant chapter of GG was put into a pachinko game of all things (and later turned into a mobile game),  I love the animation of the cutscenes, character designs and the gameplay has a certain charm to it.  I kinda hope that ArcSys includes it as a side mini-game for the console games.

Also, Sol’s Dragon Install design in this game is among my favorites.

Lunar Guilty Silver Gear!

I was thinking about Guilty Gear Vastedge XT, an pachislot exclusive “game”(it’s a Japanese machine) and although it’s only somewhat canon(due to Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN), I thought this scene below is interesting.

I wonder if I’m the only one who thought of this(see below) when looking at this picture?XD

Daisuke has secretly played Lunar: SIlver Star Story! XD Just kidding, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. Even though the circumstances are slightly different(Alex goes to save Luna to set her free from the seal while Ky put Dizzy in the seal so she wouldn’t disappear), the general concept is similar. The only thing is romance in the Lunar series has real development and chemistry instead of forced, XD.

I've been trying to find a source of the mooks for Guilty Gear X, XX, and XX Slash. While you can find them on Ebay, it's really expensive especially with international shipping costs. I was wondering if you would happen to have any scans of them, or at least know of a source that isn't gonna cut into my budget.

Archive.org is a good reliable source at the moment, so I would suggest collecting some PDFs from that site (ironically, so is e-hentai.org).
