I go back in forth on ian and mickey having kids. They’d be great at it but they definitely be content being amazing uncles too. What I do love is now Ians never expressed his want for kids to anyone but Mickey. He dreamed of a family with Mickey, he wants a baby Milkovich. It’s something we would deem as “obviously that’s his husband” but it’s like he only envisioned a lot of his dreams with Mickey by his side🥹

i am the same! they will be so happy no matter what 🥰 and yes, totally agree. i think ian was searching to get some pretty specific needs met with his post-mickey boyfriends, and he had some good times, but he was never seeing a solid future or family with them. even with caleb, he said "i'm enjoying it while it lasts," like he knew it wasn't forever.

for a long time after s5, ian had a hard time imagining what his future would look like - and i think it got infinitely harder after his arrest. i just. AGHHH. i feel like he saw his whole future open up again after he turned to see mickey standing there 😭 the rest of his life 😭 help me 😭 it doesn't make me totally bonkers AT ALL?
