"The Journey of the Magi," watercolor by Heinrich Lefler (1863-1919). For Catholics January 6th marks the Feast of the Three Kings, the official end of the 12 days of Christmas. Also called "Epiphany." Our Orthodox brethren have their Christmas celebration on this day. A fitting end to one journey, and star-led beginning of the next.
