-Little Peeta Headcanons-

did anyone ask for this? No. No they did not. But I must get this out of my system sooo. Shout out to @cgetbrmj as always for providing me with some of these headcanons y’all were starving out here. I have turned to shitty wattpad fics help us all

-Peeta, before the hijacking, regressed to like 5-6 ish? He was pretty playful, and he loved people. Post hijacking’s a different story, bc he now regresses around 1-3? 3 being the very oldest. He does not like people whatsoever, and will not talk to anyone he doesn’t trust.

-the kind of activities he likes to do are like sit on a caregivers lap and do a puzzle or draw. Sometimes if he’s on the older side he likes to play kitchen with Katniss.

-SUCH a cuddle bug omg. He’d be so shy about it too, but just constantly wanting to be in contact with like one person, preferably two.

-Adding onto that, he’s such a crybaby as well. Probably just bc he’s so little, but he’s constantly whimpering and crying

-the other Littles get kinda annoyed with him sometimes, because he wants to play but they can’t really play the same games they do with Peeta, usually. Just because they’re constantly being reminded, “Now, Peeta is a lot littler then you guys, so you have to be gentle, okay?”

-Peeta having nightmares and waking up small and panicked, (it has become a thing where when he goes to bed little, he sleeps in the same bed as his caregivers, I’ll go into his caregivers more in a sec)

-after he has an episode, his caregivers always asking him if he wants to drop down, it’s really a mixed bag how he responds to this, sometimes he says no and drops down into babyspace anyway.

-ANYWAY his caregivers. Annie and Finnick. They were kind of just babysitters before, and slowly started to realize that they were more then just babysitters, and trying to talk about that with Peeta was a bit of a nightmare lmao

-Peeta Will do literally anything Katniss asks him to. She is like his big sister, very influential, and in more then one case it’s got them in not so great situations.

-(one time Katniss convinced Peeta to climb a tree and he couldn’t get back down. They had to call Finnick, she got in a ton of trouble for that)

-Peeta literally hates conflict and anyone getting even remotely irritated or annoyed at him. One time Haymitch was annoyed at Katniss, accidentally raised his voice at Peeta for putting his hand in his mouth. He started crying almost immediately

-almost everyone has different nicknames for the baby. I could go into heavy detail.

Little!Peeta Mellark HCs!!

I’m genuinely going insane and need to get my thoughts out, so enjoy my rambling‼️ :3

I apologize for how long this is and the amount of times I say ‘like’🙁

Regresses to around 0-7 but usually in the toddler range of like 2-4.

He’s SUCH a sweet boy, like he’s constantly worried about everyone else even when he’s supposed to be the one getting taken care of ☹️

Needs 24/7 attention/care but tries to be independent and fails miserably. Like he’s nervous to ask for help bc he feels like he doesn’t deserve it

Semi-verbal, but major babbler, like he’s just constantly making noises and giggling

If he has an episode when little it’s definitely more of a sad/emotional or fear based outburst rather than angry/aggressive one. (I hope that makes sense lol)

Chronic thumb-sucker, like no matter how hard his cg tries or offers alternatives hes constantly sucking/chewing on his thumb and hands in general

The kitchen is destroyed at least once a week bc he tries to bake on his own

Contact is a NEEDD for him, like if you’re not at least holding his hand at all hours he will be extremely offended (pout for 5 minutes).

Very wobbly/clumsy no matter how old he’s feeling, he’s constantly just toppling over

Half of his cgs day is saying stuff like “Uh oh! Are you okay?” And he always has at least 2 bandaids

LOVES having his hair played with, if you do he’ll be asleep in literal seconds

Prefers to call his cg more parental names if they’re okay w it (ex: mama/dada)

Pretty calm regressor, like he prefers quieter activities like drawing or simple puzzles and pretend play :3

Little!Lucy Gray Baird Would…

🎼Regresses voluntarily, for the most part. But there are times where she doesn’t want to and that doesn’t end up happening. Trauma response regressing is also a very real thing for her

🎼She’s a total sweetheart! She loves people, so babysitters (mainly the Covey) and other littles aren’t normally a problem. However, there are times where she just needs to be alone or just with her caregiver.

🎼She’s a baby and proud of it. She normally regresses to about 1-3. Maybe a little younger if it’s a not so good day

🎼Lucy Gray loves to color, but she doesn’t really like it when it’s a mash of colors. She prefers them all to be in their lines, as then she can see them all and not just one bland color coming from the mix. She may throw a small fit of someone else messes it up.

🎼Okay so. Coryo DID care for her, until the whole gun incident. However, doesn’t mean we can’t dream and pretend this is a perfect world where they got their happy ending.

🎼She loves to crochet, so she made herself a little pastel rainbow snake! She named it Janey, in honor of Sejanus and Janey goes everywhere with her.

🎼She loves nature! All the animals, the woods, the plants, everything! She loves to make friends with the animals most of all.

🎼Lucy Gray gets very whiny when tired. Not bratty, just whiny. She also gets a teeny tiny bit cranky, but the second she’s in a bed, she’ll be out cold.

🎼She still likes to sing when little. It’s mostly just humming, as she can’t talk very well when she’s in her younger age range, but it’s still beautiful.

🎼She’s very playful when little. She’ll tease a little, maybe swipe something of Coryo’s she know he won’t get upset with her over. And then when he catches her, she just giggles herself silly.

🎼She gets a lot of nightmares from the arena, which isn’t very fun at all. She normally wakes up regressed after, and needs a lot of cuddles and reassurance that she’s safe and won’t ever have to do that again.

🎼She loves it when Coryo lifts her up and throws her in the air. It gives him a heart attack and he’s very, very gentle, but she loves it regardless.

🎼She plays the why game a lot when she doesn’t want to do something. For instance, it’s bedtime. Why do we need to sleep? Why do we need energy? Why do we need to live? It goes on forever.

🎼When she goes on natures walks, she loves to collect things! Maybe it’s feathers, a pretty rock, or flowers, anything! She even has a little bag containing all her little treasures!

Lucy Gray deserved so much better, and I honestly love her character!

OMGGGG YESSS MY TIME HAS COME 🙏

I can definitely see Peeta as a flip, his cg side would lean towards being more of an older brother figure, he would be very goofy and silly with you, calling you his "Silly little kiddo"

Definitely Haymitch as well, he would love being called 'Papa', and he's very overprotective (but would never admit it) he always wants you to hold his hand, and he likes to have you sit in his lap !

Sejanus would be a flip as well, and a very soft cg. He like's being called 'Bubba' and 'Dada', and would do anything to see his baby giggle and smile.

Lucy Gray would also be a soft cg, but would give you soft reminders to drink water and eat. She would love to take you on walks, and she makes you flower crowns and sings you lullabies !!!

The Hunger Games Agere Headcanons Part II

Characters: Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, and Finnick Odair!

A/N: I’m still trying to get better at writing so I hope you guys like these!

Katniss Everdeen

A little, but a big kid regressor, I think! Like 7 or 8! She needs to be taken care of but also can help take care of other littles a little bit. Really good at entertaining and keeping other littles preoccupied, surprisingly.

She gets a lot less shy when she’s regressed, so she sings more. Mainly just humming, though. But it’s still something!

She loves walks through nature, especially the meadow. She’ll point to a bunch of different plants and tell you all about them while you hold her hand and walk with her.

She has a small, fake bow and arrow that she uses whenever she’s little. Just to play with and keep herself preoccupied. She got sad when you told her she can’t shoot while she’s little, so you had to make her a toy version.

She likes nicknames a lot, but she acts like she doesn’t. Please call her “Kat” or “Kitty”. She’ll act like she hates it but she likes it, it makes her feel smaller.

She’s normally very adverse to physical touch and affection, but when she’s little she needs it, especially because she mainly regresses due to trauma. After she wakes up from haunting nightmares about the games, she desperately needs you to hold her.

Will call you whatever you like, but more parental terms like “Mama” or “Dada” tend to slip out because her mom was very emotionally absent and her dad passed at a young age.

If you aren’t around or you’re busy, Haymitch babysits. He acts grouchy about it, but he’s actually quite pleased to. He won’t tell you that, though. Not in a million years.

Peeta Mellark

Flip, huge little lean. Like he’ll take care of another little if he needs to or if they want him too, and he loves it. But he regresses a lot.

He’s a very young regressor, too. Like I’m talking around 2-3 years old. He is a TODDLER. He waddles and babbles and stuff too and it’s so cute. 🙁🙁🙁

Very sensitive and emotional. Easily triggered, especially after the hijacking. He needs constant 24/7 care and comfort.

He loves coloring!! He’ll color you soooo many pictures and show them off to you!! He’s so proud even if it’s messy and he colored outside the lines. And you better be nice to him and tell him he did an amazing job. Or else. >:(

Him and Katniss are playmates!! Although Katniss plays too rough sometimes and makes him cry. She immediately feels bad, though, and tries to comfort him.

Like she accidentally shot him in the face with her fake bow and arrow once and they both ended up crying. 😭

He likes helping you bake whenever he’s little!! He usually does the baking all by himself but he can’t when he’s little so he asks if you can make cookies or something simple and if he can help. Or, if you’re better at baking and like doing it regularly like him, he’ll ask to help you paint decorations on cakes or whatever you’re making. :)

He loves nicknames so much. Whatever you choose to call him will make him giggle and smile no matter what it is.

He also likes calling you more parental names but whatever works best for you will work for him! He doesn’t mind!

On the very rare occasion he is taking care of somebody else, though, he’s very soft and gentle. He mainly takes you outside to play and does fun activities like finger painting and coloring with you. He’ll make sure you’re well fed and well rested but he doesn’t really have any rules or anything like that. He’s not really someone that’s a permanent caregiver, more like a babysitter!

Loves physical touch. Will cling to you and his friends. Mainly you, though, since you’re his caregiver. He’ll always be at least holding your hand.

His regression is also mostly involuntary. The hijacking made it worse too. He regresses almost every other day now and needs constant assistance. You have to reassure him a lot that he isn’t bothering or inconveniencing you, though. He gets so insecure about it and he feels so bad. 🙁

If you aren’t around or if you’re busy, he goes to Finnick. Finnick is Annie’s caregiver, so he knows how to treat littles of his age. And he’s incredibly patient as well, so you always feel comfortable leaving Peeta in Finnick’s care for a bit.

Finnick Odair

Caregiver. Does well with littles of all ages, but baby/toddler regressors tend to gravitate towards him for some reason. He doesn’t know why and he’s a little confused!

He’s a very fun loving caregiver but he’s also very strict. That man has been through way too much and is incredibly protective over you. He’s so carefree and fun loving but he knows how to talk to you sternly so you know he’s serious.

Sometimes when he gets all stern and serious like that, you’ll make fun of him by coping his facial expressions.

Like he’ll be like

“Y/N, listen to me. You need to hold my hand while we’re out here, okay? I don’t need you wandering off and getting lost. Do not let go of my hand again, understand?” with a super serious face

And you’ll just be like “yes, sir, I understand, >:(“ in a mocking stern voice with a mocking stern face.

And he’ll just sigh and be like “I’m serious!” and you’ll be like “I’m serious too!! >>:((((“ and it’s really funny to everybody except him 😭

Takes you out swimming. A lot. Loves the beach. He’ll set up a little date where you two can eat lunch and then go swimming all day. You have to stay right by him, though, especially in the water. The waves can be dangerous!

Will call you ocean related nicknames as well as normal pet names. Like “Seashell”, “Darling”, “Fishy”, “Sweetheart”, etc.

Likes being called “Dada”, “Daddy”, and “Finny”. He thinks those are all so, so cute coming from you. He loves those names so much. 😭😭😭

Is a very clingy caregiver. He has to hold your hand at all times and likes to put you in his lap. He’s just so protective. He needs to know you’re okay at all times or else he gets scared and anxious. He just loves you so much.

He gives you little pacifier kisses if you use pacis. Like he just kisses the front of your pacifier before kissing all over your little face. 🙁🙁🙁

He takes care of Annie and Peeta as well, both of which are baby/toddler regressors.

He’s strict, like I said. Sets bedtimes, mealtimes, you have to hold his hand whenever you’re in public or outside, you aren’t allowed to go into the ocean without him right there beside you, only a set amount of people are allowed to be around you alone while you’re regressed because he’s concerned for your safety.

Overall, he’s literally just a dad. Like this man would be not only a perfect caregiver but also a great father. I love him so much. 🙁🙁🙁

❄️Snow is most definitely insane, but he when it comes to his little, he’s able to forget about that for a while.

❄️He’s a very protective caregiver. With Lucy Gray being more on the curious side, he’s got to be. So that means he’s holding her hand at all times, no going off where he can’t see her, and approved babysitters.

❄️Snow lets her fiddle with his dog tag, as long as she doesn’t put it in her mouth and even then he’s watching her to be safe.

❄️He learned how to braid hair for her! Lucy Gray loves to play, so she needs her hair out of her face. Luckily, Snow learned pretty quick on how to do that.

❄️He will deny it until the day he dies, but he is a total cuddler. He loves having Lucy Gray in his arms, safe. Especially after she has a nightmare from the arena, as he’s kind of the only one who can help with those.

❄️He loves Lucy Gray, but he’s a little strict on not tolerating tantrums. However, if he was a little harsh while putting her in timeout, he’ll apologize through cuddles and playing whatever game she wants.

❄️Some may argue, but he gives pacifier kisses. Just the front of it, then her nose, then her forehead.

❄️If we’re thinking of a perfect world, then when he’s president and in the Capitol, he normally sets down a soft blanket in his office with a few toys so he can work and watch Lucy Gray.

❄️He’s not a nature guy at all, but he’ll trudge through the woods with his girl, just to see her smile. However, washing our hands from whatever we picked up is a must. Picking up plants is a no though, as he isn’t letting her get poison ivy today.

❄️They have a little garden where he lets her plant whatever flowers she wants. It’s mostly brightly colored ones, but they have a few roses in there too.

❄️Lucy Gray is a skinny girl, and living in District 12 left her rather emaciated. So, Snow makes sure she eats as much as she needs too and then maybe one extra bottle, just to be safe.

❄️While he’s not the best at tantrums, he secretly loves it when she gets tired. She gets very pouty and it is the cutest thing to him.

❄️He’s a bit of a helicopter parent, especially when he’s away from her. All he can think about is if she’s okay, if she’s hungry or tired, or if she needs him?

❄️Snow keeps anything and everything Lucy Gray gives him in a special drawer. Let it be a flower, drawings, anything and everything. Anything his baby gives him is to be cherished.

❄️He carries her everywhere. Around the house, outside sometimes, anywhere. Peacekeeper training left him pretty strong, so he never gets tired of it. Plus it’s nice to know she needs him.
