Oh my god that's so funny.

She's not, but I can tell you exactly why she looks that way. The sunglasses she wears were added to her design by a friend of mine in Australia! They designed Cass an outfit for when she was visiting their spidersona in their spiderverse setting, which just so happens to also be Australia haha. Here's that -

Their name is RayRayMonster on Twitter, and their spidersona's name is Rayne. They've done some of my favorite art of Cass, including this one of Rayne, Cass and our friend @artofdel's spidersona Di at the beach!

Anyways the short answer is Cass isn't Australian but one of her bffs in Spider Society is, and the sunglasses have become part of her regular design as a result 🥰
