Rio: I still can’t believe all that mess just happened

Rio: I swear to God my friends aren’t usually that trash like… what the fuck

Liam: it was unbelievable, are you ok

Rio: Like not at all but there’s nothing you can do

Rio: and you’ve already done loads more than I could ask, so don’t worry

Rio: This has really blindsided me, I’d never have expected this from her

Liam: sometimes you don’t know people how you think you do, or you did but they change on you into somebody else

Rio: and she didn’t know me if she thought I was ever going to take her side over my family, was that the plan?

Rio: I genuinely do not get why she did this, tbh

Liam: she probably wasn’t planning further ahead than getting your other mate to take her side, she did things without thinking when I knew her

Rio: Who in their right mind would take her side

Rio: even without the full story

Liam: I dunno, I could be looking at it wrong and what she wanted was for all this to come out

Rio: Now I’m just worried there’s something seriously wrong with her

Rio: it’s not normal, no shit but

Rio: there has to be something going on to drive her to this, right?

Liam: if it’s a cry for help, getting this many other people involved and doing it tonight is a weird twist

Rio: It’s fucked, on so many levels I can’t even get into

Liam: you don’t have to worry about Edie, she saw what Lex was like before this, she’s a good judge of who people are underneath whatever they put across

Rio: I just don’t want her thinking I was out to ruin her night or make it about me and my friends’ bullshit

Liam: she understands where you were coming from, and it’s like you said, the two of us are in a bubble, I’m not gonna let anything ruin her night or switch up what it’s about

Rio: I’m really glad

Rio: At least that good still came from tonight

Rio: she doesn’t need to feel involved with all this Lexie business, it’s definitely about me, not Edie and you, I can see that now

Liam: I’d be a dick when you’re still going through it if I said I was buzzing we’re both out of it but I was questioning when it started if it was a bit about me, and her, I dunno what I could or would do if Lexie was, like, in love with me or something

Rio: But perfectly valid, this is a shit show

Rio: You don’t need to worry about her, she’s not going to come anywhere near me or mine ever again

Rio: it’s a betrayal beyond what she said in the text, and she knows that

Liam: she don’t worry me, and you don’t have to worry about anything but what she’s trying to involve you in

Rio: even if she thought she was doing a nice thing, she clearly wasn’t mature enough to even attempt to go about it in a good way

Liam: I shouldn’t have agreed to it, she wasn’t forcing that bit, it was on me

Rio: You were grieving, bad decisions are expected

Liam: nobody was mature enough back then, it was ages ago

Hey, I'm doing good too. Just normal amounts of stressful stuff right now. Just moved to a country I've never been to before but can't complain, things are not as hard as the last time I did this so. Thanks for asking! Yeah, I saw you posting about some pretty scary health issues before, I'm glad you came out of that alive and hope you're healthier now!

The nerve some people have! Haha I know I would be pissed if people were questioning my intelligence like that especially after a couple of drinks in haha. Though I do like taunting people when I play group games, I'll be like "don't need to try that hard guys, you're gonna lose anyway" just to mess with them or just call people sore losers if they accuse me of cheating haha (they're probably right on the accusations tho). People get real mad sometimes it's kinda funny. 😂

Omg literally laughed out loud reading this! Hahaha, how did you manage to fall over a road sign then end up in a ditch? lol omg hope you didn't get hurt too bad 😂 I was trying to downplay my drunken escapades but since you shared yours I should tell you my worst one:

I was at this summer street party at night and got drunk on something made out of tropical herbs and cachaça (which is about 48% alcohol), drank 3 and a half bottles of that like it was apple juice, made friends with a bunch of strangers in a bathroom queue (who tried to talk to me weeks later but I had no idea who they were), had to be held by my best friend while I peed (mostly missing the toilet), fell in the middle of the street and scraped my knee, threatened this boy who was helping me walk and told him not to try anything funny or I would beat him up, then dragged my friends to the beach and left them shortly after to go make out with my ex, came back with lipstick all over my mouth and chin and when my friends asked what I was doing I said I was just talking to my ex and they were like NO YOU WERE NOT, hahaha then I kissed all my girl friends on a dare and we danced under the full moon, then I told my best friend I had to puke so she took me to the ocean but I changed my mind and happened to step on a dead turtle on the way back and started crying bc of it, but last month my best friend told me it was a rock I had stepped on (I believed it was a dead turtle for 7 years!). Had the worst hangover of my life the next day. ✌️✨

Oh I could talk about Dani and Jamie forever I think. I love the beast in the jungle speech too and it's so painful to watch, VP delivered that beautifully, but I have to admit I'm always a crying mess from episode 1 when older Jamie starts reciting that song about being sad while waiting for her lover to return, this show is fucking cruel I hate it and love it at the same time hahaha. Omg your mom 😂 but I mean it's truly an honor to be compared to someone like Dani, no? She's really great even if she needs a little help haha (don't we all).

I used to draw a lot, really loved doing it when I was a kid as I said before, and all throughout adulthood too but I haven't done that in almost a year now bc I've got a bit of a case of burnout I guess, it just takes a lot of effort to do it when it shouldn't be like that at all. I used to do fanart too, for other fandoms. Even made one for Dani x Jamie but ended up not liking how it turned out haha. I've got a lot of respect for writers and fanfic writers also! Yall can make words make sense in really interesting and beautiful ways, build worlds so enthralling I can see them vividly in my head. Writing is such an incredibly fascinating skill to have! And I guess the most important thing is that we enjoy doing these things right? Even if we think we're not particularly good at it.

Awwh thank you so much I definitely came out of it alive and am feeling so much better now thank you I mean I do some pretty ditzy things so when people say it to me it's pretty deserved sometimes, I'm secretly smart and people just don't expect it so I never mind too much haha I might have to start saying the things that you do and just taunting them over it I mean, I usually do win even when they make me answer different questions so I will definitely have to start saying things like that to them Haha I love that you're just like "yeah they're probably right in their accusations" I agree seeing how mad some people get over games and stuff is funny (it's me I'm people I hate loosing games depending on what it is and I am very competitive) So it was very dark and all we had for light was my roommates flashlight on her phone but while we were walking home a friend of ours that lived else where kept texting her to make sure we were still safe (my phone as dead at this point) so while she was texting him her flashlight was facing down and someone had moved this road sign to the footpath and it was on that sits on the floor so while I couldn't see it I walked into it and fell over it but while I feel I grabbed hold of it and flipped with it and fell in a ditch with it on top of me... I was fine and was just laid laughing while my friend looked down at me and in the most northern accent ever just said "get up you dickhead." and helped me off of the floor and then asked if I was okay... and I was so it was all good!! Haha 😂 I love this drunken story that sounds like one hell of a night and is a roller coaster from start to finish!! I'm sorry you thought you had stood on a dead turtle for 7 years though, someone really should've told you that it was just a rock!! But that sounds like my kind of night!! I love nights like that... stories that will last a life time... the only down side is the hangover... luckily I have only ever had one hang over in my life and it wasn't the morning after the road sign fiasco... I felt surprisingly good the morning after that haha 😂 It's such a good musical it's about Henry VIII wives and I just love everything to do with his wives and that musical is so much fun and actually gives a little insight to the lives the six Tudor queens had away from Henry and with him because at school we're mainly just taught about him which sucks!! I loved the Hozier song and am definitely gonna have to listen to more of his stuff!! I love musicals so much I mainly listen to musical soundtracks at the minute- usually, Legally Blonde and Six on repeat haha 😂 Ooo thank you I will definitely check out this Pinterest board thanks for sending it to me!! I could talk about them forever too... since watching Bly Manor my niece has been asking me so many questions about it and I am more than happy to talk to her about it haha!! I think fan art is great and I really would love to be able to do it myself but I just don't have the skill it takes!! Honestly there are so many talented writers out there and when I read their fics I am just in awe of the worlds they have built and the stories they have created we are so blessed in this fandom to have so many amazing writers and so many amazing fics out there Oh yeah definitely its important to enjoy what you do!! Yes and no, depending on at which point in their respective story we’re talking about haha Josh and Chris are in love with each other, and so are Max and Leo (well, their situation is a bit… uncommon, but if I were ever to write their story they’d be together in the end) - I once posted about Gabe and Hector, and by the end of their story they’re in a poly relationship with a girl named Erica I’ve never posted about. Luca has a love (?) interest of sort but he’s not been posted about yet hohoho maybe sometime in the near future. Still deciding about Isa and Ana’s relationship, but maybe. Who knows? That’s about it as far as the ones I’ve posted about go :D

She is!! She’s sort of a jock, a bit of a dummy and really loud, she’s easy to make laugh and got the type of laughter that makes you wanna laugh with her so when she’s around the mood is always a good one! She’s not exactly a social butterfly, but she’s got no problems with socializing, knows by instinct how to bend her behaviour to fit with all types of people and has the incredible ability to have every and all awkward situations fly right over her head, she just doesn’t notice them, and that makes it hard to be anything but relaxed when she’s around. She’s actually how she and Ana got in the group, since she’s gym buddies with Leo! She also really really likes ball sports :D

Ana’s an introvert all the way through, on the other hand - she’s really witty and sassy when she feels comfortable enough, and sarcasm is her preferred way of communicating, but if she doesn’t know you/ too many people she isn’t 100% comfortable with are around she comes off as timid and closed off, smiles politely and barely utters a word - people assume she’s the subdued and shy type at first so once she starts opening up it’s always sort of a shock haha she’s got a scientific mind and while she isn’t a “gifted kid” like Chris she likes to learn and study a lot, which is why she ended up having a real great relationship with Chris specifically out of everyone in the group (they like to nerd out together) (Josh isn’t particularly happy about it, the jelly idiot)

Aside from how much fun he is to draw (and color! he’s a green haired boy and that matters lots to me haha) he’s got so much personality and he’s such an interesting character! Comet is the only thing I care about if it doesn't win I'm gonna cry

Like. I can't even explain it I'm too invested in this show. I'm going to infodump about it because I'm so sad that DEH might beat it out for the tony and it doesn't even deserve to. -While you are walking in it gives you a Cold War / modern Russia vibe. The walls of the imperial are covered in posters and I remember reading the word pussy a lot which made me happy. - The guy at the merch stand was so sweet! No one else was there yet so I just was like " are you open?" And he helped me pick a shirt ( the red shirt with the family tree/ prologue lyrics was his favorite and I bought it bc I love it too.) - All the ushers were so nice! I was wearing a shirt that said " so broke can't pay attention" and a lot of them read it and told me it was funny. - the usher for my actual seat talked to me about DEH and I told her I loved it but it annoyed me when everyone kept saying ' oh yeah it has 9 tony noms' and I was like " well... comet has 12!" And she laughed and we Bonded™ - did I mention I was alone for like the first hour I was in the theatre because I ran in at 7 without my mom and sister. They wanted to eat their food and I was like "NO COMET" - I was hungry because I'd skipped dinner?? The comet gods threw food at me. - The girl who talked to our section was the best. Also I was the only person who read war and peace in my section which made me feel Important™ - Natasha's "NO!" When Andrey tells her he's going off to war and prologue starts - the door!!! - o Sonya - private and intimate life gave me chills. Gelsey Bell gives me chills. She was so genuinely scared and I just wanted to run down there and hug her and tell her it would all be okay. - an old woman was chose for bolkonsky's lover and she was so happy it was so sweet - "I KNOW THEYLL LIKE ME!" *pause* "EVERYONE HAS ALWAYS LIKED ME!" - getting stools into those tables took a little while but it was the best thing I ever saw. - no one else was so powerful. It's one of my favorite songs that I've like, ever heard, and Denee rocked it. Honestly the little things I noticed from her I applied to my singing it ( it's a song I'm working on in vocal) and it helped so much. God bless Denee Benton. - The opera was AWESOME. Gelsey again as opera singer made me die. Her voice is so strong and good and perfect. - stop touching dolokhov stop touching dolokhob Helene stop stop stop - the whole " where is dear Pierre" thing with Marya gently reminding Helene that she IS married to Pierre made me smile - WHEN THE RIP TBE BLOOD OFF ANDREY I CRY - Anatole get back behind that door you little shit - you are not allowed to walk down stairs like that Anatole stop -Helene please stop looking at your brother like that he's your brother stop - Natasha stop looking at him - Anatole stop looking at her - stop whispering in french Anatole you smooth fuck - GIVE HER HER FLOWER BACK ANATOLE PUT IT BACK PUT IT BACK PUT IT BAAAAAAAAACK. - you will NOT go to that ball Natasha u sit down and pick up a coloring book or something you literal child -when Pierre says " oh dear Andrey's betrothed." Anatole shakes his hand and goes " ehhh " like he's saying not for long - the entire scene before the duel hurts so much Pierre doesn't understand except he does - *shot comes from Fedyas gun* Pierre, with his arms out ready to die stays still for a few beats before doubling checking to make sure that he has indeed survived - HELENE LOOKS SO PISSED AT HIM. - dust and ashes is my anthem I have never related to anything so hard. Protect Pierre. Get him medical help. I want to see him loved. -DENEE BENTON STRIPPING-ISH ON STAGE TO JUST A CORSET AND UNDERWEAR ( I'm sure she has a Leo under it)?? MY GAY LITTLE HEART DID NOT SURVIVE. - Helene takes the necklace Andrey put around Natasha's neck when he left. Nat looks distressed until it is replaced by pearls and she gets distracted by the shiny. - the ball is so painful please Anatole no more - when Anatole and Natasha stand together In front of 9 flood lights then the door closes? I die - the door closing makes it final and I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it - Natasha's costume change is great you can see how teeny Denee is - Natasha gushing about how much she loves Anatole to the crowd makes me cry - Pierre you gentle giant plz stop drinking -that's right Sonya. Roast her. - Natasha no longer says " he's my master and I am his slave." In the genius annotations of the off broadway cast Dave says that the line might change because he knows how it looks to have an African American woman sing that about a white man. He said it was up to Denee to decide what she was comfortable with, and in the show it wasn't there. ( I'm glad Denee stopped saying something she wasn't okay with) -oh Sonya nothing is your fault you little gerbil please calm down and realize you aren't responsible for Natasha -THE PLAN FOR NATALIE ROSTOVAS ABDUCTION HAD ALL BEEN- - balaga is such a fun song. I didn't get egg shakers but everyone who did seemed to have a good time! - during the abduction when Anatole says not yet and pauses, Lucas draws it out a ton. One of the people next to me tried shaking her egg to get it started up again and he just looked at us and said " no." -Natasha is so excited to go with him I hate it. Also the violin is amazing as it always is in that show. - yOU WILL NOT WNTER MYYY HOUSE S C O UN D R E L. - Denee runs up to what looks like a sink (?) and you can see her miming taking arsenic. -Pierres reality check kills me. He's been telling himself he's worthless nothing matters and he probably hasn't gone outside in a long time, and then someone's asking for him for his friend. -what?? whAt? WHAT??? - Anatole sobbing in Helene's lap is good and terrible at the same time. She strokes his hair, and it makes me die. - DRAG HIM PIERRE. THREATEN THE BAD MAN. - when Anatole leaves Pierre and him throw his bag around for a bit. - Natasha very ill is so sad I cried then -in Andrey and Pierre, Andrey is so tired. He's holding the letters with anger, like he doesn't want to touch them anymore. It makes me upset because only about 25 songs ago he clutched them to his heart. - when Andrey says ' never speak of that' he holds Pierre up on his tip toes by his shirt. On " again" he punches Pierre in the chest and runs down to his fathers throne. He sits there and the tension never leaves him as he grips the arms of the chair. Mary tries to fret over him, but he waves her away. - Natasha and Pierre is the saddest song too. Natasha is so small in her room plain, baggy white nightgown and no shoes. The emotions in that song are so high. Natasha climbs up the stairs as Pierre starts the " if I were not myself" part of the song, and hesitates with each kind thing he says. - Pierre stops after "I" and I think he only continues because he sees that Natasha has heard him and that she tenses at the word. - "UNABLE TO FIND THE SLEEVES." - the comet is a good prop I love the comet #gayiconthecomet - the stage door was so amazing. All the actors were the sweetest. I'm super terrible at names so I apologize if I just call someone their character name. -Paul Pinto came out and instead of saying " I loved your performance and my friends did as well" I said " my friends love you and told me to say hi" he looked a little hurt and said "oh, well tell your friends I said hi, I guess." I have hurt the best man on this planet and I can never make it up - I told the guy who plays dolokhov that he was amazing and I cried very hard and he said " oh well that's what we always want, isn't it?" - PEARL ( an ensemble member) SIGNS IN PURPLE. I ASKED HER WHY SHE SAID IT WAS BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO BE DIFFERENT SO I WOULD REMEMBER HER. - josh came out even though he had somewhere to be. He went to the end of the line and worked his way up. - josh has the kindest eyes, he could stab me and I would apologize for getting blood on his knife. He also has a baby face and a beanie. I love him. There's more, like a lot about the set so if you want to hear me infodump about comet please let me know kids

2. Pick ONE dead character that you’d bring back to life.

I already answered this one in a previous ask with Davy as my choice, but since this is a SEPARATE post I suppose I could choose someone else. (Lord knows there’s a hell of a lot of people to choose from) I think this time I’m gonna go with Cillian! His death didn’t hit me too hard the first time I read the books back when I was 15, but during my three hundred rereads I’ve grown to appreciate Cillian more as a character and I’m really curious to see how he would act (and how TODD would act) if they were ever reunited. I think that since Todd was just a kid at the beginning of the book who was sick of his dad nagging him, we didn’t get to have a good look at what Cillian was like when he wasn’t being abrasive to Todd. So I think it would be really cool to have him AND Ben come back into Todd’s life. Plus, Cillian has much more of a rebellious streak than Ben and I want to see him kick some ass in the war and tear Mayor Prentiss to shreds for manipulating his boy!!

5. Scene that made you cry the hardest?

PROBABLY Manchee, just because it caught me by surprise the most since innocent little me had heard nothing about these books and didn’t know how ruthless Patrick Ness could be to his characters lol. But Manchee is just one of the Big Three, since there was at LEAST one part that i sobbed in every book. In book 2 I was absolutely floored during the scene where Viola was being Asked and Todd was helpless on the other side of the glass. I was fully convinced that the Mayor would kill her and I was crying a lot. And then during the end of Monsters of Men i was straight up WEEPING, feeling actually literally sick at the thought of these two brave kids making it through all this crap to have Todd die of friendly fire. I still think I cried the hardest with Manchee bc I didn’t have any experience with CW death scenes yet, but Todd’s scene is a close contender.

12. How do you feel about Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley playing Todd and Viola?

SO SO SO conflicted. Like I really honestly DO understand why they needed to cast older actors. If these movies take off and we do get three/four of them, they’re going to take a LONG time to produce. Right now our tentative release date for the first movie is 2019, almost two years away. If they had cast actual 13 year olds to play these characters, then by the time the final movie came I they would definitely be in their 20s. Idk about you guys, but how I looked at 13 is RADICALLY different from how I look now as a 22 year old. Plus there’s the whole thing about having to have education provided for child actors and all the interferences with their parents etc etc. I get it. Child actors are impractical when you can cast someone who LOOKS young and will most likely stay looking young for a while (and make-up departments can play a hand erasing any significant aging that may occur).

But the bitter baby part of me still wants to pout. I can’t see Tom and Daisy being realistically cast as 13/14 year olds, so they odds of them aging up the characters is pretty high, which rubs me the wrong way since so much of the The Knife of Never Letting Go depends on their childhood innocence. I know that Tom can easily repeat the mantra “x days til i turn 15″ just as easily as he can for 13, but it will still bother me. I want so badly for audiences to understand the horrors of little boys being forced to murder someone at age 13 to Become a Man. That Todd and Viola both lost their families so QUICKLY when they were just little kids, and forced to go on the run for reasons they didn’t even understand. I want Todd to be the bratty 12-year-old he should rightfully be. But I know that I can’t get that and I have to move on.

As for Tom and Daisy specifically, I’m getting used to the idea of them being Todd and Viola. I haven’t seen Spiderman yet, but from what I’ve heard and from clips I’ve seen I think he’d do a good job with Todd. And I’ve seen The Force Awakens and know that Daisy is a hell of an actor too. She definitely has the tenacity and spirit that Viola deserves. And since both are such high profile actors at the moment I think they’ll draw in good crowds for the movies. BUT (gotta bring back those drawbacks!) since they’re both so busy with Star Wars/Spiderman, it’s clear they haven’t had time to really examine their roles yet. We’ve all probably seen the gifset of Tom saying that he still needs to read the book. I understand they’re busy with the popularity of their own movies so I definitely don’t fault them for not knowing much about Chaos Walking (it’s still relatively unknown after all) but I still wish we could have had actors who had more time to research their parts. If Tom can’t learn to pull off a hick accent in a month, my soul with wither

25. Who’s your favorite minor/underappreciated character and why?

WILFFFFFFFFFFFF

I’d trust Wilf with my life. That man is a saint and deserves a book of his own tbh. He’s so kind and so willing to put himself in danger to protect others and so REASONABLE amidst all the chaos in these books and he was a blessing to be included (especially since he initially wasn’t supposed to be an Important Character). I’m so so glad he never got injured or died because I really don’t think I would have been able to recover from that loss.

They should be called that! I usually only go for names-combinations for the ships names (so kamisero and serokami and seronari and so on), but I’m sure if they were a bigger ship that would be the name! It’s not kamisero, but there’s a fic by @shizuumi151 in which they call themselves that, by the way~ (……….it’s honestly one of the fics I’ve read the most times in recent times so tbh if you feel like it you should check it out (σ･з･)σ )

So Bakugou and Todoroki's hero names didn't get decided early on I think because they're each gonna get their own little mini arcs that get em to decide them, but I kinda wanted to know your opinion on what they might end up being? 'Course they'll probably be derived from future plot that we don't know right now, but I wanted to ask anyway!

So I have no clue, honest, but as far as Bakugou goes I’ll keep on holding onto Ground Zero until Horikoshi officially and unequivocally tells me he 100% definitely scrapped it, my friend - it’s such a cool name??? I read it and I nearly cried when I realized that probably it’s not gonna be his actual hero name rip

Thank you for liking it!!!! Oh my gods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It wasn’t a bandage tho, just baby Sero messin around! And yeah, they do remember him! They’re just deaged, time didn’t literally turn back for them - only being babies their thought process is way simpler so the most they know is that that’s Bakugou and he’s good and safe and they like him. That’s about it, nothing more complex than that haha

Monoma’s great tho!!!! I mean. He’s an asshole. And a total disaster. And his inferiority complex is a seriously huge thing. But he’s great!!!!!!!!!! That’s an amazing pick as a fave character t b h I think we’re getting more of him (together with the whole 1B class) in the manga soon, so don’t despair too much about the lack of content just yet haha
