OC Feels: Paladin Rex Edition

This was of course from Terminator, with Kyle Reese (as played by Michael Biehn, my main Paladin Rex faceclaim), but I liked the parallels between their characters:

Kyle Reese was sent back to the past on a mission to save a critically important lady named Sarah and ensure the future of his faction... he succeeded.

Paladin Henry Rex was on a mission back in the past to save a critically important lady named Sarah and ensure the future of his faction... he failed.

For Rex, however, there was no opportunity to go back in time. He can only look back now and wonder what might have been, if everything had worked out differently...
