Remember AFO’s bodyguard in chapter 193? I wonder if that is Gigantomachia before the addition of all his quirks. Interestingly, the doctors noted that Gigantomachia was one of the few who could handle the addition of those quirks through pure strength alone, no enhancements required. AFO definitely knows how to pick his followers.

I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure the translation you read from that chapter was wrong. I think the doctor said "Gigantomachia was AfO's bodyguard because he was this powerful DESPITE not having additional quirks", not because he could have a lot of them. So I don't think Giganto has anything other than the quirk that lets him be.... that.

I mean, now that you mention it, maybe it was just me that read it the wrong way. It could’ve been that the intention here was that without getting multiple quirks he was up to the task, but the wording made me get it wrong. Maybe. Probably. But he looks way too powerful to not have multiple quirks, at least to me.

Now that Shigaraki has grown his hair out, it really is striking how similar Shigaraki looks to the first user of OFA. If Shigaraki had no facial scars, they would look quite similar.

Okay, you know what, you're right, and now I'm both thinking about the possibility that Nana was related to the original holder, and that AfO showed interest in shigaraki because of his looks, not only because of who was his grandma. To him, it would be like having his little brother obeying him, like he always wished for... Jesus Christ.
