“I’m not going to speak as Castiel because [chuckle] Warner Brothers has specifically forbidden it. But I will tell you this. As the actor who plays Castiel I can say that the scene in 15x18 when castiel expressed his love for Dean was very important to me, and it felt like a really meaningful, deeply important conclusion to my character’s arc on the show, and I’ve heard a lot of people saying that it meant a lot to them, and that means the world to me. the server in question is (what began as) the mcrnatural server, a deranged intersection of spn fans and (ex-)emo kids. we were the ones who asked Misha the stigmata question, largely derived from a convoluted joke about an infamous series of bandom RPF called “unholyverse.”

on to the things we have discussed that we did not send you anons about but might have:

1) courtesy of maggie @bulletsdean​, “do you think if someone fucked godstiel it would result in oviposition of the leviathan. he’d just impregnate someone with the leviathan like a female seahorse putting her eggs in the male for development.” we had to add “oviposition” to our banned words list after the ensuing discussion

2) we had an extensive discussion about the function of angel grace and bodily fluids which was largely derivative of theories you had posted.

all are agreed that angel cum would have to be grace, since they are not beings as much as “wavelengths of celestial intent”

there is an in-show implication that angel possession is largely synonymous with containing (any amount of) angel grace in a human vessel who has at least nominally consented to store said grace.

therefore, an angel slutting around could theoretically have any number of available vessels to swap consciousness between so long as the consent to do so is not revoked between the transfer of grace and the possession of the vessel

i am adding this postulation post-facto without consulting the rest of the gang but i think in practice this could easily replicate quantum superposition in much the same way Cas used the Biggersons to hide from heaven

other fluids (like e.g. breast milk) must also be composed of grace for the same reasons as the above

the conception of a nephil requires the intent to conceive a nephil from the siring angel, or there would be way more “oops” nephilim out there. the fact that the idea of nephilim is so anathema to most angels explain why there have been so few (one conceived by Lucifer himself). the human party must consent to at least one aspect of the conception, but does not need to intend to conceive a nephil in the same manner as the siring angel. 

there is theoretically more than one way to bind the grace of an angel to a human soul in order to produce a nephil which resulted in a Gabriel-possessed-Mary and breastfed his grace to baby Jesus theory

again taking the opportunity to add my own batshit theory that, if you take for given that Gabriel-as the only angel on earth for a long time-must have produced Jesus (who was Just Some Nephil), and assume that it would take extraordinary circumstances for an angel to overcome the stigma of creating nephilim, then i posit that the nephil Cas and Metatron kill must be that same nephil sired by Gabriel upon Mary. end digression.
