so i’ve noticed if i binge-listen to classical music type things i have weird moments where segments of music will pop up into my head, and i assume they’re just bits from pieces i’ve listened to but due to my attention span and how inconveniently classical music pieces are named (it’s always like ‘Sonata in E-flat major’, ‘Frittata in C Minor’ or the ‘Moss-covered three-handled family gradunza’), i sometimes suspect my brain is accidentally coming up with something original because it fucked up subconsciously recalling existing bits of music.

then i remember that the point is not only highly unlikely, but ultimately moot, because i possess nearly zero musical talent. i think the real lesson here is that they should go back and rename all classical music pieces in the idiom of Panic! at the Disco’s lengthy titles. Or was it Fall Out Boy? why can’t i keep track of shit
