I LOVE MY DAD EEE. I really wanted this for Christmas but it sold out and he couldn’t get it. I ended up being able to get it somewhere online miraculously and ITS HERE EEEEE

I only really got this for Harumi and Lloyd

also now I have every overlord minifig lol. I had every set from S2 as a kid, ngl that wave sucked besides Kai’s mech, and Garmatron. I loved the golden temple as a kid but looking back now it’s kinda lame as a set :/

Like are u kidding. when it’s revealed lloyd searched for harumi in the rubble that she died in. and we were left ALMOST FOUR YEARS not knowing that . and the fact that little miss girlboss is ALIVE ???? Why do we brush over that. harumi came back and we were like K. but again FOUR YEARS and 5 Seasons had Passed tbh i knew she was like a little bug w spray that u can’t get rid of… BUT LIKE

can you imagine having feelings for someone and then she turns out that she’s tryna like ressurect ur evil dad and then also dies but you still kinda like her and so when she dies ur like omggg lemme look for u :::: and turns out u literally couldn’t find her REMAINS but then surprise ! years later ! she’s actually alive! and now she is trying to make you evil TOO. One of the things I was most disappointed about in crystallized was Nya’s arc. I definitely think that the struggling with her powers angle was the way to go, but honestly? She’d just spent a year completely merged with the sea, and all that comes after that is frustration that she can’t use her powers anymore. I think that if anything, she should have been scared that they would come back. She was part of the ocean, and that’s not something that you can erase. Every time she’s near water, she can hear it whispering to her, asking her to come back. It misses her, and sometimes, she thinks that she misses it too. Wouldn’t it be nice to experience that feeling of oneness, of being everything again? When she does use her powers, it feels like walking a tightrope, like if she uses even slightly too much, if she loses focus for even a second, she’ll go tumbling back into the waters and Nya will be gone again. And everyone else tries to tell her to trust herself, that she won’t lose control and that eventually she’ll feel normal again, but she knows. The sea will always be with her now, waiting for her to return.

Or rather, it's setting. There was also originally going to be a spider theme with Harumi coming back as a cyborg-spider, but Monkie Kid broadly had the same idea for a spider theme and it was back to the drawing board for Ninjago. Nadakhan was supposed to be there too! And originally Garmadon was going to die and Lloyd would go full Oni and destroy the Overlord and take his throne and be completely evil till the others would defeat him.

HI ALL!!

I just finished Crystallized!!

I’m aware everyone seems to hate this one but. This was a favorite of mine. The animation, the writing, the rebuilding, the emotion.

The only critique I had was Harumi getting a sudden redemption at the end, but it didn’t change much about the plot and you can easily think of it differently if desired.

All in all, FANTASTIC season, and I can’t wait to watch Dragons Rising. ❤️

Can you imagine what Lloyd was thinking before they found out that Garmadon lived with Vinny.

Like you find out there's this guy who knows enough about the Overlord and has enough of an ability to know and sense he's coming back. You think that it's going to be some top secret guy with a ton of knowledge or abilities or something to explain how he knows.

Then, you find out that the clues are coming from the apartment of the anxiety ridden, average as hell camera man from the local news station. Man, I'd be confused as hell

Haven’t watched the trailers for new season but it looks neat ( ^_^)d Overall, Crystallized was a pretty decent end to that era of Ninjago and I can’t wait to see where we go next (Hopefully they address the trauma at some point… ehh maybe not).

I wanted to try so hard to make this an actual scene, oh well. Essentially in this au ronin takes his shares of the tea house and just runs it as an honest business. He pretty much adopts all the kids by accident, but is unashamed that nya is his favorite kid. After March of the Oni and Chrystalized, the gang essentially live in the tea shop to destress and recover.

Ronin and dareth get married and they end up adopting baby Acronix, when they find out he was reversed by the time blades (wu was just flat out killed and reincarnated). Acronix is/was a trans man; so they weren’t sure if they should raise him as if he was still a boy, or a girl, or what.

After talking with the Ninja (who are all queer/trans) they decided to allow the baby to live separate from their past life; so they renamed them Daruma and decided to raise her as a girl until she decided on her own what her gender was gonna be (and they let her know that as often as possible). She and CJ are essentially raised as cousins.

Edit: Oh! I forgot! Ronin is Taiwanese and dareth is white American… he gives off such well meaning-but-accidentally racist/sexist-American dojo owner-kinda vibes
