♡ To add to that… He has trouble reading social cues in some cases. Due to this, he may struggle to understand what some might consider rude, and so he can be kind of insensitive sometimes. That’s the only circumstance I could imagine him hurting your feelings. He would never hurt you on purpose.

♡ If he accidentally insults your appearance he will make sure that you feel as handsome as you are.

I think what George means by it being easier if his dad stayed dead is that he had grieved and come to terms with his passing but now that he found out that his dad is alive he has to deal with the fact that his dad just abandoned him and didn't seem to care for him.

Seeng Daiji at the end of the episode is so heartbreaking. He seems so broken. The actor plays him so well.

Like you can see and FEEL just how broken he is. And it sucks because right NOW would be the perfect time for a family intervention.

But the problem is, Ikki’s learned to give Daiji space /not smother him with parenting.

And Sakura still sees Daiji as an innocent and kind older brother who could do no wrong. She probably trusts that he’ll take care of himself. She never had to really worry about Daiji on that front. (Except that time he tried to kill Ikki and ran away. 💔 🤪….I’m MORE than sure she still thinks Ikki was at fault for that one tho.) Ikki was the one doing the parenting.

And worst of all — this is what Daiji wanted. To be seen as capable by his family.

The problem is *DAIJI** still doesn’t see himself as capable, and the fact that his Fenix Fantasy is falling to ruin? Man I’m telling y’all it’s not gonna be long before he’s back on that fratricide arc 👾🔫🫠

Gotta be honest I kinda don't get the hate for Hikaru. Like I hear the reasons and people are entitled to those opinions but I disagree. I like him as a character and feel his seeming to lack a personality is kind of part of the character. He's seemingly been with Weekend for quite a while and based on what Masumi says they keep personal convos to a minimum, if they have them at all. While him calling Aguilera a stalker is funny I also think it's emblematic of Weekend causing his perspective to be skewed. He's not a stalker because he's been assigned to protect Sakura, but Aguilera is an enemy and thus her doing what he's doing is bad. He's also clearly dealing with the internal conflict of trying to not treat the Weekend family as a real family whilst also clearly feeling that they are. Ya boy needs himself hella therapy but then again it's Revice and all these characters need themselves hella therapy lol.

Just my thoughts on Hikaru and why I like him as a character.

I think George's response about the justice pretext is that it feels like his dad is trying to dodge the blame for what he did to Genta and not accept responsibility for it. I think George's perspective is that Masumi is no better than him and shouldn't act like he's some noble figure that made a simple mistake. George imo knows what he is and would own it. For example if you asked him why he gave Daiji/Kagerou the Twosidriver he'd simply answer that he was curious what the outcome would be. Whether he'd regret it or not there is a reason. On the flipside Masumi acknowledges George is obviously upset about being abandoned by him and agrees that George has every right to be upset and lash out at him and that George's lack of trust in him is justified.

Yeah, I couldn’t have worded it better myself.

Especially because it looks like George had a good relationship with his dad. (Seeing how he took after him / with experimenting and science and what not)
