The puppy pack goes to a corn maze.

And like every other group activity, they just have to turn it into a competition.

Theo and Liam, having the best noses, are confident of their victory but they quickly discover that they are not the only supernatural creatures in the field.

Glowing eyes between the corn stalks, shadows blocking their paths – human screams.

Who will win the race through the maze?

And what will be the prize?

🍬 Fell into a hole

Every night, Liam has the same dream.

He falls into a hole, deep and dark.

It looks like a rabbit hole but it would have to be a fucking big rabbit and he's kinda glad that he hasn’t seen it yet. Nothing really happens in those dreams but Liam is still terrified of the dark.

Every morning, he wakes up, dirt underneath his fingernails.

Nobody to be seen

Nobody makes a sound

OTL Spooktober 2020 !!

Stuck in a haunted house. Liam and Theo’s haunted house trip.

Theo didn’t think that, when Liam asked him to come along to a haunted house, it would be a truly terrifying experience for him. But, a nightmarish creature reminding him of Tara did the trick. Luckily, Liam was there for him and helped them find the exit again.

Turning Into Your Costume

She's set herself up near the entrance so she can watch the new arrivals as they walk in. Every costume, no matter how minimal or outrageous makes her smile. She loves Halloween.

A ruckus sounds at the door and her attention catches on the members of the local werewolf pack filing into party as loudly as possible. She sort of misses Scott and the other older members of the pack, but the younger ones are entertaining.

Brett leads the way in a 50's greaser getup, his arm slung around Lori's shoulder, his sister wearing a powder blue poodle skirt. Nolan and Alec trail behind dressed as Spiderman and the Flash. Next up is pirate Corey with a ninja Mason clinging to his back. Fuck, they're cute.

Last comes the interim alpha and his chimera. They've gone with the minimal approach of buying adult onesies and calling them costumes. Theo's is designed to look like a firefighter uniform and Liam is a dalmatian. She shakes her head with a private smile as they all make their way toward the kegs for beer that will only effect two of them.

When she thinks most of the stragglers have arrived, she wanders around the party, the full moon singing in the back of her mind, the magic sparking in her veins on this hallowed night. She's searching for opportunities, for folks who need a boost from a witch.

After giving a girl a vial of luck to confess her feelings to her roommate, he passes by the pack who seem to be having a debate.

"They're not in the bestiary, Mason. They can't be real," Liam insists.

"Probably because they're humans with magic, Liam," his best friend answers patiently.

"What do you think, Theo?" Liam turns toward the chimera.

"I think witches exist. I've seen too much to think otherwise."

"Whatever," Liam huffs. "I'm going to get another drink."

She grins, fingers brushing against pouch on her belt. She'd made the dust infused with a certain spell several years ago and had never had an opportunity to use it. Until now.

She intercepts him on his way to the kegs. "Hello, Liam."

"Um, hi?"

His confusion is understandable, they've never interacted before this moment.

"I couldn't help but overhear that you don't believe in witches?"

"Uh. I mean, well, I guess I don't."

She smiles again. "You're about to."

She raised her hands, filled with the contents of the pouch and blows it in his face. He reels back and hits the wall, coughing. Before he can say anything, he begins to change. His onesie sinks into his skin as white fur with black spots sprout all over his body. His body shrinks and his face elongates. Within a minute, Liam stands before her as a dalmatian wearing a red collar.

"Oh, you're a cutie." She giggles. "Don't worry, Liam, it's very temporary. Here." She writes a note on a pink post-it and tucks it in his collar. "Let this be a lesson to you. Now, enjoy your evening of Theo's hands all over you. Maybe you'll tell him how much you like it when you change back." She winks and steps back.

She watches him scramble toward his pack and wanders around to see what other mischief she can cause.

It seems pretty obvious to Theo: Don’t drink the mystery potion given to you by a complete stranger. No matter how ‘trustworthy’ or ‘kind’ they appear to be. It’s sheer stupidity, the sort that he thought didn’t need to be explicitly stated to Liam or the rest of his merry band of idiots.
