As a writer, I think one of the hardest things to accept is that sometimes, side characters are only good as side characters. And no matter how much you wish you could give them their own story to flourish and shine, nothing will depict them as effortlessly and perfectly as barely being in the story at all.

#this doesn't mean that as a reader I'm not constantly salty #since my favourite characters are almost always side characters #I mean what did Vulture get? One or two dedicated chapters? And short ones at that #of course there's Fyodor and Nikolai #I would rewatch to oblivion an anime dedicated to Yuri Plisetsky (the few scenes we have of him aren't nearly enough) #and while I get why tonally and functionally Razumikhin couldn't be in more of the story is it really so much to ask for a dedicated novel #hell even in my own writing some of my favourite characters end up as side characters #barely in the story even though they deserve at least a short story of their own #writing

Were you able to watch Shippuden to the end? I can't, maybe because I already know the end, but really I stayed in the middle and the end is so unacceptable to me that I can't go on. In your opinion is it worth watching it to the end? I liked it so much in the beginning, maybe that's why I'm so disappointed.

Nope, I usually skip filler episodes and never watched the last one. But probably more because I want to leave it unfinished - otherwise it will really feel like the end. And I don't like when the things end. Wedding/marriage is my personal squick so I chose to blissfully ignore how it all ends.

So I can't advise on whether it's worth it.
