12th June 2018 // A new-old photograph of Crown Princess Victoria during her walk through the Swedish province of Skåne. The image - featuring members of the press and the royal court alongside the Crown Princess - was shared by regular royal photographer Pelle T Nilsson. It was sent to him by his colleagues as he was on holiday in Greece at the time and it was the only one of Victoria's 25 province walks he was unable to attend

#Repost @kungahuset --- 🇸🇪🎗 Today marks Veterans Day. At the Royal. Djurgården, together with Prince Carl Philip earlier today, honoured the Swedes who have participated in peacekeeping and humanitarian efforts around the world. After an initial wreath-laying ceremony at the National Veterans Monument, King handed over medals to eight veterans.

“What a day we had in Värmland today! We heard this morning about the progress of the pandemic and the impressive changes that have been made at the Central Hospital in Karlstad. IVA nurse Mia touched on her strong stories about how to never cease to constantly stop and show humanity towards all patients - even when it has been at its hardest. The initiative " Outstanding Single ", where mothers and their children find community and support, in times of isolation was also strong and uplifting. The journey then went on to inspiring " Innovation Park " where we got to meet young entrepreneurs who developed a digital platform to prevent loneliness in students. A project in time! At lunch we found that Värmland continues to deliver culinary experiences. " Kulinarika " is a beautiful place with excellent food - really from earth to table! We ended the day at Västanå theater with its unique environment, creations and incredible performance. Everyone we visited has been affected by the pandemic in one way or another. And it's not over yet, now we have to power up to counteract further spread and the consequences we see at all levels. “ Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia
