Amanda Young:

She searches for balance in her life but rarely finds it, often swinging between extremes. She’s spent most of her life trying to hide herself. She’s perennially terrible at it, but she still tries. More likely to be stubborn or overly critical than out right aggressive or snide. She loves to root for the underdog but has trouble believing in her own abilities. Her sense of justice is likely wildly skewed but she still seeks it out. People rarely take notice of her in daily life, and she can feel ignored because of it. She’s more fun and dynamic than she seems on the surface a lot of the time. That’s only because she can be very picky on who she opens up to. She tries to intellectualize her emotions but has a hard time with it, as if the separate parts of her refuse to work together. She’s a quick study, her intelligence can’t be oversold here, but it compounds her sensitivity to the opinions of others in a way that can become very confusing. Being comfortable is more important than anything else to her, however she’s far more likely to leave her comfort zone for other people than for herself. Enjoys putting her all into something, even if she frequently feels like it isn’t enough.

She’s cautious in love, though when she settles on someone she can romanticize and idealize her partner and the relationship itself. She needs someone she can trust completely. She berates herself internally for not being better, so she’d likely take even small criticisms harshly. She can actually be a very fun person to be around! She’s very playful once she lets her guard down and likes indulging in every pleasurable and romantic. Incredibly loyal, almost to a harsh detriment. She spends a lot of emotional energy on deciding on someone, so it's hard for her to let go once she’s decided. It might take her a while to get used to having another person in her space. Doesn’t like feeling jealous or having her efforts go unnoticed. She may not be perfect, but she’s incredibly loving and dedicated.

He’s got a lot of pain under the surface, and it’s under the surface because he takes such care to not show it to anyone. He feels like one big contradiction, keeping things professional and at arms length despite being so keenly interested in the deeper meaning of things. He’s not naturally aggressive, but can absolutely be cold or harsh. Very protective of people he cares about, almost to the point of annoyance. He absolutely hates it when other people underestimate or undersell his intelligence, though he would never be the kind of person to come right out and say it. He doesn’t like change but desperately needs it in his life. The best thing for him would be to learn to be less rigid and more introspective. After all, he’s not how he is because he wants to be, he’s like this because he has to be.

A bit shy romantically. He’s not used to being able to express himself authentically in romantic situations, and it really shows. Despite that, he does love deeply. Surprisingly tender and caring. If he’s serious about someone then they’re going to get a whole side of him that almost no one else has gotten. He’s loving but he does need his space. His emotions are very tangled due to him neglecting them. Sentimentality runs deep with him, and is unlikely to throw something out if it has tender feelings connected to it. He doesn’t have time for people who are always down on themselves, as it goes against his own nature too strongly. He may also simultaneously find himself attracted to and looking down on people he considers strange. Maybe it’s because he loves control too much and finds them more chaotic than he can handle. Even if it takes a while for him to open up, it’s more than worth it.

Well liked in general, Jesse likes to keep his two worlds as separate as possible, although it might not always be his first choice. Observant, intelligent, and a genuine lover of travel, but not necessarily a lover of harmony or other people's ideas of what he should be doing. Success means a lot to him, and trying to get in the way of that is going to make him very, very angry. Knowing that he can do things for himself is very important to him. Telling Mr.Cromeans what to do is basically never going to go well for anyone, he likes to think of himself as staunchly independent and very creative. His strong memory plus his natural powers of observation make for someone who can know you better than you know yourself, for better or for worse. He longs for a normal life but something inside of him keeps telling him to stray.

This conflict inside of him can make it very difficult for him to form meaningful relationships. On the one hand he wants a traditional ‘normal’ partner that can make him feel like he fits into society, but on the other hand he wants a partner that will accept his darker behaviours and praise him for being special. He’s a charmer regardless: his manners, dress sense, and conversation are on point if he’s not actively trying to murder you.

He has a system of doing things and hates it when things happen unexpectedly, which is often since he tends to associate with people who have a lot of problems. Though he likes to help, its likely he’ll get caught up in the little details of things. He feels things deeply but rarely shows it, after all, emotions simply aren’t practical or productive. He’s not used to other people being competent, but he loves it when they are.

While Asa is unassuming on the surface, it doesn’t take that much digging to find the intensity underneath. His mind is ravenous for information, and or places to apply that information. He’s very skilled and intelligent, and he longs to share everything he’s learned with someone. He likes people who are put together and practical, but he doesn’t often run into them. That may be because of the way he projects himself, people with problems just flock to him.

Slashstrology 4~ Yeah, this is probably gonna be the last one of these for a while, at least until I’ve seen enough slasher movies to fill out another one. Feel free to fight me!

Aries- Pamela Voorhees (Friday The 13th Part 1): She’s on the softer side of aries, but still one none the less.

Taurus - Billy Chapman (Silent Night, Deadly Night): This one i’m mostly just going off of his appearance and also him generally being very nice and reliable if a little boring.

Gemini - Mickey Aldieri (Scream 2): Weirdly enough, what pushed him into gemini for me was him going “hmm...killer, boyfriend, killer, boyfriend...”

Cancer - ‘Jerry Blake’ (The Stepfather Trilogy) He’s very cloying and insecure, the perfectionist streak is in a very cancer way.

Leo - Mark Hoffman (The Saw Series) uh...I don’t really have a reason for this one to be perfectly honest.

Virgo - Tiffany (Blood Widow) I believe they describe her as being very bright and shy prior to, well, if you’ve seen the movie you know.

Libra - Amanda Young (The Saw Series) She was very nearly in the virgo spot, but then I realized something: If Amanda was a virgo then why does she keep making unbeatable traps? Seems like a Libra thing to do to cling to the one bit of positivity in your life, and then fuck it up because you’re used to chaos.

Scorpio - Debbie Salt AKA Mrs.Loomis (Scream 2) I can just see the scorpio in her eyes, all scorpios either have crazy eyes or look like they’re staring into your soul.

Sagittarius - Jackie/Meagan (What Keeps You Alive) because if incredibly emotionally involved murder long cons were a sign, they’d be Sagittarius

Capricorn - Jacob Goodnight (See No Evil Duology) Cap’s always have to be the exaltation of whatever their thing is, so thinking you’re literally doing the work of the lord, yeah that sounds pretty capricorn.

Aquarius - Jill Roberts (Scream 4) Jill is supposed to be a foil or dark mirror to Sydney, I made Sydney a Leo and Aquarius is the opposite of leo.

Pisces- Lester Sinclair (House of Wax) He legitimately just looks so hurt whenever Carly is scared of his knife, and by extension him.

Roman:

He is expressive and emotional, even if he hates how well other people can read him.Roman is also very quick witted and intelligent which can give the impression that he doesn’t feel things as deeply as he does. Blatantly passive aggressive when it comes to most issues. It’s easy for him to make friends, as most people assume he’s tolerant and just, or at the very least harmless. There’s a sense of normalness and innocence about him that others like. He has a well developed artistry and feels stifled when he can’t create. Roman feels like he needs to achieve a lot, and that success can never come fast enough even though he’s already in a better position than most people. He feels like he needs to always be doing something, or else he’s just wasting time.

He likes to show off his partners, and expects that they be worth all the praise he gives them. An emotional connection is very important to Roman, he really craves validation from his romantic and sexual partners. Gets absolutely swept away in romance. Self sabotage is frequent with him, romantically and professionally. He needs to learn how to relax, learning how to take a step back and think things through would do him some good.

He’s surprisingly delicate for how prideful he can be. He likes learning, especially about people. Brahms’s natural intensity lends itself well to loyalty, as long as you don’t end up betraying him. Or doing anything he sees as a betrayal. New situations make him self conscious. Brahms is more nervous than you would imagine too, and you can usually tell by his hands. He takes his time with things, wanting something to be just the way he envisioned it in his head before he lets anyone else see it or even know what it is.

He’s impulsive in his relationships, which doesn’t pair well with his tendency to stick to one person. He’ll likely have lots of children and/or love affairs. He keeps his playfulness when he’s in love, because above all, he sees love as another fun activity he gets to take part in. That temperament can also change quickly, just like it does in the day to day. Brahms is very passionate in relationships and is also very, very territorial. If he’s jealous, trust me, you’ll hear about it. At the heart of it all he wants someone just as romantic as he is to share ideas with.

In Depth Slashstrology...3?4?

Billy Loomis:

Temperamental, insecure, and stuck in the past. He likes contradiction and change because he loves all of the strangeness that comes with humans. Billy has lots of energy, energy that can be very destructive if it's not pointed in the right direction. He communicates directly and easily takes on new projects and responsibilities. He listens well, or at least gives off the impression of being a good listener. Status means nothing to him, as he views everyone with the same level of importance (or rather, lack thereof) He works hard towards security but get frustrated if he’s stuck in the same routine for too long. He feels wrong for wanting attention but craves it deeply.

Billy is incredibly codependent, which may end up being in conflict with his natural need for change. He needs to figure out who he is without another person to contrast himself to. He gives all of himself in a relationship, but his partners may find it frustrating when his love and kindness isn’t only directed at them. He likes to save and to be saved. Not always reliable but you’ll never be confused on whether or not he wants you in his life.

He pays great attention to the little details of life, but that doesn’t mean that he’s an especially put together person. He feels a lot of what the people around him feel, and needs a lot of time to himself to sort all of the tangled emotions out. That being said, he is wonderful fun to be around and may even seek out the drama that’s going to feel so very draining to him later. He’s very independent and rarely takes things at face value, always wanting to dig deeper but may also humor someone with shallow ideals regardless.

Stu likely got romantic interests young, he likes the feeling of being in the throws of romance and sex. While his affections will stay for a while, people universally are very draining to him. He wants a connection that goes beyond the physical and emotional, even if he won't admit it to himself. He’s great at making people feel like they’re worth it, and he wants that in return. Even if he already knows he is.

Slashstrology Round 3 - Now Featuring Survivors

Aries- Jess (Black Christmas 1974) Can’t tie an aries woman down, especially with her boyfriends boring ass.

Taurus - Arkin (The Collector) Arkin was actually the hardest to place out of the entire group.

Gemini - Taylor Gentry (Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon) Taylor and Leslie vibe so well with each other because they’re both ruled by mercury,

Cancer - Greta Evans (The Boy) At some point I have to stop making characters with issues surrounding parenting or their parents cancers.

Leo - Sydney Prescott (Scream Saga) Everybody’s just....mad at Sidney for getting attention she doesn’t want, which is like half of the leo experience.

Virgo - Carly (House of Wax) Carly, and by extension her brother, were probably the hardest to place after Arkin. Which is why I gave them Virgo. Virgo is the most populated sign so it’s harder to pin Virgos down.

Libra - Brigitte Fitzgerald (Ginger Snaps) In Ginger Snaps, whenever Ginger and Bridgitte go to the nurse because of Ginger’s period, Ginger says “ I’m sixteen, she just turned 15″ and since this movie takes place in October, that means Bridgitte is probably a Libra.

Scorpio - Nancy Thompson (A Nightmare on Elm Street) We just love to psychologically torture our water signs, don’t we?

Sagittarius - Laurie Strode (Halloween) Laurie is intelligent and capable, but not over grandiose or neurotic about it.

Capricorn - Sally Hardesty (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Pam literally says that Sally is a capricorn. Nuff said.

Aquarius - Tommy Jarvis (Friday the Thirteenth 4-6) He’s the most responsible person in his house in part 4 and he’s like 8. Every Aquarius I know grew up having to take care of other people.

Pisces - Andy Barclay (Childs Play Trilogy) It’s snowing during Andy’s birthday and he’s a sweet kid, so his birthday could be late February to March.

Carrie:

Nothing pleases her more than being helpful. She’s reasonable and practical but she isn’t used to anyone taking her seriously. She’s much more intelligent than most would give her credit for, and she’s good at many things. Granted, that might be because she tends to pick apart the flaws in everything, so she works on things until they’re perfect. It can take her a while to make her own decisions, since she has to weigh everything out first. In nature, soft yet self preserving. Her distinct challenge in life is to let her desires be told through her own voice, as she’s also quick to sacrifice herself for others. She can also be self defeating, due to both her perfectionist nature and her low self esteem.

Her desire for companionship runs deep, although she’s more than capable of taking care of herself. She wants a partner that will cherish her, and give her the attention she craves but can’t seem to get from anyone else. She’s an attentive if a little neurotic partner. She has a surprisingly high need for physical affection, and can be quite clingy. It may take her a long time to get used to a partner, since she’s so unused to anyone changing her routine.She may likely get taken advantage of by people with a convincing sob story. She’s also incredibly dedicated, willing stick with someone through practically anything.

It took a while for him to trust himself when it comes to communication, and he is prone to guilt. He has great need to set himself apart from the rest of society, to prove that he’s different. He has an adventurous streak in him, a desire to run absolutely wild. He feels stifled if he gets into a routine. Feeling accomplished is a big deal to him, and his mind needs to be challenged for him to have interest in something.

In love Josef wants someone he can, for lack of better phrasing, get weird with. A deep emotional and mental (even spiritual) connection is very important to him. He tends to be controlling, but he usually only does it by accident. His emotions are apparent, though he’s not prone to emotional extremes. He’s very focused on his partner, and has a great disdain for time he has to take away from them. He can be mistrustful, always expecting the worst out of people. He gives a lot and expects a lot in return, but really what he wants is understanding.

Thoughts on Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker

- Before we get into my actual thoughts, I would like to give anyone who was thinking about watching this movie a big ol’ content warning for homophobia and in particular heavy use of the F slur. Also a content warning for......attempt to incite sexual violence I guess?

- Why does this movie have this title? It has literally nothing to do with the plot of the movie.

- Wait why wouldn’t you just take the baby with you to go see your grandparents?

- Aunt Cheryl is the scariest looking woman, especially with short hair.

- Who wakes up a 17 year old boy like that?

- Yet another teenage boy in a horror movie named Billy. That’s like the fourth or fifth one. Well I guess Billy Lenz isn’t a teenager. At least this ones not the antagonist, I was starting to feel bad for all the boys named Billy.

- he just has a bicycle with a motor attached to it.

- Did they let you practice basketball in short shorts and no shirt in the 80′s?

- Yeah if anyone ever gets that upset about you wanting to move away from them, just...run.

- Girlfriend was pointless but pretty nice.

- God the main cop in this is awful. He’s the kind of cop that makes Mark Hoffman from Saw look like a bleeding heart that only believes in mercy.

- Wait so did Billy get the scholarship anyway? how did he suddenly come into enough money to go to that college in Denver.

- Imagine just somehow not seeing the blood in the fridge.

- Ya know, you probably could have just...told Billy you were his real mother long before this point Cheryl.

- I feel sorry for that old couple. Yeah they were bickering constantly but they still liked each other.

- The sort of false ending to this movie feels very....Friday the 13th Part 1 to me.

Aries- Jill Tuck (Saw Series) Almost made her a cancer because she always looks like she’s on the verge of tears, but in a lot of cases (other than her death for some reason) she’s actually very...I don’t want to say strategic but very logical.

Taurus - Ghost (Ginger Snaps 2) Leave it to a Taurus to enslave a werewolf girl and almost murder their own grandma because they weren’t behaving how they want.

Gemini - Bea (The Babysitter Duology) I don’t know how to explain this one because to me everything about her scream Gemini.

Cancer - Johnny (He’s Out There) Uh.....IDK honestly. Family mummy doll things?

Leo - Tiffany Valentine (Chucky Series) Aesthetic on point in a way that only Leos can do.

Virgo - Carrie White (Carrie) Wow a canon birthday, haven’t had one of those in a while.

Libra - Dr. Lawrence Gordon (Saw Series) Uh no real reason other than him seeming the most balanced out of all the apprentices.

Scorpio - Cyrus Kriticos (Thir13en Ghosts) Have you seen the scene where he’s beating Arthur with his cane telling him he’s insignificant and a loser? yeah you know why he’s a scorpio.

Sagittarius - Josef/Aaron (Creep Duology) Close call between Sagittarius and Aquarius for him, but I ultimately chose Sagittarius for him since when he’s giving his little speech in the river in Creep 2 in sounds like he’s going into the story of his birth.

Capricorn - Lucas Lerner (Better Watch Out) Movie takes place some time in December, Lucas says he’ll be 13 in a few weeks which means his birthday is probably before the 20th of January but after the 22nd of December.

Aquarius - Chad (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) Mostly just all the “we’re special” shit he kept barking.

Pisces - Airam (Look Away) Uh, It was snowing in the flash back when they were born?
