Guinevere running normally, with full extension
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Guinevere running injured, holding her shoulders tensed, short extension
In re: that Crufts agility dog that was so obviously pained--
I didn't get many photos of Guinevere when she was first injured. That whole open heart surgery thing. But that pained Crufts agility dog was moving *just* like Injured Guinevere: tight jerky motions of the forelegs, flatter motion overall, restricted foreleg extension, hesitating before any harder landing on her forelegs.
When Guinevere showed symptoms we got x-rays with our vet immediately; no clear answers. She got worse; we took her to the university vet hospital. First Emergency (6 weeks crate rest), then Neuro, we got her ALL the diagnostics. She had an MRI. They couldn't find anything in radiology. They really, really wanted to tell me that it was all behavioral. I insisted we keep trying.
So they reluctantly referred me to a weirdly titled department and said, "they do more with joints, maybe they can help". I was doubtful but I got there to discover IT'S FREAKING PT/REHAB. I didn't even know there WAS a veterinary rehab group, why did they disguise the name?? We would have taken Guinevere there immediately for PT back in Oct, while also pursuing a diagnosis.
But further, the PT/REHAB vet was able to diagnose Guinevere immediately with laxity of joints and palpable shoulder subluxation; the poor kid's got a connective tissue disorder, and it's just as difficult to get diagnosed in dogs as it is in people 🙃
And until then, every specialist we saw wanted to call it "behavioral." (Everybody remember the Internal Med specialist who did the CT in April? He didn't want to do diagnostics, he just wanted to send her to a behaviorist.) Even the Emergency department thought her shyness--freezing up in a strange place for strangers--meant it was all attention-getting behavior at home, not truly pain.
So yeah. I am not surprised that the dog at Crufts was labeled "behavioral" too. Whether the dog has been through diagnostics or not, this is apparently the new thing.
Rescue dog? Maybe a little shy? Mystery pain? Nah, it's just behavioral. It's the new "I don't immediately recognize your symptoms, so I diagnose 'anxiety' even though the psychs say there's no anxiety, enjoy your poisoned medical records."

Has adaptative training been implemented with any of the animals for their veterinary care?
How do you pick what species to have in the park?
My nieces have been raving about the Indominus (they call her "Blizzard") since visiting.
Glad they enjoyed themselves! Perhaps we should hold a quiz on what Indominus' name should be!
Adaptive training has certainly been implemented for several species, though with varying degrees of success. Rexy and Muse, our magnificent Mosasaurus, know the cues for feeding time, but that's about as far as it goes.
The Velociraptors are the classic success story. Our chief behaviorist, Owen Grady, regularly utilizes adaptive training in their routines, but he is the only one able to do so, as the raptors view him as their alpha. We've yet to see an instance where a raptor or an equivalent carnivore will follow the lead of anyone who hasn't interacted with them regularly since birth.
Herbivores, too, show some varying responses to adaptive training. Triceratops and others recognize their caretakers and allow themselves to be petted, but aren't especially willing to perform any task too onerous. That said, Bumpy, our most famous Ankylosaurus, is proving to be one smart cookie, and regular contact with her adoptive daddy seems to only encourage her creativity!
As for your second question: it's a process! Any new species is studied on Isla Sorna, before being transferred to Jurassic World, and that's only after years of careful observation. If the dinosaur meets all the criteria for positive inclusion in a captive setting, it's moved to Nublar for further study. If all goes well, the new dinosaur takes their place in our immense island family!

DOGS WENT TO VET TODAY it went pretty well. Noods did fine and is fine. Ella could stand to lose 2lb or so and one of her canines is cracked!!! So they took some blood to see if she's a good candidate for going under for a dental, since she's getting up there.
Blue, they said her arthritis is really bad. Her knees as well as hips, now. They are having us so adequan injections ourselves 2x a week for a month and then we will see how she is doing and take some knee rads if it doesn't help :( Poor Blue. Our vets are so good though. They're always very kind and helpful and come up with a variety of treatment ideas based on what we can afford
Miss Chop is being Extra Haunted and actually like. Her behavior is impossible to manage right now. Which I haven't talked about bc it's so so stressful. We are now consulting w Sarah Stremming & a veterinary behaviorist AND our local vet to try and find a med cocktail that will help her nervous system regulate itself enough that we can actually work on training in any meaningful way.
Ughhhh. She's such a project dog. I love her so much but it's really more than I can handle most days 😭

It has been brought to the attention of the Blights Ending Moderation Team that a couple of anonymous messages have been shared with the claim that we have a ‘man hating’ plot and system. We can only assume this is a reference to our matriarchal clan, GladeClan, and would like to take a moment and address those concerns.
First I would like to reassure that GladeClan, both culturally and on an individual character level, does not “hate men.” The toms in the clan are highly valued and beloved the same as their molly clanmates. There are numerous, important roles which they can still occupy - such as herbalists, advisors, monarchs, and runners.
Approximately 30% of GladeClan are toms, about 27% are some flavor of Non-binary, and less than half are mollies at around 43%. It would not make sense to have a clan that hates or undervalues ⅓ of their population. In battle toms will be defended just as fiercely as their molly clanmates, and in tragedy they will be mourned just as deeply.
In order to help understand GladeClan’s matriarchal society I think it would be beneficial to discuss the several, key influences which it is a culmination of.
I work at a veterinary clinic and am studying feline behavior - not only on my personal time, but attending courses - with the goal of becoming a behaviorist. I’m fascinated by the feline world and love to utilize my knowledge and experience in the worldbuilding process when possible.
In the real world, away from the anthropomorphized world of Warriors, feral colonies - without human intervention, such as TNR - will naturally form around nursing queens and their kittens. It is a sort of communal child-rearing situation.  Females from previous litters may stick around to help raise future litters, while toms will typically leave when they approach sexual maturity in order to establish a territory of their own and reproduce.
Domestic cats are uniquely social, their structure and means of communication deviate from the way lions - the only other truly social feline - operate. As fascinating as this is, it’s often ignored in the development of Warriors and other xenofic societies because it can be difficult to navigate in a way that is both believable and palatable. What the goal should be, when tackling this obstacle, is to maintain the suspension of disbelief without crossing into problem territory.
You can read more about the fascinating domestication and social behavior of cats here: [link] To learn more about what I discussed, scroll down to Part Four: Literally Tiny Lions.
Another great love of mine is hyenas, in particular the spotted hyena. These are extremely intelligent animals, at times described as comparable to - or even surpassing - certain subgroups of primates. Despite this, hyenas remain widely misunderstood. They are very efficient hunters, despite their reputation as scavengers - not that they’ll pass up a good meal if they find one - and operate on a matriarchy far more stringent than GladeClan’s. They also employ a fission-fusion society, which was a major inspiration for GladeClan’s multiple camps.
In spotted hyena clans the lowest ranking female is still above the highest ranking male, and the offspring of the matriarch will be of higher rank than the offspring of another hyena. This was an inspiration for GladeClan’s tradition of nepotism, but we did not translate the strict dichotomy of males and females into the world of Blights Ending. A male warrior and a female warrior, for example, are of equal value and all kits are celebrated and treated equally.
Although it was my fascination with the natural world that laid the basic foundation, or the framework, for GladeClan it was Mod Cedar’s heritage and experience which introduced the needed human element into GladeClan and fleshed it out, building it into the amazing and nuanced society we see in our roleplay today.
So I’m going to let Mod Cedar take it from here.
Mod Rufus
I am Indigenous and would like to weigh in on the concerns regarding our roleplay, in particular the matriarchal group GladeClan, through the lens of my culture. I hope that by doing so, everyone reading can understand our intentions a little more and why we've made the decision to write GladeClan the way we have.
There are some things about my tribe’s culture I am not permitted to share with outsiders, but I don’t believe anything that's applicable to anything I'm discussing here. If you’re from another tribe and reading this but have a different experience, that is okay. I know that Native tribes are not the same and we’re all different. GladeClan was mostly based around hyena & feral cat dynamics, but I touched up on it and created or contributed to various lore pieces that are loosely inspired by my culture.
Firstly, I want to put a stop to the idea that matriarchal societies are inherently cruel or unfair to men. In my tribe women are considered extremely close to the land, being creators and the mothers of all humans. As such, mostly women own land. This isn’t to punish men - who are still extremely important and have their own traditional roles in our tribe, but women are the ones who are trusted with tending to the land the most. Women have special ceremonies and dances that only they are allowed to do, and women get to decide who the next chief of the tribe will be. Men are not allowed to marry women without proving they’re capable of taking good care of them.
Men are brothers, fathers, role models, protectors, sacred members of our tribe. But they aren’t given full power. That was my inspiration for GladeClan.
In my tribes eyes, our creator gave women and men different gifts (as in roles, abilities, dances, etc), and it is seen to be disrespectful towards the other if you take from them, because you are taking that group’s gift. Of course, if you're two-spirit this is another story.
Although this may remind you of gender roles typical in American, European, and other colonized societies but we have always recognized the varying expressions of gender and welcomed those who are two-spirit to participate in special roles as well as the roles of the "opposite" group. I've always loved how my culture celebrates all genders and their own unique ways and presentations. Essentially, "Western" understandings of gender and transness can't be accurately applied to my tribes experience and beliefs. I wanted to clarify and express that here.
I wanted GladeClan to be based around mothers. In my culture mothers are incredibly sacred, and I wanted to play with the idea of celebrating mothers and motherly roles in the clan’s society.
The combination of my tribe’s culture, hyena and feral cat behavior, and motherhood seemed to mix well together to create GladeClan. I wanted a nice balance, and I want to believe that we achieved that.
The Mother is an important part of the lore of Blight's Ending. She is the ultimate creator, which is another similarity to my tribe's culture (one I really like!) and an inspiration for how I envisioned GladeClan. If The Mother is such an important figure in the clans' lives, I figured that a matriarchal clan would make sense - a clan that celebrates mothers.
If you check our wedding lore, you'll see how that inspiration for motherhood and its importance was incorporated into the lore.
If you'd like to read more about feminism from an indigenous perspective this article is a good place to start: [link].
Mod Cedar
Addendum: An additional concern has been raised during the time we took in writing this post, instead of addressing it in a separate post we’re going to discuss it here given that it is an extension of the subjects which we’ve addressed above.
When it comes to the matriarchy of GladeClan it is very oriented around the “sense of self,” while toms are not permitted to be leaders, deputies, or healers there is no set definition of “tom.” I am a trans masculine butch lesbian who uses he/they pronouns - as a side note, the lesbian in me is rather tired of the ‘man hating’ accusations - and if I felt I met the cultural understanding of the requirements for leadership then I would be permitted in the role. If another trans masculine he/him butch lesbian felt they didn’t fit the role, then they would not.
Early in the roleplay we were presented with the question of what would happen if a molly became leader, or another high rank, and later realized they were a trans tom. Would they be forcibly removed? In truth, the most realistic course of action in this event would be that the character would voluntarily resign as he no longer meets the requirements of the position. This is a culture he was born and raised in, there would be no reason for him to dig his heels in for the sake of maintaining power.
GladeClan has existed for a long time in Blights Ending canon, established well before the memory of any living cat or their immediate kin, as such their beliefs and traditions are fairly cemented. We do not allow character arcs or sub-plots where characters question or revolt against the matriarchy because it simply does not make sense for that society, anymore than it would for a RiverClan cat to suggest they move away from a fish-based diet because the other clans don’t rely on fish.
We do not have cats who question BarrenClan’s rough-and-tumble lifestyle in favor of pacifism - despite being a far more recent clan, nor do we have characters who question why CopseClan will only say StarClan when performing a ceremony. BarrenClan’s punk influence and CopseClan’s Jewish influence isn’t questioned in the same way GladeClan is, and we honestly find the amount of controversy surrounding it to be concerning. We do not think that people who criticize, or are uncomfortable, with GladeClan are misogynistic or anti-indigenous but we do implore them to re-examine where these thoughts and feelings stem from.

Understanding Canine Depression: Signs, Causes, and Remedies
Introduction
The emotional well-being of dogs is a topic that has gained increasing attention in recent years. Recognizing and addressing canine depression is crucial for maintaining the health and happiness of our furry companions. This article explores the signs of depression in dogs, its potential causes, and effective strategies for alleviation.
Recognizing the Signs of Depression in Dogs
Dogs may not express sadness in the same way humans do, but there are several indicators that can suggest a dog is experiencing depression:
Changes in Appetite: A depressed dog might lose interest in food or, conversely, eat excessively as a form of comfort.
Altered Sleep Patterns: Like humans, depressed dogs may sleep more than usual. However, restlessness and insomnia can also be signs.
Lack of Interest in Activities: A noticeable disinterest in play, walks, or activities they previously enjoyed can be a sign of depression.
Avoidance and Hiding: Depressed dogs might avoid interaction and hide more often.
Excessive Licking or Grooming: This can be a coping mechanism for stress or anxiety.
Changes in Vocalization: Increased whimpering, howling, or silence can indicate emotional distress.
Understanding the Causes
Several factors can contribute to depression in dogs:
Environmental Changes: Moving to a new home, a change in the owner's schedule, or the addition of a new family member (pet or human) can affect a dog's emotional state.
Loss of a Companion: The death or absence of a family member or another pet can trigger grief and depression in dogs.
Neglect or Abuse: Past trauma, neglect, or abuse can lead to long-term psychological issues in dogs.
Health Issues: Chronic pain or debilitating illnesses can impact a dog’s mood and behavior.
Strategies for Alleviation
Helping a depressed dog involves several steps:
Veterinary Consultation: It’s important to rule out medical reasons for your dog's behavior. A vet can offer advice or treatment for underlying health issues.
Routine and Exercise: Establishing a consistent routine and ensuring regular exercise can greatly improve a dog's mood. Activities should be stimulating both mentally and physically.
Positive Reinforcement: Rewarding positive behavior with treats, attention, and praise can help.
Social Interaction: Encourage interaction with other dogs. Socializing can provide a much-needed mood boost.
Environmental Enrichment: Toys, puzzle feeders, and regular playtime can keep your dog mentally stimulated.
Professional Help: In some cases, consulting with an animal behaviorist or considering medication may be necessary.
Conclusion
Understanding and addressing canine depression is vital for the well-being of our pets. By recognizing the signs, understanding potential causes, and implementing effective strategies, owners can help their furry friends lead happier, healthier lives. Remember, a dog’s mental health is just as important as their physical health.

The Partnership Between Trainer & Client
When people contact me looking for help with their animals, they're not always aware of how private training works.  They have this fantastical notion that I will come in, reprogram their dog in one hour, leave, and everything will be all better.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
But it has nothing to do with how good of a trainer or behaviorist I am -- or anyone else is, for that matter.  It has everything to do with valuing the extraordinary intelligence of animals, their need for constant education, enrichment, activity, and bonding with the world around them.  It has been far too many decades that we, as a society, have allowed an incorrect, pervasive approach to dominate our treatment of animals and pets.
Let's start with the word dominance.  Studies have disproven the notion that our canine companions are out to be the leader, and the scientist who published the study to give us that impression recanted his findings.  This came from observation of 8 wolves. Not wild wolves, not a family of wolves, not dogs, and not wild dogs.  These wolves were all male, held in captivity, and this is how they sorted out that stressful living situation.  It does not apply to dogs, who have been selectively bred for millennia to please humans.  A different pack of wolves may have established a different set of rules.  It would be inhumane to find out.
In reality, dogs have varying degrees of priorities just like people do.  Some dogs are super excited to go on their walk and charge through the front door, some dogs love to snuggle and jump on all the furniture that has their humans' scent on it, some dogs adore mealtime and get pushy.  These are natural responses to a dog in drive.  They in no way indicate the dog is being alpha, dominant, or otherwise trying to upset the applecart.  Even dogs who resource guard their food bowl by freezing, snarling, or even biting aren't being alpha.  Resource guarding is a genetic survival mechanism leftover from wolves.  This is why some dogs, who have been neglected and are now emaciated, can never develop resource guarding; while other dogs, who have been provided for their whole lives, do develop resource guarding.
So where does training come in?  Trainers are there to teach the dog certain cues to help them fit into human society.  These cues can be patterned to be considered "good manners," or used as-needed for certain situations.  Behavior specialists can take it one notch further, and begin to help address issues such as reactivity, separation anxiety, hyperactivity, etc.  They are NOT behaviorists and should not be addressing the more serious behaviors.  Behavior consultants have been assessed by an organizing entity, so likely have considerably more training than a specialist (though not always, as animal training is not a regulated professional field in the US and such certifications are not legally required).  Behaviorists are rare, and include people like me who have gotten graduate degrees specifically in animal behavior, like animal psychologists/life coaches/counselors/therapists.  Veterinary behaviorists are more like the psychiatrists of the animal behavior world, they are the only ones who can prescribe medication (as can a general practice veterinarian).  I have worked in conjunction with veterinary behaviorists on several occasions.
So what is the owner's responsibility in all this?  It really comes down to 3 things:
The owner needs to make sure that the trainer they're working with, or whatever level behaviorist, follows a humane hierarchy, and focuses on 2 of the 4 quadrants of learning:  positive reinforcement and negative punishment.  Think of positive like add and negative like subtract, rather than good or bad.  Reinforcement means encourage a behavior to continue and punishment means stop a behavior from continuing.  In short, work with someone who puts a GREAT emphasis on positive reinforcement, adding a reward to encourage the correct behavior to continue.  What goes along with that process is removing something so the dog stops doing what you don't want anymore, negative punishment.  You never want to see a trainer add something to make the dog stop a behavior, such as a physical or verbal correction in the form of positive punishment; you also don't want to see a trainer primarily remove something to get a dog to continue a behavior, such as the stim from an e-collar in the form of negative reinforcement.  The flow of learning energy should be toward something good, not the removal of something unpleasant.
The owner should put these methods into practice as part of the everyday routine.  Just like us, if we stop practicing something, we get rusty -- so do our animals.  Dogs live with us, witness our daily lives and are involved with them to varying degrees.  Holding them accountable means we must do the same for ourselves.  If we only have guests over once a week and that's the only time we practice sit-to-greet, the dog will forget and will need a little help.  If one person is feeding the dog under the table, the dog will beg at mealtime.  Consistency is essential, but it is actually very easy to work into our daily lives if we just look at things a little bit differently and take a few extra minutes to include our dogs in the process.
Have you ever heard the phrase, "A tired dog is a good dog"? Well, there's a big misconception due to a popular TV show that "tired" refers primarily to physically tired, including walking extensively, using a backpack, or doing other highly draining cardio workouts.  While all dogs do need some degree of this, the danger is that we actually train them to become super athletes!  A tired dog that is a good dog is mentally fulfilled and drained.  Brain Drain is the name of the game.  Don't feed your dog out of a boring bowl, use a puzzle, or a slow feed bowl, or even better -- ditch the bowl entirely and use your dog's meals to train them!  It goes by so fast, usually just 5 minutes, but makes a HUGE improvement in behavior and relationship for dog and owner.  In addition, the best walk for a dog is the one where they get to use their nose.  Dogs have something like 400x the receptors that humans do, they can literally diagnose with their nose.  If you want a mentally enriching activity, you need look no further than your local park.  Critter trails made new daily, squirrel holes, bunny hides, bird nests, this is Disneyland for your dog.
If you'd like to discuss your dog's routine, please feel free to email me to setup a virtual consultation.  Mention this post and get 50% off.

Hey there! I was wondering if you would be willing to tell me how one goes about becoming a cat behavioral specialist. Like, where would you get your certification or even classes? I've tried googling but everything looks pretty unofficial or not completely recognized by like... Idk a vet board or something? And beyond that, how would one go about getting jobs for the first time before being credentialed? Sorry if this is a bit of an odd ask, this is just something I've hesitated in pursuing for a long time but definitely want.
If you want an official title, I was able to get mine through ABI. I was also looking around and ABI actually had functional animal behaviorists teaching classes and they're accredited. The classes I took were legitimate and felt just like the online college and university courses I had taken. The testing was more similar to the vocational school I had attended, in that even if you do all of your work and get 100%'s on your homework, you still have to pass your exams or else you don't pass your class.
Unfortunately you'll have professionals who either believe you or don't. I signed up with ABI because they required more in-person volunteer hours at the time, and I had to prove that I was at the shelter taking care of the cats there and learning from experienced shelter workers. Regardless of the school I was attending, folks couldn't doubt that I had spent countless hours at the shelter and working in rescues.
None of that obviously guarantees jobs. I'm currently unemployed/disabled and running a tumblr blog with no income (casually pointing out my Kofi), so the letters at the end of my name don't really mean much when it's hit or miss if a veterinarian is going to believe me or respect my credentials. Basically I went with the most accredited and official animal behavior school and still get doubted. There's a whole conversation about schools and scams in the United States that goes into your concern over legitimacy but that turns into Old Cat Behaviorist Yells At Cloud so I'll just leave it at that.
If you REALLY want to become an animal behaviorist through the Most Squeaky Clean and Guaranteed Path to a Job method, it requires you to become a Veterinarian first and then spend your time focusing on animal behavior studies as your specialty. As far as I know, there is an animal behavior hospital somewhere in Pennsylvania (U.S. - Philly specifically I think?) that focuses on behavioral veterinary practices, so I imagine there should be others, but any school of veterinary medicine should be able to either provide that for you or help you go that route. But if you want to become a feline behaviorist to be more of a Jackson Galaxy figure, unfortunately that's a matter of business knowledge I just don't have. There are local cat conventions I see advertised and I imagine those would be a great place to canvas for possible clients.

Hi Mr doberbutts, I'm sorry to ask because I'm sure you get this kind of question a lot, but tumblr search is awful and I'm a little desperate for some advice. Your dogs seem so happy with you and you've worked with difficult dogs before so I figure you'd be able to give advice that isn't bs. Do you have an opinion on dog training camps? Meaning programs where a dog trainer takes a client's dog into their home/workspace and works with them all day for like a week or two.
My parents adopted a puppy and she has some pretty bad emotional regulation issues, namely she has pica and reacts extremely badly to any attempts to get her to stop eating literal rocks and dirt, even muzzling her makes her lose her shit. I've personally tried very gently teaching "leave it" and "drop it" and rewarding heavily, and also slowly introducing the muzzle with lots of treats, but even with that she eventually gets frustrated she's being prevented from shoveling dirt down her throat. They've decided they need intense training both for them and the dog. My mom is really inclined towards those aforementioned camps (and then have several training sessions in their home with everyone present) but I'm skeptical because all of them seem to use E-collars and my instinct says those might make her reactivity worse. But very few trainers live near us and even fewer will do in-home appointments- except for those training camps. Everyone's a little at their wits' end because she keeps making herself sick and we can't figure out a way to stop her that doesn't result in disaster.
Also dw we are aware pica can be caused by physiological problems, we're actively pursuing any possible diagnoses with our vet. Sorry for the long ask, and you don't have to answer if you don't want to!
I love how I am now Mr Doberbutts. Y'all can just call me Jaz or Jazi, it's fine lmao
I think it is usually not a great idea with a young puppy, and especially not the type of camp you're talking about as they are largely punishment-heavy. I think a better option would be a trainer who could work with you in person on these behaviors, or a veterinary behaviorist. She may need anti-anxiety medications if she's really that bad, there's no shame in using these especially for dogs who struggle so much.

You're a dog trainer? :o
I am! Under a cut, because...idk it's not muse related, so I don't wanna take up people's dash with it.
I've been training professionally for ten years at the end of next month, which...considering a lot of the trainers I've worked with/mentored under have been training for 30+ years? Still isn't actually considered a lot. But! I specialize in working with service/working dogs and their handlers (I worked with explosive detection canines specifically for 5 or 6 years, so I'd say scent work specifically is my favorite). I'm also certified to serve as a proctor for different tests including things like therapy, companion, CGC(A), working, etc., and am certified in canine nutrition! I also train things like agility, rally, basic obedience and show stuff, and work with aggressive/reactive dogs. So I do a little bit of everything, really.
The goal was actually to go through college to become either a certified applied animal behaviorist. Essentially that equates to...I guess a psychologist, for dogs (in my case, anyway). You're expected to not only be able to reliably work with any kind of dog, any kind of training, any kind of non-medical behavioral correction ("non-medical" in most cases. some CAABs are also veterinary behaviorists)...BUT, you also are expected to do research with them that eventually leads to publication in scientific journals.
For example, the wife of a friend of mine did a study (that I got to help with, and ended up being really interesting!) on the way dogs process and react to different pitches and frequencies of noise in different situations. She plans to make it a sort of bridge study, leading into her next study, that incorporates her findings from the first study into the more effective use of sound cues and such in an actual training setting!
But...college is expensive as hell, so like...maybe one day, but probably not. I'm happy with what I'm already able to do, and the dogs and people that I've worked with. So it's chill!

thinking about the eqg going to get a higher education so im gonna ramble here
for starters , aj. i don't think she'd go anywhere, just stay on the farm. however if she did i believe she would go to a trade school for some sort of mechanics and repair thing!
pinkie of COURSE she'd go to a culinary school but im not sure if she'd get an associates or a bachelors... i feel like she'd pull a Caroline and Max tho and open a bakery/cupcake shop
rarity you already know. she's going to a fashion institution in a huge fucking city. she would probably do it for the full 6 years and get her masters aswell and have her own store and online business
rainbow.. super unsure but maybe she'd go to a community college? scratch that. she'd be a Profesional runner of course which is an actual job apparently. not sure what you need to do to become that but you don't really need schooling so she'll figure out a way to do it
sunset. sunset sunset sunset. she would go into the teaching industry to become a guidance counselor so she'd get her bachelors and masters id assume because teachers need both their bachelors and masters so she'd probably major in social work and minor in sociology for her undergrad year then for her masters in counseling and probably have to get a certification for teaching or something yknow
fluttershy! an animal behaviorist. i really don't think she would be a normal as veterinarian. for an animal behaviorist you need and you need a certication in this field and there are 2 that you can get which is an ACAAB, an associate certified applied animal behaviorist or a CAAB a certified applied animal behaviorist. and we all know which one she's getting and that requires a doctoral and 5 years of experience . so with a bachelors and masters that's about 6 years and the added doctoral is about an additional 5-8 years? so about 10+ years of schooling she'd get. for her bachelors she'd major animal science and minor in . something idk zoology or biology or sum. then she'd go to veterinary school and get a degree in veterinary medicine and then blah blah blah im tired of this next girl
ok! Sci twi. im not completely sure. honestly nayhe something in the medical field? cut that i think she'd be a physicist. i think she'd also get a PhD in her field like flutters and of course since she's doing stuff in physics she'd have physics as her major duh and then she'd probably minor in like.. biology and then masters in physics and then doctoral in physics all that good shit

okay JWE2 I have some questions that may or may not have been answered in the films
What are they using to tranq so quickly? I’m assuming Fish & Wildlife just has the largest ket or carfent stash in the country? Do dinosaurs metabolize that quickly?
Oh okay we’re just leaving sedated animals on the ground while we build stuff
Do we want to maybe monitor our sedated animals?
Can sedated animals crash or die in this game?
the game seemed to think it was appropriate for me to sedate animals while they swam and I waited for them to leave the pond because while I know this is a game I absolutely cannot
I’m assuming Mr. Grady is neither a CAAB nor a veterinary behaviorist, so he’s doing what a lot of crappy animal trainers do in misrepresenting your credentials
I have not seen you even target train well dude are you sure you can call yourself a behaviorist
DO WE NOT SHIFT THESE ANIMALS EVER????? HOW DO YOU CLEAN???
Oh the ranger vehicle just lost a door I have my answer it’s all free contact
You invest billions into genetic modifications and you cannot double-gate your enclosures?
What are we doing about the wide-open gates when the ranger vehicles drive through? Why are those doors so wide, anyway, when you regularly airlift the dinos? Wouldn’t it be safer to have a car-sized gate?
Did anyone consider it might be a bad welfare choice to have enclosures where predators can see prey animals and vice-versa

Volunteer, Foster, and Rescue some sort of Life!
Volunteering a tiny of some location is definitely crucial to BOOK MARKING feline lives. Last summer, My partner and i received a message via my feline sitter, which likewise runs a feline rescue: "Hey. My partner and i possess nine kittens that need an area to crash for a couple of weeks. Can you assist? " I panicked for a new minute. My partner and i wanted to be able to say yes. Nonetheless I actually had no suggestion approach foster kittens and currently had a houseful of resident in town pets. But typically the kitties experienced no place to go, so I actually agreed. In the stop, my family together with My spouse and i were astonished in accurately how easy (and pleasant! ) it was to keep up and interact socially with the little cuties and make them for their forever homes. Although we had been uninformed entering into this, our earliest foster work was a smashing accomplishment. WHY FOSTERING CONSERVES LIFE Pet welfare companies concur that an essential component of conserving animal lives is cultivating when an person or house takes in an animal from your sanctuary or maybe rescue and even cares for him, either with regard to a good brief period or perhaps until the animal can be accepted. Based on the ASPCA, a great estimated 3. 3 million felines get in animal sanctuaries throughout the region every year. About 860, 500 (more than 25%) involving those felines are euthanized lots of unnecessarily credited to lack of room or maybe resources. But dog health and wellness professionals think the fact that fostering may change that percentage. "If just 2% associated with pet-owning people would definitely foster one pet dog a new year, we would definitely end unnecessary assisted committing suicide tomorrow, " states Susanne Kogut, president of the particular Petco Foundation. This not-for-profit has invested greater than $250 thousand to support the lifesaving activities of pet well-being organizations throughout the country. VARIETIES OF SERVICE While fostering is a somewhat easy means to support household pets, quite a few people have a tendency know what it requires. Thankfully, agencies that count on foster caregivers try out to make it easy for people to obtain engaged. A good lot of potential fosters are ruffled, says Palma Gravina, typically the senior volunteer manager on North Coast Pet Addition America, in Port New york, New You are able to City. This company supplies teaching to aid it is advance caretakers and lots involving the help of veterinarians and behaviorists about staff. "We explain to our foster family associates, 'You're by no means alone! '" Victoria claims. Maddie's Pay for, a national foundation committed to providing a good no-kill country, also pinpoints the fact that education and learning remove obstacles to individuals approaching to be advance household members, so they now have created the extensive on the internet repository maddiesfund. org. Now there, foster caregivers and shelter or relief team are able to find assets about endorsing, looking after animals, and supporting foster family associates. In addition to training, many sanctuaries in addition to rescues supply foodstuff and materials and handle the price of veterinary clinic care of the promote animals, which is a good regular concern for future foster households. VARIOUS PROMOTE SITUATIONS Pet kittens and cats, because well as kittens, include the selection of foster remedy demands. Some require a good spot to remain for an evening as well as a few weeks, while other people call for a dedication of several months. Pet shelters would like to help make the cultivating expertise favorable and work with caretakers to uncover a good situation most convenient their way of life. "If a person tell me personally you have just 2 weeks to help, I'm not really likely to send you household with bottle-feeding kittens which can not be taken on for another 30 days or maybe more, " says Erin Steen, foster manager with Best Buddies Animal Traditions around Kanab, Ut. "My job is to possibly be versatile and fit people up with the pet read that right for them. inch Felines of each and every age get from foster treatment, statements Gemma Cruz, administrative director in the particular ASPCA Kittycat Baby Area. The request for kitten helps bring about rises appreciably during the "kitty time, " or cat breeding season, which occurs during the country through springtime and summer, the girl describes. Sanctuaries and will save working experience an increase connected with kittens as well as require create families in order to action in and aid. IMPORTANT INTENDED FOR KITTIES Shelter surroundings normally are not helpful for kittens, that is why foster homes are as a result vital for felines this kind of youthful, says Kelly Duer, advance care professional together with Maddie's Fund. Kitties call for to get made sterile as well as sterilized before they proceed up for use, which does not take location very much they've gotten for you to about 2 pounds as well as eight weeks of time. "Yet their premature system proof systems can't do away with shelter-borne diseases, " your woman examines. For orphaned, bottle-fed young children, the need with regard to foster caretakers can be also more critical. Most sanctuaries do not have adequate personnel or volunteers in order to bottle give food to every few of hrs, as a result engender family members are typically the kittens' only chance at survival. When their own basic needs are attained, hanging around with individuals may be the very best means to prepare kittens to get fostering, even if they can be nervous. In a shelter, explains Erin, the already-shy kittens could never grow to be interpersonal. "It would certainly be solid for shelter staff to pay sufficient period to make them experience comfortable and also protected, " the girl includes. Nevertheless, in a engender property, numerous kitties can easily effortlessly find out to depend upon people. HELPING ADULT CATS AND KITTENS It's not merely comfortable, very little kitties that will need foster buildings. Adult pet cats, particularly those recovering from surgical procedures or perhaps ailments, are extra relaxed and heal much quicker in a foster house, Kelly claims. Still, some others, who else aren't at his or her perfect in a retreat environment, typically do substantially better in a instill house. "Also, in the particular best shelters, lifestyle to get family pet is difficult, and also, this can result in pets' habits in order to become weak, placing their life on risk, " Kelly covers. "Foster treatment is the particular means to fix every one connected with these problems. " Claims Triunfo, foster houses support felines and kitties to help flourish. "It provides typically the prospect to reveal could possibly be true persona as well as eventually gives pet the second opportunity. inch And they all are entitled to 1, accomplish definitely not they? Is usually Promoting For You? Fostering isn't very for everybody, and which is just fine. However, a lot of people could well be amazing fosters if they opted for attempt it out. Inquire alone these concerns in advance of starting: you Do a person own your residence, as well as does your proprietor make it possible for pet dogs? Ensure your dwelling predicament will be reactive to having some extra proprietors around, as they may well exist anywhere from two to eight 2 or 3 weeks, relying with what grow older and requirements the pet cat or maybe kittens may possibly have. 3 Do you have the designated place in your house? Kittycats do not call for much bedroom; also, a washroom might be a right, risk-free place to get young kittens. Older felines don't often need a lots of parts either. If you possess citizen pet dogs, especially, be sure your current break feline connected to help their very own, like a great further bedroom or restroom, in which this individual can proceed to feel free of risk. 3 or more. Are you able to hang about with typically the pet dog? Even those who function full-time tasks could be great fosters if they may hang around with their foster creatures once they get property. Between the most crucial characteristics of an foster are mingling socially with the kittens or felines, so they feel as cozy like possible around humans. Several grown-up pet cats bloom in residence set upward, allowing the foster loved ones to see the pet cat's genuine personality! After that, many people can share that will together with prospective adopters, supplying a great incredible feeling of what the cat is all concerning. 4 Is it possible to take the particular pet to veterinarian appointments and also usage occasions? While the refuge or even attempt usually covers treatment, promote caretakers need for you to be prepared to do the foster animal to the particular veterinary when needed. Instill moms and dads might likewise be asked to deliver the animal to promoting activities. cat food

Describe how animal communicators use cutting-edge techniques and technology in their work.
Animal communication is a fascinating field that delves into the ways humans interact with and understand the language of animals. While traditional methods relied heavily on observation and interpretation, modern animal communicator are embracing cutting-edge techniques and technology to deepen their connections with the animal kingdom.
Introduction to Animal Communication
Animal communication encompasses the methods by which humans seek to understand and communicate with animals. It goes beyond simple observation to delve into the intricacies of animal behavior, emotions, and intentions. Understanding animal communication is crucial for various reasons, including fostering better relationships between humans and animals and addressing behavioral issues.
Traditional Methods of Animal Communication
Historically, animal communication relied on observational techniques and intuition. Animal behaviorists and trainers would spend countless hours studying animals in their natural habitats or in controlled environments, attempting to decipher their actions and vocalizations. While these methods provided valuable insights, they were often limited by human interpretation and bias.
Evolution of Animal Communication Techniques
With advancements in technology and psychology, the field of animal communication has undergone a significant transformation. Modern animal communicators now have access to cutting-edge tools and techniques that enable them to communicate with animals on a deeper level. These methods leverage scientific principles and innovative technology to bridge the gap between humans and animals.
Utilizing Telepathy in Animal Communication
One of the most intriguing aspects of modern animal communication is the use of telepathy. While the concept may seem far-fetched to some, many animal communicators believe that telepathic communication is possible between humans and animals. Through focused intention and mental visualization, communicators claim to be able to establish a direct line of communication with animals, allowing them to exchange thoughts, emotions, and images.
Role of Intuition in Animal Communication
In addition to telepathy, intuition plays a crucial role in animal communication. Communicators rely on their innate intuition to tune into the subtle cues and energies emitted by animals. This intuitive connection allows them to gain insights into an animal's state of mind, emotions, and physical well-being. Through practice and experience, communicators can sharpen their intuitive abilities and deepen their connections with animals.
Understanding Body Language and Vocalizations
Interpreting body language and vocalizations is another essential aspect of animal communication. Animals communicate through a combination of visual cues, such as facial expressions and body postures, and vocalizations, such as barks, growls, and chirps. By observing these behaviors and sounds, communicators can decipher the messages being conveyed by animals and respond accordingly.
Incorporating Technology in Animal Communication
Advancements in technology have revolutionized the field of animal communication, providing communicators with a wealth of tools and resources to enhance their work. From biofeedback devices that measure an animal's physiological responses to smartphone apps that translate animal vocalizations into human language, technology has opened up new possibilities for communication and understanding between humans and animals.
